Atmospheric red cabin

Atmospheric red cottage in the village of Rautiosaari by the river 16km from Rovaniemi city center. Your own car is necessary. Parking space is easy to find in front of the cottage. Car heating is also possible. From your own yard you can go directly to the river for outdoor activities and ice fishing. For the youngest in the family, there is a sledding hill (2 sleds) and the Rautiosaari ski trail starts 300m away. Linens and towels are included. The host is nearby, if you have any questions or problems, you can contact them by phone.

Minimökki + sauna

Experience the wilderness of Lapland! Here you can cook on a fire and sweat in a tree sauna. Sauna cottage in a quiet location, about 25 kilometers from Rovaniemi. Located in the yard of another cottage. A view of the forest from the sauna cabin's porch. There is no water line, the water containers are filled when you arrive. Spacious sauna. BBQ house at your disposal (about 50 meters from the cottage). A dry toilet accessed through a canopy. Refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. No hot plate. Linens/towels included.

Peace of nature close to services

A cozy cottage in peace surrounded by forest just a ten-minute drive from Santa's village. The city center is only a few kilometers away. The cottage yard has its own fireplace, where you can spend an atmospheric evening and see the northern lights if you're lucky. From the home road, there is a connection to the bike path, where there is an opportunity for jogging. Nearby is the Santavaara King's lean-to, where I recommend visiting to admire the magnificent nature of Lapland and the Ounasjoki River.

Cottage under the Northern Lights

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax in the midst of pure nature. The cottage is located in a small village in the middle of the Lapland wilderness. Here you can do skiing, snowshoeing, and fishing. In addition, we organize snowmobile tours as desired. The cottage is about 75km to the city of Rovaniemi. Ice fishing tour 40€ person, 1-2h. Sausage baking at the campfire 40€ person. Northern lights tour €60 person. Snowmobile safari 90€ per person 2h. You can book by message.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.

After the days' activities, bathe in genuine woodburning sauna with soft steam, dip into hot pool or lake under the arctic sky, in all seasons.

Enjoy Lapland's nature and lovely sauna in privacy. Accommodation and experiences in same place. Modern cottage (2023, 48m²). Two frame mattress beds and two extra beds from bedsofa, also good for adults. All the beds in same space. See the wonderful landscape and northern lights from frozen lake or through large windows.
