Beautiful log cabin with a porch and an atmospheric living room/kitchen. The cottage was completed in 12/2020, and is located in a quiet location. The nearest neighbor is 1 km away. The cottage has underfloor heating/wood stove. In the courtyard of the cottage, there is a large hut, freely available. The nearest body of water is Jokijärvi, 600 meters to the beach, where there is a beach and a rowboat. Connection to the official sled trail. Hiking trail Simosenpolku next to the property. Maintained ski trail to ski trails. Kalle Päätalo Museum, Kallioniemi, about 3 km away.

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and roomy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a sauna + bathroom. The loft also has plenty of space and sleeping places. The cottage has all the modern comforts and the large windows open up to a magnificent lake landscape in two directions. In the warmth of the fireplace, it is nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence. You will enjoy and relax here, welcome!

During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

A quiet cottage near the eastern border. I travel around the world myself and I know from experience quite well what the basic things a customer wants from their accommodation and I can assure you that they can really be found here! I spend a lot of time here myself and I am constantly trying to improve the place, so you will not find, for example, worn-out frying pans or broken dishes here. Here, nature is close and you can, for example, fish or otherwise move in nature.

A boat is available for free use. Activities: wildtaiga site. Hot tub / extra fee 90€.
