Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rowan County

This is the first Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I rented it for the weekend for my kids and husband. The place is absolutely beautiful! The home smelled so clean when you walked in. You can hear the birds chirping when sitting outside. The back porch was so peaceful. My kids have never seen fireflies ever and this place had them all in the yard. My kids went swimming for hours, my husband fished for hours. The beds are super comfortable. The people around the area are amazing and super kind. Before we left the Airbnb, my husband and I have already discussed about coming back. I highly recommend this place. Sallie is also a great host. I had questions and she answered them within minutes. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. I was also able to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was home away from home. If your looking a beautiful lake house, this is for you!

It truly did feel like Grandma's place, so sweet and comfy and LOVED the nostalgia.

First off Carson is an amazing host! We absolutely loved our stay here. My family of 4 felt right at home. The house and kitchen is well stocked with towels, linens, pillows, pots/pans, cups etc. I only brought seasonings and food. The beds are extremely comfortable and so are the pillows. We are an outdoor family so this spot hit all our outdoor needs. Ate outside a lot, the grill, the table, the fire pit and spacious yard was perfect for us! Now the dock and lake. That’s where we spent most of our time. Beautiful long dock with stairs at the end to jump in and cool off. Brought my own life jackets for the kids. The water is nice and clean as well. We also spent hours fishing here and got lucky with some nice catches. The surrounding neighbors are great we made friends with everyone near by and their sweet puppies especially Lucy and Braxton. DoorDash, Instacart and Dominoes delivery out there for days I didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed this stay very very much, we will be back.

The house was exceptionally clean and was as advertised in the pictures. Actually the kitchen was larger than what we expected. The mattress was also very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. I can't think of one thing that we needed that wasn't already there. Definitely recommend this house and will use it again if we are in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while attending our annual regional Convention at the Assembly Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Salisbury. This is one of the most immaculate and comfortable AirBnB's I have ever stayed in, and we've been to many. The host thought of literally everything, and even left a hand written welcome note for us! We're happy to see a young couple like Chris and Grace build their business up with a good sense of value and integrity as a foundation. We'll be back again next year!

We had a wonderful stay! We visited the local park and it was close to a lot of fun things to do for the family. Could use a cookie sheet or 2 for baking/cooking but other than that-it was just what we needed! Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying there. The house is spacious, good for entertaining as a family, very clean, and with everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. We highly recommend it. It was a very pleasant stay.

Easily walk to restaurants and coffee. Only note is that you are located right downtown, so there is traffic and you can hear people talking on the street outside. Not a huge deal, but something to note. Place was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

Loved our stay at their place! Location was incredible and right in the heart of downtown Lexington! Beautiful place and Cherie was such an amazing host! We will definitely stay here again if we visit Lexington in the future!

Michael’s apartment is in a perfect location in the middle of downtown Salisbury. We came for a girls weekend and walked all weekend. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed. We plan to stay again.

Everything was just as it appeared in the photos. It was the perfect, peaceful getaway 😊

The only reason I am giving 5 stars is because they don’t offer 10. Can’t say enough good about this place. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and everything you might need. I do mean everything. If it’s not there, you probably don’t need it. Debbie is awesome! Made check in a breeze and quick to answer any questions. Great place and greater host.
