  • Outstanding space! A lot of love and attention has been put into all the little DIY details. The bed was outstandingly comfortable and the space was a cozy respite from the road. I highly recommend it!

  • Fun and funky. When you settle in to the private courtyard you forget you’re in the city. You could be in a mountain cabin in the woods. Ethan and Craig are friendly and pleasant hosts.

  • This is one of the very few rentals that made us feel truly very welcome. The space was sparkling clean. More than enough pillows on the comfy bed (s), classy decor and a nice quiet neighborhood. Thank you for sharing your home. I wish all rental owners can be like you - offering guests the best without the over charge. 😉

  • In a word "lovely". Who knew one could put so much perfection into one room. Loved the decor, the shower and what a plus not waking to a back ache. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Marty and David thought of everything including treats. It would be our pleasure to stay there again. Thank you!!

  • This was a wonderful space and we really enjoyed our time here! We loved walking around the area, appreciating the quiet and slower pace Alameda has to offer. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio area and the bedroom living room space was very inviting and comfortable. We were grateful for the detailed information and recommendations listed, as well as the delicious coffee, oatmeal and other snacks. Thank you so much!

  • Marty's place is a very clean and spacious place to stay. I stayed two nights and enjoyed staying here. The studio like place is comfortable and the bed made me sleep like a baby. I like the nice touch of my name in front of the driveway. It confirmed where I should park. I would definitely book here again.

Located in a residential area, we're centrally located--close to the beach, marina, and restaurants. You’ll love the comfy bed, the high ceilings, and peacefulness. My place is good for adventurers and business travelers. We respectfully ask that you book elsewhere if you have animals because we are highly allergic. House is not child-proof and inappropriate for guests with children. We have repeat business travelers who depend on a quiet atmosphere.
This is a room located in a light-filled, upper flat in a residential neighborhood, There is a shared bathroom, shared kitchen for light meal prep (microwave and fridge, no stove), and a living room. I live on site.
It's a lovely small city to walk or bike located 15 miles from San Francisco's Civic Center. The architecture is mixed with most of it from about 100+ years ago in the area where I live. A walk to the beach is 15 minutes away. From there you can walk about 3+ miles in either direction following the beach along the bay. You can get some lovely views of SF. We have a variety of restaurants for even discerning palates with the restored 1930’s historic cinema located near the Park St. restaurant district. Walking distance from here, about 7 blocks is a tiki lounge called the Forbidden Island. They have gone all out with the décor, which transports you instantly to a small island in the Pacific. Alameda is a terrific place to unwind after a long day in the city.
  • I have stayed here multiple times - the place is always clean and communication is great. Easy to enter and exit the home and the room is very comfortable. Highly recommended!

My apartment is on the top floor and faces a North Easterly direction, affording beautiful morning sunshine in the bedroom (I have room darkening curtains for you late sleepers!), bathroom and living area. The renovated Edwardian Style building sits on an island filled with historic architecture dating back to the 1800's. High ceilings, plenty of light and a great location make this a unique place in a quiet neighbourhood on Alameda...a conveniently located island across the bay from SF.
The space is part modern, part antique store and part estate sale. I have books ranging from Carl Jung to Albert Camus and magazines National Geographic, Mens Heath and Vanity Fair. For entertainment I have big screens in the living area and the bedroom both are SMART TV's and have access to various entertainment choices such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube,Amazon FireTv (in the bedroom) and a BlueRay player in the main living room. Feel free to visit a Redbox down the street (or the Redbox App on the TV), bring your own book or other media or just plan on taking a long walk down to Robert Crown beach early in the morning with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea in hand. It doesn't get much better than th🦛🦈🐏is... One final note: If there is a date that you want to visit that is blocked or if you want to stay more than the 14 day maximum, shoot me an email and I'll see what I can work out for you!
There are so many great things to do without ever leaving Alameda! Park Street could use up a whole day with the eclectic shops and restaurants that call that street home. Try the new Star on Park, the German restaurant Spieskammer, Pacific Lighthouse (a dim sum delight near Pacific Marina and the Oakland Yacht Club), Burma Superstar (part of the highly rated SF Burmese restaurants) or one of the many seafood restaurants that ring the island.
  • Great stay! The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We just stayed for one night before a morning flight so this was perfect for that!

  • Easy check in process; private and stylish.

    Arthur2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Delightful, comfortable apartment with superb host. We couldn’t recommend this apartment more! Patrick provides touches of luxury (bedding, towels, coffee bar), high tech amenities (large smart tv screens, wifi, wireless chargers), appealing eclectic furniture, all the while making the apartment feel very easy to “move into” for your stay. Patrick provides a lot of very good information in advance both about the easy check-in, the apartment and your stay in Alameda. He is incredibly responsive if needed. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Alameda.

    Lara2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick's place is in a great location in Alameda. About a mile from the main town and shops and short drive t Trader Joes and Safeway. The place was very clean, had all the kitchen amenities for us to cook. Patrick left very clear communication on where to park and how to get into the apartment. We will definitely look to stay here next time we come into town.

    Jessica2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick is very responsive to questions and provided fast and friendly replies. The apartment is very attractive and comfortable. Check in was very easy. We enjoyed a quiet evening and restful sleep.

    Sherrie2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick’s place was cute, clean, and convenient. A great walk to the main ave in Alameda. Bed and pillows were both very comfy!

  • My daughter and I had a great week in this place! Patrick was very welcoming and helpful, and responsive when I had any questions. The bed is super comfy and the apartment had everything we needed for a nice stay. Would definitely recommend!

Silver is a cozy summer or winter retreat. She is a 36 foot motor yacht with all the amenities of a small apartment. The atmosphere aboard is modern yet cozy. Silver makes a great alternative to motels and hotels and is located in a secure area.
Silver is a 36 foot motor yacht nestled in the shadow of the historic Quinn's Lighthouse restaurant/pub and the quaint gardens of Embarcadero Cove Marina. The marina is less than a mile from the Mom and Pop shops, bars and restaurants that line the beautiful streets of Alameda and under 2 miles from historic Downtown Oakland. The yacht has great outdoor areas including a fully enclosed flybridge and a separate open air aft deck - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine, listening to music, watching the sunsets or just enjoying a cup of coffee. The kitchen has a tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer, as well as plates/mugs/glasses/utensils, etc. The bathroom has a full-sized, electric toilet along with wash basin and a large shower room. We also have kayaks available for guests to use for free which are a fun way to explore the estuary. If the dates you want aren't available, please check out my other listing (click on my profile to see listings.)
  • Great experience. Shaun was great and even gave us tips on local spots. I think I remember other reviewers said it was not sparkling clean. It was not sparkling but it was definitely not dirty, I would say typical for a docked boat. felt totally comfort staying and I am big on cleanliness.

    Lilli2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a getaway resort in the heart of Oakland. Quiet calm relaxing evening and calm coffee sitting up top in the morning. $5.00 Lyft to nearby Jack London Square, and much more. Best experience in Oakland. Shaun was exceptional and on time.

    Don2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesome experience! Fantastic location and a wonderful host! It doesn’t get any better than this.

    Jason2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

    Cyrus2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • It is the perfect get away to be on a boat in a quiet marina just below a pub with great food. Only stayed one night so no time to kayak this trip. Shaun is a great communicator and we love his boats and the pub too. We are already planning our next visit.

    Marie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Shaun’s boat was exactly the type of getaway my fiancée and I needed. It’s location was perfect. The marina had a restaurant where we had a delicious meal! We were able to take our leftovers back to boat and have food for later. The location is super close to SF just about a 20 min drive. We didn’t feel unsafe it’s pretty secure where the boat is. Just use your common sense and you shouldn’t have a problem in the area.

    Devyn2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fun, different place to stay. Great price, good experience.

    Alexis2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really quirky place to stay. The mooring gives you fantastic views, especially of the sunsets and sunrises. The boat itself is well equipped. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people but wouldn't be suitable for the less inform. The boat is moored right next to Quinn's Lighthouse restaurant, which has a great selection of reasonably priced food and HUGE portions! If you're looking for something a bit different when you come to stay in the Bay area, give Shaun a shout and come stay on the yacht.

We are blessed to live in one of the most amazing places on earth. Come join in our cozy downstairs efficiency apartment. Whether you want to just get away, break a sweat in our home gym, or lounge in our backyard; we'd be glad to host you.
Please be aware that this is a basement unit and the ceilings are a little low. The clearance in the overall space is 7' and the shower is 6'3". Our place is lovely and cozy, however if you are Shaquille O'Neal, this is not the ideal spot for you.
The neighborhood is quiet, safe , and culturally diverse. You will easily find street parking near the house. This is a phenomenal town that has over 20 parks, shopping, restaurants, museums and a beautifully maintained Beach that goes on for miles and miles. We moved here years ago and to this day we continue to be amazed at all that we have in this small 6 mile long island. Whether you're a foodie, an athlete, or someone who just wants to enjoy Alameda beach, we have everything you need.
  • I enjoyed my stay at Gabriel and Gabriella’s. It was conveniently located, clean, and large enough for all my traveling needs. Gabriella was a gracious hostess and each day I was supplied with a nice breakfast. I would stay at this location again!

    Susan2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gabriel and Gabriella’s space is really lovely. It is clean, cozy, affordable, well designed and has lots of thoughtful amenities. The location is great and they are such kind people. I would highly recommend staying with them.

  • Simple, comfortable and quiet.

    Robyn2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome private little space. Parking was not an issue, at most I parked 3-4 houses away on a busy night. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. It's also surrounded by food just a short trip away. Gabriella/Gabriel was excellent in communication and making me feel welcomed. I am 5'11" and the shower had easily an extra 5-6" of clearance. Place is very clean and very private. Side note, you can sometimes hear footsteps above, which is absolutely not an issue, just worth a mention. It did not disrupt me at all. Great Value place for sure.

    Donny2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Gabriella and Gabriel, for opening up your home! I had a really pleasant stay. The space is ideal for peace and privacy.. the thoughtfulness with the amenities and little percs is very sweet. Everything is clean, the family is responsive and very respectful. Step through the private entrance and into an interior filled with light and original art and all the comforts of home. Set on the ground floor of a renovated 1889 home, the many welcoming touches include a snack basket and air diffusers.
The studio has a queen bed, a standing closet, a table for two and a kitchenette. It is accessible through its own entrance. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, two burner stove, tea kettle, coffee press, pots & pans and place settings for two. There is a cozy bathroom with a shower. This space also includes wifi. The ceiling height is 6 feet 3 inches throughout the apartment and slightly less at the entry doorway. We live upstairs and you will likely hear the occasional footstep (it isn't a cottage in the woods). Street parking is usually found within a block of the unit.
Stroll to a choice of dozens of proprietor-owned restaurants, along with bookstores and the historic Alameda Theater. Go half a mile to reach South Shore Center, with Trader Joe's, Safeway, and other big-brand outlets. The beach is a 15-minute walk.
  • The neighborhood was peaceful & quiet! It was a very nice place to stay! I will definitely be coming back & staying here!

  • Parker's place is extremely comfortable and in a great location. The place was immaculately clean, and there were lots of nice little touches like an ironing board and space heater. Fast wifi for remote working! Parking was never an issue, and self check in was as easy as they come. Parker was attentive and respectful. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

    Alexander2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect location! Two blocks from restaurants and bars. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was lovely. Modern and incredibly clean. Parker was very responsive. I'd go back. Taller folks may not feel as comfortable as I did (I'm 5'3) because the ceilings are quite low, especially in the shower. Other than that, I would totally stay here again.

    Ana2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay at Parker's Airbnb. It had everything I needed for a short business trip. The mattress was pretty firm, which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but ultimately I had a good night's sleep, so no complaints here :) As other reviewers mentioned, you can hear some noise from above, but it was all quiet by 10. Parker communicated well, was very accommodating, and everything was great overall.

    Tamara2020-02-05T00:00:00Z

This 100-year old water tower in our backyard supplied water to beach cottages on our street. It's been renovated into a tiny home, mostly using reused or upcycled materials. We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. You’ll love it because it's quaint and conveniently located.
The water tower is two stories. Downstairs is a kitchenette with a small fridge and microwave and electric hot water kettle, two chairs, a chaise lounge, a coffee table and bar top. There's a small closet for storage and hanging clothes. There's a small bathroom and shower accessible through the front door porch. There are 8 ladder style steps to get to the bedroom upstairs. Staying at the Water Tower is not advisable for guests scared of heights or feel uncomfortable going up steep stairs. Guests also need to feel comfortable staying in a small space (145 sq ft) . The bedroom upstairs has a desk and a twin bed. There's a mattress under the bed that can accommodate a second person though we generally discourage more than one person staying for multiple days since it's a small space. Also please note that there's a $25 per day fee for additional guests.
The Pacific Pinball Museum featuring the largest collection of pin ball machines this side of the Mississippi is a block away. Beautiful catholic church at the end of the block. Beach access around the corner. Kite surfing lessons are offered nearby. Tuesday and Saturday farmer's market two blocks away. Friendly, safe neighborhood.
  • Highly recomended!

    Bryan2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Actually not as small as you'd expect. It's not *big*, but a lot of the reviews made it sound tiny. I would absolutely stay here again! Oh, and the wifi is actually pretty fast, which is always a bonus :)

    Brooklyn2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Definitely cozy, and I was apprehensive about the outdoor bathroom/shower but it was fine. Very cool spot, nice outdoor space that's private from the host's back yard

    Michael2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Paul’s place is my favorite Airbnb. I’ve stayed many times and it’s always great.

    Oded2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • I always enjoy staying at the Waterhouse. It's close to a lot of great restaurants on Webster, and it's great to have your own space, your own little tiny house and courtyard.

    Roger2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome quiet place and yet near the heart of it all

    Rick2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is adorable. It is small but I found it warm and inviting. Lots of little amenities such as tea, coffee, chocolate. Lots of little labels around on light switches which made learning the space very easy. Really clear directions for access were sent beforehand which eased any anxieties about finding and getting into the space. And of course, the best part is that you're staying in something that used to be a water tower so you get to sleep somewhere with a neat history to it. It's also located in the sweetest little garden, they did a great job of really making everything feel private. As said in the description it is an ideal spot for one traveler. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope I get a chance to!

Explore the historic island city of Alameda, just a quick ferry or bus ride from San Francisco. Step through the side gate of this tranquil retreat, pick a book from the built-in shelves, or play some board games or puzzles. Small back patio is nice for alfresco cup of coffee, tea or wine. There is also a very small 24 in TV with Netflix, Streaming capabilities and local channels in the living room.
The house is very private. You have your own entrance through the side gate and yard area. It is very quiet with no street sounds. There is a small private seating area in the rear of the cottage with table and chairs and umbrella.
This is a great walking area with many beautiful Victorian homes and other historic architecture to admire. The property is just blocks away from a lovely beach with views of San Francisco and kite board classes, with breweries and wineries nearby. You will find restaraunts and bars within a block for the property. Also bus stops for getting to SF and beyond are just a block away. The SF/Alameda ferry is less than a mile for the prperty and is a beautiful way to experiece the Bay Area sites.
  • Best location! Home in their backyard that’s fully equipped! Mary was excellent!

    Makenzie2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The name of the cottage is fitting. Excellent location with a short walk to Webster Street and all it has to offer. Mary was friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again.

    Rudiger2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in the cottage, and Mary was there to quickly respond to our messages. She made the weekend extra special by going the extra mile for us :)

    Tim2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is one AirBnB we will be returning to! Mary is a very thoughtful host. Note: the one block to the street with restaurants is a long block. Saturday is the farmer’s market, which made it extra special.

    Marci2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Mary is amazing. She met with me and we had a nice conversation before I checked in. It is nice to meet your host instead of automated checkin. This place feels like you are staying at a very dear friend's nicely decorated contemporary cottage.

  • Her house was perfect! I was happy with it

  • Mary and Leo have a beautiful little cottage. We felt very comfortable and would choose it again and again for a visit to SF! We received a lot of advice and really enjoyed our time here!

    Chiara2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is a treasure. I’m so glad I was able to stay there. Very convenient to a lovely waterfront park and good restaurants and coffee. Mary is very welcoming. I hope to stay there again.

96%+ 5-Star & 98%+ 4-5-Stars! **WORTH IT. READ REVIEWS.** SF Bay views from your well-appointed room. The Guest House (apt) is steps from the beach. As quiet as it comes this close to the city, yet still accessible to SF: Driving or Lyft/BART(train) 30 -45 min; Bus/BART 45-60 min. SFO: 60-90 min; guests often take the ferry. Easy & free street parking. Check-in & checkout often flexible--check w/host in advance! Car strongly recommended, not required. Also see: https://airbnb.com/h/beach-getaway
Welcome to The Green Dragon Guest House! Frequent AirBnBers who stay at The Green Dragon Guest House often tell me “This is the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at.” I also have a number of repeat guests here on business who come back again and again. Now, there are definitely more “posh” AirBnBs out there. The Green Dragon Guest House is not for everyone (check out the photos to get a sense of the decor). But for those who it IS for, it is a gem. Super-comfortable bed, relaxing and peaceful environment, freshly laundered linens, clean spaces, special touches such as an large overhead shower and Qi chargers on the nightstand, organic soaps, shampoo and conditioner, and breakfast essentials included (that you make yourself) with sourdough toast, pasture-raised eggs, organic oatmeal and organic fair trade coffee and teas. (From our wonderful guests—December 2019] "Beautiful, enchanting guest house with great views of the beach. Excellent service. Everything you need within walking distance. Excellent value with all of the amenities anyone could possibly need. All of my needs were met beyond expectation. Could not have asked for more." "Being at the Guest House felt like being home, to me." "It was one of the most restful stays I have ever had while traveling, and I travel a LOT." "Definitely recommend this place. Has all utilities you need for a comfortable stay. Chill and relaxing vibe near the shore. Love all the organic soaps and shampoos. Vibe is great and you have your own space." [Welcome] The Green Dragon Guest House is not for everyone, but for those whom it is for, it may be exactly what you are looking for: A moderate price for a relaxing, gentle place to stay (including organic soaps, bathrobes and a bed some have said is "almost too comfortable") in a neighborhood that has all the amenities you need, plus immediate access to one of the only beaches in the SF Bay Area. Or, as a recent guest put it: "beyond my expectations." This being said, we are not a hotel; we are a guest house. We are also not the cheapest AirBnb on the market. But we also are not even close to being the most expensive--and if you book late and are lucky enough for us to still have availability, then you're in for a low-priced treat. If you are really looking for the right place to stay for a few days to a few weeks, consider studying the photo tour of the guest house, and perhaps take a look at our website: Green Dragon Guest House Dot Info. They can help you decide if the Green Dragon Guest House is the right place for you. Guests sometimes report two “downsides” to staying here. They are 1) that you may have to walk around the corner, or cross a few very short blocks to get to and from your car, as parking immediately near the guest house can fill up in late afternoon or early evening. The walk is typically no more than 3 minutes, and is about the same distance I walk to get to my own car. As long as you don’t leave bags visible in your car, parking here is quite aafe. And 2) the drive to San Francisco can take 30 - 60 minutes, sometimes longer if at the peak of rush hour or if there is an accident on the freeway. During rush hour, the local ferry is often faster and offers a beautiful ride to and from.. For tourists this distance often means choosing between the guest house’s comfort, relaxation, relative quiet and beauty (and a beach!) over “being in the heart of it all” and paying for that privilege (as city prices are often double ours, or more). [And, here are all the basics:] The view and immediate proximity to Crown State Beach make this space truly special. Your bedroom has a view of the Bay, and the large windows off the living room look out at a view that spans the Central Bay Area, from Silicon Valley on up to downtown San Francisco and the Bay Bridge. You are immediately across the street from a nearly mile long state beach, where sunsets are stunning! Your bed is also super comfortable, according to other guests who have stayed here. You have your own room, and the rest of the apartment is shared space, with either your host and/or other guests staying here (there can be up to 5 people in total in the apartment). A stay at the Green Dragon Guest House includes breakfast "essentials" such as french press coffee, tea, cream, sourdough bread, jam, butter and eggs, provided for your use (and your own cooking).
Relatively quiet and suburban, right next to the beach. During the day the street is fairly busy, but it is no freeway by any means. We are an easy 15 minute/one-half mile walk and/or short drive to the nearest mall which includes a 24-hour Safeway, a Trader Joe's open from 8am to 9pm, and a Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant for healthy fast food. Though the street outside does have modest traffic on it during the day, at night it quiets down, making it sometimes difficult to remember that Oakland is only about 7 minutes away.
  • This is my second stay with Marcus, and he is nothing if not consistent in his hospitality, kindness, Cleanliness and actual and perceived value.

    Desire2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Markus’ apartment is right across the street from the beach. Perfect location on the south shore for walking or running. You can even rent a kite surfer or SUP.

    David2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoy staying at Markus's home. It is in a great location. I feel safe. You can see the water from your room. The bed is very comfortable. He has wonderful amenities and thoughtful touches. I like making fresh great coffee and he has healthy basics you can make for breakfast. It was very convenient for me and he has everything I might need when traveling. Thank you so much Markus for sharing your space!

    Ann2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • It was Great staying there

    Aubrey2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This will likely be one of the better Airbnb experiences that One can have. Not just in perceived value and actual value, but also, Marcus is one of the kindest most genuine humans on the planet and his attention to detail and organization is insanely creative. I don’t have a good to say .The location of the Green dragon guest house is not difficult to find, by the way: He’s left Extensively detailed and easy to follow instructions by the pound so if you just follow Those you’ll be golden. The parking sich Can be kind of hairy during the evening and late night hours so if you go one block up or down on a side street those are most likely your best parking options if you return late at night or around six or seven in the evening . 🧚🏿‍♀️

    Desire2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location , partial view of SF Bay form the bed room window, comfortable & clean room, and Markus's friendly personality & hospitality made my long stay there so enjoyable. I'll definitely recommend the place. Yuri

  • when I use Airbnb it's almost always to rent a whole place. however, I was not disappointed in this private room for rent. the place was very clean and stylish, and checkin was easy. there is freeway noise, but I live by a freeway so that wasnt an issue. I would describe the neighborhood as more in transition (it is not unsafe but I wouldn't leave anything in my car). it was easy to hop on and off the freeway. mattress was firm but that's what I need for my back. definitely a great value for anyone needing a quick stopover for work, etc.

Forget those SF prices and relax in a backyard paradise that's only a short commute to downtown SF! The Redwood Retreat is a spectacular in-law suite in our gorgeous backyard! You'll wake up to birds chirping and squirrels chasing each other around the redwoods. You'll look out the window and see vibrant colors, even a tropical palm tree! You'll have as much privacy as you'd like but are welcomed to say "hi!” This is a residential area, so you’ll need to use ride-sharing or drive to get around.
This is a secluded in-law suite with a queen-sized bed, TV (with an Amazon Fire TV Stick for Amazon Prime Video, HBO, Netflix, ESPN, etc.), WiFi, alarm clock / radio, mini-fridge, microwave, cozy dining set, Keurig (with K-cups, sugar / stevia, and creamer), board games, books, a nice bathroom (we have energy efficient tankless hot water, so you do have to let the water run for a minute before it gets really hot), soft towels, and some beautiful house plants.
You're in a safe neighborhood of Oakland only minutes from Lake Merritt, the Dimond District, Downtown Oakland, and even SF. The neighborhood isn't walkable, so having a car or using Uber / Lyft is suggested. Street parking is readily available, as well.
  • A beautiful little Gem

Our eclectic, art filled room has a private coded entrance and private bathroom. The room is 1/2 of my downstairs, legal duplex (240 sqft). The antique bed is a FULL size with an organic mattress and sheets. The neighborhood is VERY quiet and walking distance to buses/mass transit. The house is located on a cul de sac and street parking is generally easy depending on your arrival time. Enjoy a walk to the beach or a lovely stroll around the Gold Coast's historic homes. Welcome to Alameda!
The room has been lovingly curated by a local Interior Designer. Secure coded entry into your own private, comfortable suite, a bathroom with tub/shower and cafe' table with small kitchenette (micro, fridge, Keurig, hot water kettle, PUR pitcher, dishes, glassware and utensils, NO SINK or OVEN). My 15 year old and I live upstairs; our home is a duplex and the room we offer is 1/2 of the lower level. We respect your privacy but are happy to assist you in any way. We provide you breakfast in the morning or if you prefer, the evening before. The antique marble cafe' table is a large enough work station for a laptop and/or there's a table in the garden with wifi. I have recently installed a separate router adjacent to the room for faster wifi speeds. The garden is a perfect place to relax and I encourage you to do so. I am happy to interact as little or as much as you like. I have a home office in the backyard and am available most days. I am located on the edge of the historic Gold Coast neighborhood. It is quiet, safe and relaxed area. You'll get the sense that you're in a different era of time. The whole community is supportive and social; everybody knows everyone and looks out for each other. On island the public transport is pretty slow at times but decent; all local buses can take you to the Alameda Main St. Ferry for Oakland or SF stops. Prefer BART !?, take a short bus (51) ride to downtown Oakland. There's also the AC Transit line that offers rapid transit into SF and the stop is just a few blocks away (O or W line). Once on the off-island buses like the ACT you are in good hands schedule wise. Backyard access. As little or much as they prefer. It's quiet and friendly. Yes, ferry, busses and BART nearby.
We are located in the Historic Gold Coast neighborhood of Alameda. Alameda sits on island within the San Francisco Bay, to the East of S.F. and adjacent to and South of Oakland. Our neighborhood is walkable, quiet and safe. Many large historic homes to appreciate nearby. Parasailing and kiteboarding is popular along the shoreline. Rent a bike and explore!
  • Clean quiet suite convenient to East Bay. Comfortable bed. Nice!

  • This Alameda cottage was perfect for our visit to see family - very comfortable and really well maintained (with cute decor), spotlessly clean, and in a great location. The cottage has everything you need in it, including a spacious kitchen with lots of supplies. You can walk to the beach, library, and a variety of shops for your needs including coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Because the cottage is tucked away on a side street, it's very quiet at night and parking was always easy to find. Diana was also a great host. She was very easy to communicate with and always fast to respond (as well as proactive). All in all, a fantastic stay and we'd love to return!

  • Tina’s place was clean and well furnished; it had the basics like tea, microwave and toaster. Note it isn’t a kitchen per se, just enough to get by. The bed was comfortable and had an extra blanket available.

  • Great place for a little trip to the Bay Area! I love how great the communication is and Tina was very accommodating!

  • Tina’s place is the perfect spot if you don’t mind small quarters. What you see in the photos is accurate!Clean, great location, easy parking, great amenities, safe, and walking distance to an abundance of places! I didn’t want to leave! Great communication too!

  • Small but clean place. Awkward layout makes lighting a bit strange. Overall a good place to stay.

    Richard2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • we loved staying at Tina's place. We were there visiting our son and daughter-in-law for the first time and really just wanted to place to sleep that was clean and comfortable. Most of our time was spent with them but their place was not big enough for all of us. Tina's place was exactly as described no surprises. Slept well.

  • Lovely house, quiet area, everything is thought out and good location, about 30 minutes to the center of San Francisco. The only drawback is water, a very weak pressure and while it warms up, wait at least a minute.

  • Great apartment in a super location with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom, great living room and kitchen. Ramil was really helpful and we will definitely stay there again!

    Emily2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is large, very clean and in a quiet beautiful neighborhood close to parks and the beach. My parents stayed here to visit and have come to Alameda often and stayed in the hotels and other Air BnBs but after staying at this apartment for over a week it will be their new go-to place anytime it’s available. The hosts are very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

    Dustin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ramil’s place was the first stop on me and my coworkers west coast express trip and by far the best of the best when it came to our choices, easy guy to work with, easy check in process, house was spacious and amazing, provides snacks for us upon arrival. Everything was perfect, no cons about our stay at all :)

  • What a lovely space, with luxurious amenities. Great towels and sheets, stylish decor, and everything you need. I'll definitely come back!

    Kim2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem of a place! After living in the Bay Area for several years, our family makes at least an annual visit back. We have loved staying in Alameda before, but this place was by far the best we’ve stayed in. The house is incredible and the location cannot be beat. We walked everywhere, and I loved being able to run on the beach every morning. The proximity to playgrounds and shops cannot be beat for families with young children. Can’t wait to visit again!

    Jessica2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean place. Great stay! Worth the money! Will stay again when I’m in San Francisco

    Telease2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is soo adorable! The decor is amazing! And I think it’s safe to say this place has everything I didn’t know I needed until I got there. Forgot to bring towels. And there was extra towels for us. Ran to the store to grab the kids ice cream. (I forgot spoons) and Voila!! There was sure enough spoons in there for us to enjoy. I know these are simple things but I didn’t expect them to be THIS accommodating. It was more than JUST a place to stay with a full kitchen I felt like I was home! Lol Very calm atmosphere. It was more than enough room for everyone to spread out. They also have the cutest backyard ever. I was a bit nervous because I’ve never been to Oakland before so I was worried about picking the right area. But this neighborhood is nice and quiet friendly neighbors. Hardly any traffic. Communication was very quick and getting the keys was a very easy process. I already plan on rebooking with Regine and Jan when I come back. Thank you for having us!

    LeAndria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Pristine Perfect Regine & Jan’s home is an ideal place to stay in Alameda. It is located in a nice neighborhood, just a three block walk away from a pleasant street with many shops and restaurants. The off-street parking is nice, and attractions my wife and I visited; Starbucks, Anytime Fitness, Forbidden Island Tiki, Trabocco Kitchen restaurant (A+), beach park and the USS Hornet museum are only half-mile to two miles away. It was an ideal central location for our visits to a concert in San Rafael, the Presidio, San Francisco and the USS Hornet. uss-hornet dot org But the BEST FEATURE is the house itself. Although it’s a classic older home, the complete update remodel made it virtually brand new everywhere - inside and outside. Modern appliances, utilities, excellent fast internet, new furnishings, perfectly clean and well maintained. Pristine! Easy lockbox check in. A perfect stay! Regine & Jan were excellent in communications via AirBnB emails and made us feel at home. Loved the guitar, it even knew most of the songs I can play. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Alameda. Loved it! Jake n Joan Jacobs ps: After returning home I asked my wife what she liked best about our trip to the Bay Area. She responded, "If I could choose only one #1 favorite thing that we did on the trip, it would be staying in this wonderful house". Next time we need to stay longer.

  • What a beautiful house! Sparkling clean and nicely furnished. The home had everything I needed. The kitchen was great, beds were comfy, and the living areas were nicely done. Regine and Jan were so helpful and quick to respond when I had a question. This was my first Airbnb stay and I was really happy with it! Barbara, San Diego, CA

  • This is a 6 star house. Richard’s house is beautiful. Our bedroom was big with a really comfy bed, and a spacious area for us to leave our bags. Richard had glasses of water waiting for us on our arrival, and in the morning gave us access to tea, coffee, breakfast (granola, oatmeal, yogurt, milk). Richard also had a booklet in our room that provided information about his house and the area (eg places to eat). This is testament to the fact that Richard is an extremely kind and considerate man, and had amazing communication with us throughout our stay and helped out whenever necessary. His place is also very close to public transport (buses within 3-5 mins walking). If you decide to stay with Richard, I can 100% guarantee you will not be disappointed. Thank you Richard and happy new year.

    Todd2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Richard house is typical victorian style , very nice and well designed. Richard is very considerate, thank you for playing music and preparing coffee for us in the morning.

    Yaling2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Richard's place on Mozart St. It is a beautiful home on a quiet street of other lovely Victorians. It was fun to walk around and just look at them all, especially at Christmas time with many of them decorated with lights. We loved Alameda as a home base for a few days while visiting our son in Oakland. It is a charming, neighborhoody kind of place, with many great places to eat on Webster Street, just a few blocks away. Richard is a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. His home is cozy and warm and clean and beautifully decorated. The bed is super comfy too. Richard left out some breakfast items for us each day, as well as coffee and tea which were a nice touch. He was helpful with maps and ideas of things to do. Overall it was a great stay and we hope to stay there again in the future.

  • We couldn't have picked a better 'home away from home' than Richard's charming Victorian house. My hubby and I stayed a week at beautiful and quiet neighbourhood of Alameda than crowded SF. Public transport (buses to SF/Oakland) is just a short walk away from Richard's place and there're number of places to get a good food and groceries all within walking distance. Richard is an amazing, wonderful and accommodating host. He really made us feel right at home. Thank you so much Richard for having us! If ever you decide to visit Down Under (Perth), please let us know! God bless! Warmest regards, Chantel and Jeen

  • We loved this house! The 4 of us (myself, my husband and my two teenage boys) found it a really relaxing space at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Steve is very organized and everything in the kitchen is labelled so you can find things quickly. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen with great knives and pans and spices and tea for us to use! We also loved the family friendly neighborhood, I felt really happy jogging along the shore that's really close to the house. Highly recommended.

  • In this house you will find what you need for a comfortable stay, plus you will be within easy walking distance to many restaurants and the park. Steven provides an easy to follow manual so all your questions are answered. Plus the photos on AirBNB's site give an accurate view of what you will find when you open the door. • Wonderful location in charming Alameda. Just a few blocks from Park Street. We walked to see a movie at the historic Alameda Cinema, and enjoyed meals at several of the diverse restaurants the area has to offer. Three of us were very comfortable in the loft. The fireplace was such a treat during the chilly winter nights. I'd love to visit again during the summer and make use of the patio and BBQ. Michael was a great host. He texted the day after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn't need a thing though, and truly enjoyed our holiday stay.

Welcome to The "Grandma Room"! We joke that we call it that because it's close to the bathroom, but really, it may one day, be home to a beloved Grandma. This is the smallest, coziest bedroom in the house.
The Island of Alameda is soon to lose its "Secret Place" status. Block after block of beautiful historic homes and buildings, many pre-date the 1906 Earthquake. We've been loving it here for 20 some years and many of the residents are the 3rd or 4th generation in their homes. Who can blame them! Ours is a quiet and safe neighborhood. Take advantage of the fresh air and sleep with an open window! Here’s a short video to display some of Alameda’s charm; https://youtu.be/2bxsaEXbSiw
  • Can’t say enough good things about this place - wonderful hosts, a large common space with TV, turntable, and well-stocked lending library, whimsical thoughtful touches throughout, and a block from the bus. Be sure to check out The Blue Dot down the street for wonderful breakfast or lunch.

    Kris2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in fantastic location. Very comfortable bed, bikes for rent and breakfast, loved my stay here!!

    Lucy2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed three nights in the "Grandma" room and had a pleasant and restful stay. The bedroom, the shared bathroom and the kitchen/dining/living room was clean. I used the refrigerator, dining table and watched a little local tv while I was there. Always arrived after 6pm and was able to find that last street parking spot to park near the house. I would definitely book again but next time I might try the bigger room.

    Leonard2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I stayed in the Grandma Room for a full week. We had pretty packed days planned with family/or in the city, so we usually left early and came back well after dark for bed, but Karen's place provided us with a quiet slice of sanctuary throughout the hectic holidays. I found the place to be exactly as it is in the listing: quirky, small, clean, and with some nice amenities to get you going in the morning (tea, fruit, etc). Although I never saw/met Karen, she was extremely responsive to messages and we had no complaints. She also provided very helpful instructions on saving money for public transit! For our purposes, we were within walking distance of nearby family and easily found our way into Oakland/SF using public transit when we wanted to. The other excellent host that we did have the pleasure of meeting was Domino the cat, who proved to be a perfect gentleman and scholar. He greeted us most mornings in the garden for pets, which was an excellent way to start the day! Cat lovers rejoice! In summary, I highly recommend staying here for a Bay Area trip!

  • Great place to stay if you want to see San Francisco. The city bus is just around the corner or you can go by ferry and enjoy a high speed ferry ride into San Francisco. It is a quiet neighborhood and easy place to park if you drive. We never used our car again. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and have all kinds of advice for enjoying your stay in San Francisco. I will recommend to my family and best friends as a place to stay on a San Francisco trip. If you ride bikes, take a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge! Have Fun! Kevin & Joyce O'Brien

Transportation is very convenient. The bus to San Francisco and the Bart system is two blocks and a 5-minute walk from the home.
  • I just adore staying at Jacque’s place. It is an amazing mansion, the room is decorated in the full Victorian style. It is so luxurious, you can’t find a better spot in Alameda. This is my second time staying hete. Jacque is so friendly and attentive.

  • Beautiful room in a gorgeous old Victorian home.

    MaryLee2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay! The room was beautiful, full of charm, and with everything we would need for a restful, quiet stay. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and it was just as lovely as we remembered! We were lucky to find Jacque's place at the spur of the moment. We had a lovely place up north, but the weather turned very stormy, and we are an older couple, not wanting cross the bridge late at night. Our family lives in Alameda, so it was very helpful to move a little closer. Jacque was very kind to host us at the spur of the moment! And she was great to communicate with us. We had a little fridge, coffee (Keurig) and tea, nice closet & dresser for our clothes, large tv, beautiful, clean bathroom with fabulous towels, and the queen bed was great! Parking was easy on the street right in front of the house. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Jacque, for your wonderful hospitality!

    Diane2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful visit! Jacque provided everything I needed to ensure my stay was lovely. I especially appreciated the cosy bathrobe and ultra comfy bed! Her dogs are super friendly and enjoyed my attention. Hope to come for another visit!

  • Charming Victorian home in a Alameda, CA. Everything you would want to feel like you really are on vacation.

    Sylvia2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I loved our stay at this beautiful Victorian home! The space is full of character and in addition to our wonderful host it was always a plus to be greeted by the sweet dogs that roamed the household also. Jacqueline is a great host who was easy to reach and communicate with and always took the extra step to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Definitely did everything to make her home feel like ours for the week we were visiting!

    Daniel2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jacque went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She wasn’t in the country and the booking was somehow made in error but she still allowed us to stay in her Airbnb. She even refunded 100 dollars because of the mild inconvenience (in reality it was no inconvenience at all, we were able to check in smoothly and the room had already been cleaned by her cleaning lady). She has a beautiful house. There is ample free street parking in front of the house and you are a quick ride away from the BART station that can take you to SF downtown. She does have two old (very cute) dogs but they do not really bother you at all and do not enter your room. Me and my wife are really grateful to Jacqueline and will stay here next time we come to San Francisco.

    Umar2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely home, room, and amenities. Everything seemed like the host did her best to make the room comfy and clean. Having lived in an older home, we expected the stairs and creaks that go with it. A great stay!

This charming 370 sqft waterfront studio has water views on three sides. Located in a safe quiet neighborhood with easy access to Bart and Bus and plenty of street parking. Whether inside at the table or outside on the deck, you can watch the Cal Crew team row by and relax on the Oakland Estuary. Our family home is in front and this detached studio is in our backyard with private entrance. You'll share access to our beautiful deck with water views and our hot tub and outdoor shower.
Oct 27 2019 - Yes We Have Power! There are fewer than a hundred properties in the entire East Bay like the ones along this part of Alameda. The historic boathouses (like this studio) were originally built starting in the 1930s shortly after the Army Corp dug the channel behind our home - that channel turned Alameda from a peninsula into an island. The boathouse is cozy, bright, and has beautiful views. We've had dozens of our friends and family stay with us over the past few years and now we're excited to share the Boathouse with you. (By the way, the boathouse is not a boat, it's a free standing house located on a large concrete deck over the water). The boathouse includes one queen bed which is separated from the main living space by a partial wall and one full futon. The kitchenette has coffee supplies, toaster, microwave, and sink (no stove). The bathroom has a stand up shower, toilet, and sink/vanity along with a large closet. New in 2019: Brand new BedBoss Rujevante Hybrid Mattress - incredibly comfortable. New folding futon in the living area.
Alameda is the Bay Area's super cute beach community, with gorgeous trees, beaches, historic shopping areas, and plenty of friendly people. You are incredibly close to Oakland airport (OAK) and to the Oakland Coliseum, as well as Downtown Oakland.

  • Adam and Theresia’s boathouse was a very nice place to stay for a quick getaway. It was clean and comfortably furnished. The view of the drawbridge and the passing boats was splendid. Both their dog and the chickens were mellow. I enjoyed a 25 minute walk to downtown, which had a number of nice restaurants. The Burma Superstar had great food. I can see why Adam and Theresia are superhosts. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

  • We enjoyed an island of peace and super-comfy bed on the island of Alameda. Absolutely clean and everything we needed, our hosts were always responsive and also generous in amenities left to welcome us. We plan to come back!

  • This was the perfect little getaway spot for a solo vacay. The hosts were great and I loved the location. I will be back!

  • We had a wonderful stay at the boathouse!

    Haw-Bin2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • The boathouse studio has a fabulous location as close to the water as you can get. The sunrise is spectacular with the combination of sun, clouds, bridge and water. It is private, cozy, comfortable, and bright with windows and sliders. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with lots of extras that make it feel like home. Really enjoyed this facility and will definitely be back when I return to Alameda! Definitely a gem!

    Joan2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Adam's place is a little hidden oasis in a quiet residential neighborhood along an industrial channel frequented mainly by rowing teams. The photos and descriptions about the space were accurate. The noise of cars going over the nearby drawbridge was noticeable at times, but it also provided a pleasant background sound with steady traffic. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to urban sounds. Otherwise, it is part of the special ambiance that this location offers. Would definitely return.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay in this roomy and comfortable downstairs apartment. The location is great and the street, filled with Victorians, is a jewel. Only word of caution is to those over 6'2": take care not to hit your head on the head of the door frame into the bedroom.

The greenest room in the house; it has a bit of history...ask me about it. Whatever you do, though, don't ask about the "Secret Room"!
Here’s a short video to display some of Alameda’s charm; https://youtu.be/2bxsaEXbSiw
  • Excellent place... feels so homey and the feeling is lovely

    Linda2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place feels like home away from home. One of my most favorite parts about staying at her place is the perfect cotton bedding as I am a stickler for crisp, clean sheets and blankets. Whenever we visit the area, Karen's place is our top choice.

    Dana2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Simply all around good with Karen and Gene. Great, quiet location, good transport links to San Francisco, cozy room (green room), everything was there for a great breakfast, very well equipped kitchen, large bathroom, lots of towels and toiletries, cozy bathrobes, fresh fruit, good tips for things to do , fast and uncomplicated communication ....... It will hardly get any better. I would come back in a heartbeat!

    Brigitte2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Karen & Gene are wonderful people who are very attentive to their guests and have great suggestions for what you are looking for. The spaces were kept very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Definitely recommend their place for all stays because Karen is very accommodating.

    Jaqueline2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We could not have been more pleased with our stay. We hope to stay again in the future.

    Helen2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and Gene are wonderful hosts and the house is just beautiful. The rooms have cute and quirky decor that I so love, with thoughtful additions to make the stay welcoming and comfortable. And the memory foam bed and duck down pillows are to die for! We were also extremely lucky they could accommodate us an extra night at last minute. Domino the cat was a lovely and affectionate addition. Definitely recommend for families.

    Nicki2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and Gene have made our vacation perfect. The house is beautiful, stylish and very very clean ...... so clean we have rarely experienced. We traveled with a child (6 years) and he felt very well ..... he did not want to leave. You definitely have your privacy but there is always someone to talk to, Karen always responds when you have problems or questions. The area seemed very safe but that's Alameda I think in general. We never felt unsafe there. Conclusion ..... in any case, the accommodation is recommended .... there is still the original idea of Airbnb and because of such hosts, we will continue to use Airbnb and if we are in the area again come back to Karen and Gene.

    Thomas2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place to stay, in a quiet area a little outside of SF. We could park our rental car in the street without problems. Nice hosts which give you a good privacy, cosy rooms. Would definitely come again !

This listing is for a cozy, well-appointed bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom with a shower and bathtub in a townhouse shared with the host, myself. The house is three blocks from the beach and two blocks from public transportation to the airport or BART. We are also two blocks from Trader Joe's, Walgreens and Alameda's Park Street, with great boutiques and restaurants.
The space includes a sunny, private bedroom and bathroom with a tub and shower and a comfortable queen-sized bed. the bedroom also has a writing desk with a lamp and a well-appointed bookshelf, which you are welcome to peruse and borrow from. There is also access to a kitchen with a fridge, laundry, and a comfortable living room where you are welcome to watch Netflix or Amazon prime.
The East End of Alamed is a charming mix of Old Victorian Lumber and Rail Baron homes and early 20th century craftsmans. We are one block off of Park Street, which boasts numerous restaurants and shops, spas, salons, and antiques stores. The house is three blocks from Crown Memorial State Beach, with gorgeous views of the San Francisco Bay and Downtown San Francisco. The beach is a beautiful spot for a stroll year round, and a swim in the warmer, less windy months. Kite boarders and wind-surfers (and those wanting to learn) will be pleased to note that Alameda is one of the best places in the Bay for wind-and-water sport.

SFO: 60-90 min. Guests often take the ferry. Free street parking. Check-in & checkout often flexible--check w/host in advance! Car strongly recommended, not required. Also: https://airbnb.com/h/bayviews
[From our wonderful guests] December 2019 "Beautiful, enchanting guest house with great views of the beach. Vibe is great and you have your own space." [Welcome] The Green Dragon Guest House is not for everyone, but for those whom it is for, it may be exactly what you are looking for: A moderate price for a relaxing, gentle place to stay (including organic soaps, bathrobes and a truly comfortable bed) in a neighborhood that has all the amenities you need, plus immediate access to one of the only beaches in the SF Bay Area.
There are also a number of restaurants in walking distance including a Chipotle Mexican Grill and a great sushi restaurant. The Trabacco Restaurant serves elegant rustic Italian, perfect for a special night out followed by a walk home.
  • I definitely recommend this place. Beautiful! Marcus is an excellent host!

    Geronimo2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I had a very restful and peaceful stay at Markus's place. Checkin was easy and his instructions were clear. I stayed three nights in a row. The whole place was clean, was able to use the kitchen to prepare a meal, and walked to the nearby stores and restaurants. This place is as advertised. I got lucky with the parking and was able to park within view of the room along the nearby road. I arrived around 6pm every night fyi. Do pay attention to his instruction online. During my stay there was one other occupant in the other bedroom but we hardly ran into each other. Would definitely come back again.

    Leonard2020-01-09T00:00:00Z

Located in a residential area, we're centrally located--close to the beach, marina, and restaurants. You’ll love the comfy bed, the high ceilings, and peacefulness. My place is good for adventurers and business travelers. We respectfully ask that you book elsewhere if you have animals because we are highly allergic. House is not child-proof and inappropriate for guests with children. We have repeat business travelers who depend on a quiet atmosphere.
This is a room located in a light-filled, upper flat in a residential neighborhood. There is a shared bathroom, shared kitchen for light meal prep, and a living room with a TV with local channels. I live on site.
This is a lovely small city to walk or bike. Free street parking is available outside the house.
  • I have stayed here many times - this is a great place! Communication is always quick and clear, and the place is easy to access and very comfortable. Highly recommended!
