Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free Wi-Fi, hot tub, 3 meters from the water, quiet and beautiful, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, underfloor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning must be done before checking out and must be done thoroughly, for example, vacuuming, drying the floors, dusting the bathroom and kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included with the cabin. You need to clean the house before you check out.

Welcome to Finnskogen! Here you will live in a large and cozy house overlooking the lake and with the forest as the closest neighbor. Perfect for the extended family or friends who want nature, tranquility and plenty of space. Swimming, campfire, cross-country skiing, fishing, berry and mushroom picking and walks on beautiful gravel roads – only two hours from Oslo. From Varildgården there are great day trips to Charlottenberg, swimming or skiing in Torsby, Badeland and Selma Lagerlöf's spa in Sunne or a trip to Rotneros park. Hiking, cross-country skiing and swimming locally.

Newer cabin of 136 m2 located on the east side of Odalen's pearl, Storsjøen. Here you can enjoy your vacation with family or friends. It is a peaceful little cottage area with about 50 cottages. Short distance to the lake for swimming, fishing and other water activities. Storsjøen is shallow and has high bathing temperatures of about 22-26 degrees. The area has 2 beaches, a long beach that is suitable for toddlers and one with more depth for the slightly larger ones. There are also many hiking trails to explore and small fishing waters in Odalen.

Closed child-friendly area where only residents have access to the road barrier. In summer, there is the possibility of swimming, fishing or hiking on prepared trails. With a canoe you can visit several islands in the lake. Free loan of canoe. The cabin is only a 1 hour drive from Gardermoen Airport. The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøslis nature. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. During the golf season there is also an open restaurant 400 meters away from the house, with good food and a license to sell alcohol :) The house contains four bedrooms, with the possibility of setting up an alcove in addition.

In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
