Less than 10 minutes into Rotorua and all the geothermal & other tourist attractions. Note: this neighbourhood does NOT have the famous Rotorua sulphur smell :)

The Cabin - Fantail Grove, Hamurana, Rotorua.

The Cabin is located at Hamurana, in a 2 acre garden setting 350m from Lake Rotorua. Located 120 m from the owners house and is completely private. All around are Sugar Maples with ferns and native plants underneath which attract the fantails. Purpose built and architecturally designed in 2019 as a holiday retreat using passive home guidelines. The cabin is a 15 minute drive from Rotorua CBD, close to all tourist attractions while allowing you the peace and quiet of a luxury retreat.

Nestled on the banks of the peaceful Ngongotaha trout stream, Riverside Cottage is your perfect Rotorua retreat. Wake to birdsong and watch the sun set over the water and valley beyond. We’re a short drive to Rotorua’s restaurants and hot pools— close to Mitai Māori Village, Zorb, the Gondola, and Luge. Paradise Valley is nearby as are a local café, bakery, and superette. Riverside Cottage has all key amenities — comfy beds, fast WiFi, well-stocked kitchen and a washing machine.

Our wee rustic guesthouse is in Ngongotahā which is 7km's from Rotorua central. Our rustic guesthouse is set in our back garden along with 6 chickens and our 8 year old Golden Labrador Rex. The space is private and has a double bedroom with a comfy queen bed & ensuite. There's a separate lounge with kitchenette & dining space, basic TV & cozy sofa, surrounded by a deck with gas BBQ. We are by no means luxurious, but do guarantee inspiration, character & heaps of love for our home
