We were only overnighting so a quick trip but the accommodation at Symington's Hill is exemplary. We would like to return and further explore Junee as there is much to see there. Every attention to detail makes this home a must stay if you're in the area. Thank you to the lovely hosts Bobbie Col & Franky.

The facilities were historical, interesting and excellently maintained. The hosts were just tremendous - welcoming, friendly, helpful and interesting. Junee was tremendous with the Licorice factory a highlight as well as Roundhouse museum. We highly recommend a stay here at the beautiful "Symington's Hill".

Bobbie, Col and their dog Franky made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The house is absolutely gorgeous with luxury bedrooms, spa, swimming pool and cooking and BBQ facilities. Bobbie even provided dressing gowns, swimming towels and slippers for each guest. I have to say Bobbie's place is much more impressive than the photos online. I highly recommend Symington's Hill to anyone looking to stay in Junee.

Bobbie/Col's place is a fantastic house located in Junee. It is well kept and has a lot of character! Pool, spa, grill, and awesome garden to spend the afternoons. Bobbie and Col, they are very hospitable and knowledgable. Would definitely stay with them again if I'm coming through Junee. Bring treats for Franky the dog! :)

This is a beautiful 19th century house with all mod cons including a pool and a huge bathtub. A perfect stopover in rural NSW.

What an amazing place to stay! Brooke and her beautiful dogs welcomed me and my dog and showed us to the tipi. It's so glamorous! Brooke had it set up beautifully, even had nibbles for me and treats for my dog. My dog loved exploring the river and we both walked up the hill to enjoy the sunset. We even saw a kangaroo. When we got back to the tipi all the fairy lights were glowing and it looked amazing. A fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a drink. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I will definitely be back. Brooke's stay was great. We enjoyed being out on the farm, kicking back with a fire in the evening under the stars and then staying in our Tipi. What a great experience. We took our 2 dogs who also had a ball. It's a small drive to Wagga which we went and checked out during the day. If you're looking for a fun little get away then give Brooke's a try. We really loved the welcome gift of honey too.

Angela was a lovely, warm and easy going host. She allowed us to book at short notice. Even though we were only there a short time we had a nice time. They have a beautiful house with an awesome view.

Great place to stay whilst visiting Wagga. Close enough to town it's easy to quickly drive in, however also out in the country side with great views overlooking the area. Friendly, easy-going family, with lots of adorable animals. Only downside was the very thin walls, could hear literally everything from the neighbouring rooms. Didn't bother me so much, but if you where a light sleeper it could be a problem.

Fantastic as a first Airbnb experience! Amanda and Chris are very friendly and flexible....we loved the acreage, the swimming pool appears to be in the heaven (even though we didnt have time or inclination to get into the pool at sub zero temp)! We aslo loved their pets...all rescued and treated like family. Although, initially, a common use kitchen and entry seem to make it a less private experience, it was upto us how private we made the stay....we got talking to Amanda and (URL HIDDEN) all good. Only two suggestions for improvement are to have a better address discription on the air bnb site and perhaps discussing if supplies needes for tea bags milk etc so they can either be stocked upfront or purchased by guests before coming.

Host was very accommodating and welcoming. Best bed and nights sleep ever! Would highly recommend.

We didn't get to actually meet the host, Angela due to a busy schedule and a short stay, instead we communicated via airbnb texts and that's all we needed. I felt the place is actually much better than photos listed. We loved the room, spacious, warm and cosy. The animals are very welcoming. The room has got an amazing view, especially in the morning. The whole place is very clean and tidy. Everything is there ready. Only issue we had was the house internal soundproof but again, for a short stay It wasn't a big deal.

Very hospitable, friendly people. Both Chris and Angela did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. My grand daughter enjoyed our walk around the farm as did I.

Lou and Jonty were fabulous hosts! They provided us with great information and insights into Wagga life, ahead of our move to the area. The cottage was picturesque and the perfect distance from town. It was so peaceful there and our toddler loved the gardens but it was still nice and close to easily get to the centre of town. The kitchen was nice and big and well-equipped and we cooked a meal or two there. As with any accommodation that's not your own home just keep in mind that child-proofing will not be the same as what you are used to and this property is close to the river (the view is lovely).

Lou our wonderful host made us feel very welcome with some freshly baked bread, delicious boysenberry jam and eggs straight from the hen house delivered personally. My sister and I were delighted with such great country hospitality. The cottage was also delightful set amongst the trees on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. It was warm and cosy with a large well equipped kitchen which we enjoyed cooking in. We certainly recommend this country gem.

The place was vintage yet tidy and more than enough room for the 4 of us. We loved the quiet nature of this place, allowing us to experience serenity, which was exactly what we wanted when we escaped the hustle and bustle of Sydney. Early morning egg collection from the farm, the peacocks, the river behind and most importantly the cute canines - Archie and Flo, made us realise what we're actually missing by living in Sydney. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would love to do it again soon.

Lou and Jonti were very kind and considerate hosts who respected our privacy. It was a pleasure to stay on their property and to enjoy the peace and harmony of the surrounds. Accommodation was exactly as depicted and was both clean and comfortable. Both hosts were on hand to chat with iand on our case rightly allowed us to make the approach which we enjoyed being able to do.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It had all the creature comforts we needed. Great kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. We were worried it may be cold as we were staying in winter but the place warmed up in no time with the reverse cycle heater. It was very cosy. Enjoyed the fresh bread and the eggs and home made jam provided for our breakfast - it was a special bonus.

This is a wonderful place - the location, rooms, Bernadette's hospitality (and the special touches and care with which she put together breakfast, the lovely jug of lemon water, etc). The rooms and bathroom are lovely - very comfortable, beautifully styled and furnished, and well appointed looking out over the garden. Just outside the town of Wagga, it's peaceful and quiet. We would have loved to stay longer to recharge here! My teenage children were equally enchanted by this lovely place. We look forward to staying here again when next in Wagga.

Bernadette's place at Gumly Gumly was just lovely, place has a great feel to it and myself and my 3 children had a fantastic stay. Bernadette made us feel welcome and went above and beyond what was expected. Rooms have a new, fresh feel and are private from the rest of the house. Beautiful gardens, trees and bird-life with the added bonus of a short stroll to the magnificent Murrumbidgee River!!! I recommend it and would most definitely stay again should we be this way again.

I had a very comfortable stay. The room is nice and quiet and Dom was very helpful and forthcoming. There's a great swimming pool nearby, and I got to see kangaroos right next to my place. Be aware that this is on university campus, about 8km from central Wagga Wagga. A bus service exists, but it is limited on Saturdays and doesn't run on Sundays.

I came to stay in Wagga within the College while I attended on site classes at Charles Sturt Uni. This was a fantastic place to stay- lovely, clean, well heated, and the students in the college that I can across were very friendly and considerate. The room was very well serviced-I've never had such fresh sheets and clean towels for a 2 week stay anywhere!I only wish it was available to stay at the next time I come to wagga!

We had the loveliest stay with Rachel and Rob. They were so kind and welcoming to us and their annex and house is beautiful. We loved their dogs and the location is perfect. We would absolutely recommend staying with them- they were really wonderful hosts. Thank you Rachel and Rob, we would love to come back and stay with you again.

Rachel has a very nice place in north wagga. Her place was clean and well supplied. we were Rachel's first AIRBNB guest and she did a fantastic job. she kept in-touch via email and text messages to make sure we had no issues finding her place. Rachel also had a well supplied kitchenette with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, orange juice. fruits, mineral water, biscuits, honey, jam, butter, peanut butter, bread, yogurt, cereals, just to name a few. All of products were high quality organically grown or sourced. The shower and bathroom area is huge, as seen in the photos with quality toiletries products. She also gave us information about good places to eat in town. We would highly recommend Rachel as a AIRBNB host.

Rachel was a wonderful host, very accommodating with our two year old son supplying toys and a bike to ride during our stay! We had a lovely stay, the property is very clean, super comfy beds, convenient location and a tasty breakfast.

Rob met us on arrival and settled us in. No problems, all questions answered. The apartment was well furnished and deal for our overnight stay in Wagga Wagga. Only a short drive into town. Rural location, very quiet and peaceful. Racheal's home made short bread is highly recommended!

The accommodation was nicer than what it looked like in the pictures. The space wasn't huge but it was nice and cosy for my boyfriend and I. We loved our stay here! The pantry and cupboard were full of all sorts of delicious foods, teas, spreads etc. that we could use. The accommodation just seemed to have everything to make it a nice and comfortable stay! There were even perfume bottles on the shelf we put on as we were heading out to a wedding :) There were beautiful soaps, soft and comfy towels and robs my boyfriend and I used whilst having a relaxing time in the beautiful and big relaxing spa bath :) Thank you Rachel!

They were very accommodating and helpful. Opened up their pool for use & provided biscuits, fresh fruit, coffee and on for breakfast. It was a beautiful stay off the beaten path.

Our stay at Rachel's home was great! It was comfortable and clean, in a very quiet area of North Wagga, but only a few minute drive from the main town. Rachel's restaurant tips were awesome, and as it was a hot week she graciously offered for us to use her pool! If we're ever back in Wagga, we'll definitely stay here again :)

It was fantastic everything I needed a little home away from home, was better then i first expected. Rachelle was a great host very friendly and was very helpful when i needed, and when i didn't need anything it was like she wasn't there, it has very beautiful surrounds and even though i drove the car as it was raining it would b a nice walk n not far to main street. Also be able to have Tonka (the dog) stay as well was awesome, 10/10 recommend staying here. deff booking again so thanx again n see you soon

The Shouse located in quiet neighbourhood and short drive to centre of Wagga Wagga.( I actually walked to the centre!) It was super convenient! The house had everything I need for my self and my dog. You get complete privacy and private entrance. The host Rachell was friendly and very helpful. And Gizzy was such a well mannered, happy dog and got along with my dog very well also! Thank you again!

Delightful young man showing initiative to share his brand new home. We felt like it was a visit with family. Martin very relaxed along with the resident cat & dog who were very entertaining. If your looking for somewhere close to Uni this is your place, however still an easy drive into town. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay, the house is brand new and has all the facilities you'd ever need. Good location, only 5-10mins out of the city centre. Martin was very accommodating to my arrival time. I can't recommend this stay highly enough if you're in the area.

Great place with lovely people!

We (2 couples and an infant) came down to Wagga Wagga to visit family and stayed at Sara's place. Checking in was super easy, communication very efficient and the place was so clean and very fresh. We were all a bit worried about Wagga being a bit cold at this time of year, but the place was very warm. It was perfect for what we needed and certainly close enough to town (5 min drive). We were all very happy with our stay.

Perfect house for family or friend stays, 3 bedrooms all with big comfy beds. Was super clean and not cluttered giving you room to feel at home.

Lovely, clean, new property about 5 minutes from the town centre of Wagga Wagga. Lots of room. Perfect for a small group of family or friends.

Sara's place was on the outskirts of Wagga in a quiet new housing estate The house and furnishings are lovely and the outdoor area will improve with more time - brand new. The only comment we would make is that you really need a car to commute in and out of Wagga Wagga as there is no attractions around the immediate vicinity though

An absolute gem of a find. We felt very at home here and didn't want to leave. It's comfortable yet spacious, central yet quiet. Absolutely loved the little touches that you only get from a great country host; beautiful quilts and the delicious homemade jams. Photos don't do it justice. We hope to be back.

Perfect stop between Melbourne and Sydney. Jenny's place felt like home everything you needed was there. The location was fantastic we walked to dinner and walked to the river for a swim in the morning.

Wow . . I loved this little private flat! It was lovely and it came with a basket of goodies for breakfast, and even homemade jam. It's very comfy and close to the city centre and the river . . highly recommended!

A terrific place to stay if visiting Wagga Wagga. We only stayed overnight but it would be perfect for longer stays as well. The apartment is very comfortable and well furnished. A very comfortable queen size bed and very quiet surroundings. The apartment, while being in an older building is a delightful mix of old and new. Jenny has it fully fitted out with everything that you would need for a stay - including a container of home made frozen soup if you happen to arrive late. We would definitely stay again as the apartment is close to town and terrific value.

This is a PERFECT stay. A beautiful place with some heritage and the host was perfect. A great breakfast was provided. The building is a classic, access is very easy, parking works out just fine and it is a walk to many great restaurants and 'pubs'. We would stay there again for sure. There is plenty of hot water, a great bed, and virtually everything else you could ever need is in the unit / apartment / flat. It is very well catered by the host, right up to the home made jams for the toast. We could not eat it all! Parking is right out front, you cannot be there for more than 2 hours during the day, but you are probably out and about. Park at 4 and you can stay over night. It is just excellent.

Erica had left a great spread of food for breakfast and snacks and this property was certainly great value, our family of 4 were comfortable for the night. There was no bin inside and not enough toilet paper - only things letting it down!

This was better than a US motel 6...it had a nice kitchen and bathroom as well as excellent internet...located close to town center was also a plus.

The name says it: cute and cosy. The place is small, and simple, and had everything we needed (even a few extras in the kitchen). It's great value for the money and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Erica picked us up at the train station and gave us the lay of the land with a couple of helpful suggestions of shops and restaurants. Plenty of storage space, the wifi was great, the water was hot, and the fresh milk appreciated.

Very happy with our stay in Wagga Wagga. The location was surprisingly close to everything. 5 min drive, or a lovely 15-20minute scenic stroll into town. 11minute drive to the Kapooka base car park which made it convenient for us on the morning of the Kapooka March out parade. We arrived at midnight and the communication with the Riverina Hotel made our late checkin very easy. The house was cosy and had plenty of space for my large family. Will definitely stay here again and recommend highly to those looking for a great place with great value!

The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable with a great kitchen and super comfortable beds. What a wonderful apartment in the heart if Wagga. I could walk everywhere in town including restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. The apartment backs onto the river with a great running/bike track which was a great way to start the day. Would defiantly stay again!

Super cute apartment! Beautifully decorated and drenched in sunlight. Close to everything, we were able to walk to the art gallery, river and cafes & bars on the Main Street. Lately was an excellent host and very accomodating. We will stay again next time in WW!
