One out of our five delicately renovated apartments located on the second floor of a charming, characterful farmhouse. It is one of the oldest buildings of a cosy little village in the Valle d’Isarco in Northern Italy. We find ourselves right in the center of sun-blessed South Tyrol, on a hilltop at the entrance of the Gardena and Funes valleys. Almhütte Hausberger

100 years old log house, which was demolished in 2008 in the neighboring village and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Special care was taken with regard to the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, waste wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The cosy little house (75m²) served us for 10 years as a residence.

Our small apartment offers the perfect starting point to discover Krimml and the entire Zillertal. It is located in the middle of the village - a supermarket, restaurants and a bakery are within walking distance. The Krimml waterfalls are only 10 min walk away. The ski bus to Zillertal stops about a 5 min walk away. By car it takes about 10 minutes to get to the nearest lift. A freely accessible ski cellar is also located in the house.

Farm stay at 1098m altitude

The apartment is located on a small plateau at 1098 meters on the sunny side of the Zillertal. Great view of the Zillertal. The whole house was rebuilt in 2010. Quiet location, farm with goats, pony, playground, many hiking trails, bike rides or just enjoy the beautiful view. In winter, slides, tobogganing, tours, snowshoeing. We have over 50 bee colonies on our lands, as well as many beekeeping products with tasting.
