Exceptional welcome, Chandana could not welcome us better, always very attentive, very cheerful. It was a real pleasure. Very generous meal, really well cooked and very good breakfast too! The pretty and clean room, superb swimming pool and the evening sunset right in front of the room ☀️ I recommend staying at the Reef Bungalow without hesitation!

This accommodation is very convenient when you arrive or when you leave Sri Lanka because it is 20 30 min by car from the airport. The sea view is magnificent and the employee received us very well even in 2 hour advance. Meals on site are delicious. We recommend.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet after or before your flight to Colombo. The place is located about 20min from the airport by tuk tuk so we enjoyed a great relaxing day by the pool before having to travel. The hospitality was outstanding and really made our stay special :)

Very good place for holiday

Everything was perfect at Sam's home. Unfortunately you cannot go into the sea as the coast is very rocky in this area. The cook and his assistant cooked us very tasty and met all needs. We recommend.

Sam’s place is amazing! We have been in Sri Lanka for three weeks and hands down had the best experience here. The chef is awesome!! I’d suggest staying here at the end of your trip, as we stayed here first and every culinary experience after was a disappointment. Sam is a great host, he did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and easy and worked with our schedule. Sam took us to the Negombo fish market and helped us pick out fish for our dinners. Use his driver Darshana for any outings too!

My family and I were relaxing in Sam’s villa in November. We were 12 days! This is a super host who is always in touch, always ready to help. Everything in the house is neat and comfortable, we had very good communication with Sarath as well. The hot water and air conditioner is very good, so does the big and clean kitchen.Highly recommend!

Sarath lives within 20 minutes drive of the airport, very convenient for my last day in Sri Lanka. It is not a particularly attractive area, although the house and small garden is beautiful and well cared for. Sarath was very kind, suggesting places to visit, providing me with refreshment and dinner. He also very kindly took me to the airport in the early hours of the morning. The cost for these extras was very reasonable.

Since the plane arrived at 10pm, it was already very late when we arrived. The steward was very good. He met us and brought us cold fruit juice. Although the location is a little far from the Negombo fish market, we are also chartered. Fortunately, the room is facing the sea, and the butler's breakfast is very good ~

The villa is beautiful and sits on a quiet patch just on the lagoon. I was treated to fireworks from a hotel across the water on my first night not to mention the delightful scene of planes taking off and landing at nearby Colombo Airport. Lots of beautiful birds also stopped by to say hello as I sat on the back terrace. Nimal is a lovely human being. Super humble and gracious, willing to help in whatever way he can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. He even helped me book the rest of my trip in Sri Lanka! He is also a great cook and can prepare any dish you like and always does it with a smile. This is a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Colombo, but close enough to many other markets, restaurants, resorts and spas off the beaten path. I would highly recommend a stay here and will book again on my return to Sri Lanka.

A relaxing place to stay with fantastic food and service. To just sit on the veranda looking at the lagoon was so peaceful. We would like to visit again.

Super great! It is a very good villa with stories. really like! Housekeeper nimal is great! ! ! The meal I made was so delicious, especially responsible. Especially have a feeling of home.

Our stay at Villa Nisaladiya could not have been more pleasant!! After working outdoors in stifling heat during the day, it was such a great pleasure to have very comfortable beds and A/C in the bedrooms at night. The area is serene and beautiful; the evening hours sitting on the back patio with a glass of wine watching life on the lagoon are etched into our memories. And then, there is Nimal (the chef). I cannot do justice with enough accolades for this kind and gentle man. Not only is he a fantastic chef, he's a sincerely wonderful person. He worked around our crazy schedules, made our lunches to go (and sent us off with a hug) and every morning planned the days' dinner with us, offering suggestions and shopping for the best and freshest ingredients. We even had the good fortune of private cooking lessons with Nimal, although my curry will never quite equal his. We even came home with a Sri Lanka coconut grinder! Nimal went out of his way to make our stay everything we could want and more - freshly pressed papaya juice met us each morning followed by delicious Ceylon tea and a wonderful breakfast. He even did our laundry for us which was more than we expected. We enjoyed his company so very much and hope to one day see him again. Joseph, too, was an added bonus to this trip. Not only did we enjoy his contagious smile and daily greetings, we felt safe with him around as security. He takes wonderful care of the property and is just adorable with his sarong and sandals. Both Joseph and Nimal joined our group for one of our final dinners and it was just so wonderful to share great food with their excellent company. The villa is lovely, the open garden in the middle is an added bonus to have tree frogs and squirrels pay a quick visit and the whole experience was just magical. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will most certainly book our stay at this villa. It was the trip of a lifetime for us. Many thanks to Elise for being so communicative and for sharing her home with us for our holiday.

You should absolutely stay at this beautiful house. The view over the lagoon is spectacular, it’s secluded and there is air con in every bedroom. The best bit however, was our Chef, Nimal. He was so welcoming and friendly, suggested trips for us, organised drivers and just went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. And the food he makes is so brilliant, the tastiest curries I have ever eaten. Definitely a highlight of our trip, thank you so much Nimal.

Is been such a pleasure to stayed in Elise ‘s lovely villa.The location is good, the view outside is outstanding ! The host Elise is a very nice lady, she has been very helpful, answer me a lot of questions before I arrived. Nimal and the night watch uncle was very nice and friendly, everything was just perfect.

We had such an amazing time in this place. The villa is beautiful and the attention in the details is incredible. Peaceful and spotless! It made our last day in Sri Lanka memorable, the staff was amazing and so caring ♥️ hope to be back soon...

It’s an amazing experience for us as the bangalo is nicely decorated and is so spacious with a huge garden and private sea view. Also the chef can make very nice Sri Lanka food and the housekeeper keeps the house in very clean and good conditions. Definitely I will recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a special relaxing holiday in Negombo!

It is really a paradise in Negombo. The road from airport to the villa is not very good, but when you step in the yard, trust me, it is totally worth. Sanjee and the gardener are very helpful. They help us to buy delicious seafood and arrange lagoon safari. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very beautiful and spacious house, it is well worth living. Although the road from the airport is not very good, everything is worth the moment you enter the courtyard. The housekeeper and chef Sanjee, as well as a gardener, are very friendly. Sanjee took us to buy seafood early in the morning. It was cheap and fresh. He also was responsible for cooking, but reminded them that the way they handle crabs is very different from us. They Split the crab from the middle, and brush the crab-yellow crab cream clean, haha, but fortunately the second crab we told him, do not wash it, steam it whole, there is no problem. In short, it is a very recommended place to stay.

It was a beyond expectation experience the hospitality was too good the villa is huge and really beautiful the caretaker shanta ji is a gem of a person he took care of every requirement and treated us like his own family the place was sparkling clean I would love to visit it again

This home is absolutely magical. It was the biggest surprise on our trip. We booked it hastily as we quickly needed somewhere to stay and it was, without a doubt, the highlight accommodation of the strip. The house itself is gorgeous. It's beautifully maintained and if you like luxury, you'll feel right at home. In addition the staff team are amazing. They were so thoughtful and kind and responded to our needs professionally and quickly. They were also a highlight. If you are flying into Colombo, stay here (rather than the city) it's a little piece of paradise.

Niroshini's place is better than how it looked in pics. We were a group of 8 persons stayed for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Highlights: 1. Warm swimming pool 2. All 4 sea view comfortable rooms. 3. Large Living area with functional kitchen. 4. Direct access to sea front. 5. Ample parking. Some points to keep in mind: 1. The sea outside the villa is not safe for swimming. You will love the Sunset though. 2. It would be good to have a vehicle, as utility shops are about 3-4 kms away from the Villa. This villa is worth visiting with your friends and family. Go for it. Cheers!

Great house with a beautiful pool. The owner is very helpful and the caretaker is very friendly though with limited language skill. He gave my son many sea shell as gifts and helped with our luggages. The pictures do not do the justice. It is exceed our expectations. We had a great time. The ocean and the beach right in front the courtyard. We hope that we could have stayed longer. Thank you

The place is great and the living room is huge. The pool is warm and always clean. The beach was nice but unfortunately full of plastic bottles. We can’t really swim there but the view is amazing. We got to see an amazing sunset from the beach and the house. The rooms are very spacious and have there own bathrooms which is definitely a plus. The house is located in a small village but it is not too far from Negombo or Colombo. We were happy to be able to avoid traffic by staying around. We found an amazing local restaurant few minutes away with great fish: the club restaurant. The personnel of the house was very very kind and we were even sad to leave them at the end. The cook was great and did amazing food. The owner was very easy to communicate with and has helped a lot. She also had small gifts for us when we arrived which was a very kind attention. I highly recommend this place!

Definatly worth staying here. Very friendly place. Nice pool area. And a few steps from the beach. It is a hotel style place and expect it as such. Good breakfast and great restaurant for dinner. As of this review there is no warm water in the showers or sinks. They are renovating the place. We still recommend staying here. We loved it.

We stayed two nights at Ziegler Cottage. The staff is very friendly and our kids loved the place as well. There is a nice swimming pool and enough space to move for the kids in the restaurant aera. The rooms and the whole building was very clean.

We stayed two nights here after arriving at Colombo Airport. The place is pretty close to the airport, and takes around 30mins to get there. This place isn't a typical Airbnb but rather something in between a hotel and an Airbnb, and there's staff at the place 24/7 who are very helpful and nice. We highly recommend this place. Lovely villa with a beautiful pool area. You can walk straight out onto the beach too so it’s amazing. This was the perfect stop to our last evening in Sri Lanka as the staff were so gracious, the food was great and we were so close to the airport. Highly recommend

This is a family owned and operated business. You always felt at home. Their attention to detail and initiative was impeccable. Their staff Tisa and Thomas were amazing and kind; Hector the chef was extra special and made every dish with love. Mohan (independent driver and tour guide) was awesome. You lacked for nothing and if there was anything they could do, they would. You're in good hands with Ziegler Cottage!

Ok, its not close to the center of Negombo, but your room is 20 meters from the beach. Sit outside on the patio , and listen to the. Waves coming in. The beach is amazingly private. I had one jogger go by, once. Sunsets are pretty special Breakfast ( included ) and dinner ( not included) were delicious. Super nice people. Talk about value for money, this is the place. I couldn't believe how nice it was. Definitely returning.

Very nice, peaceful place to rest after long way from freezing Finland. From -10 C to +30 C . Also good place to get used on hot climate. No other tourists and the beach was just for me. Big waves, but there is a nice little lagoon where even child could swim. The house is big enough for a whole family or a group. I have special needs for food; no chili and no wheat, but the family could arrange good food for me still. Thank you Lal.

Lal place is right on the beach. You can sit outside and listen to the waves. We we able to watch a beautiful sunset. Lal was very hospitable and welcoming into his home.

Mr lal was very polite and hospitable his rooms were nice and clean Wi-Fi was fast. He also cooks u good tasty meal upon request at a reasonable rate all in all was a good stay.

Lal is very kind and considerate person, he let us know where can buy food and the house was good facilities, like : big kitchen, clean room, hot water, aircon, direct to beach, in the morning, we can find many fishermen catching fishes. Good to enjoy simple live, it is a bit far from central area. Lal send us to the airport, he is helpful.

If you want to spend some time relaxing arriving or leaving Sri Lanka this is a good place as it close to the airport. The hotel is new and well worth the money. There is not very much to do around the hotel but it easy to take a Tuktuk and go to the beach in Negombo for about 1500rps.

Dr. Shamill has a wonderful seaside house, and living here is a fantastic idea. Lovely Mr. Sirisena provided us a lots thoughtful helps. We missed him! This house enlightened our journey, definitely want to come back someday.

If you are looking for a great base to explore the country from and want peace and a friendly place to relax, you cant do better. I will be staying again.

Loved the location. It is next facing to the beach. Far away from city hustle bustle. A perfect place for a laid back vacation.

We really enjoy staying at Lal's place. The beach just by the house was beautiful and Lal was very friendly and helpfull. He organised a good dinner for us for a really good price. The perfect place to start our journey. And oh the house was perfect for a family of four! Would absolutley recommend! :)

Hal was a great host and the housekeeper was lovely. When we had some issues arranging transport to get from Colombo Hal was amazingly helpful with getting this resolved.

This villa's location is great. The host's family lived in the next villa and they were great hosts. We had a great conversation. The beach is right there behind the villa just 100 m away. The villa is properly maintained, we loved the library section. If you are travelling in a group, this place is best for you. They also provide choice of breakfast.

Will suggest this place. It's as you see in the photo. Trust I was completely and overly satisfied with the host n home. lovely people. Thank you Lal, for such a first experience to us all. If asked me I would tell you the stay was short...but next time Lal will plan for a longer stay. This house is beautiful! The best room / bathroom in which we stayed. We have been there the night before the flight. The owner organised a tuktuk for us to the airport. The airport is 7 km away. The address is very difficult to find also with google maps and its not the right one in airbnb...you havw to look in google maps!

Sumith and Ayomi were so kind and helpful. They picked us up from the airport, we stayed in their beautiful home, they fed us breakfast in the morning and helped us navigate getting to the train station the following day. Very peaceful environment and a very sweet family to stay with! I highly recommend!

Perfect beginning for the holiday!

Wonderful homestay in a beautiful house, in a really nice area of negombo. Everything about this place is just good. The welcoming hosts, the room, the good bed, the area, the delicious food and the service. They even went up in the middle of the night for driving us to the airport. We can only recommend to stay here, and will de come back.

Only minutes from the international airport, this is the best possible place you can stay because the hosts are the most wonderful hosts you could ever wish for and they have built a beautiful, clean, comfortable, welcoming guest house for you to enjoy and relax in at a very reasonable price. It is in a safe, quiet, residential area, easily accessible from the main road between Colombo and Negombo. I had the good luck to have booked with them at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic and they ended up giving me tremendous support, friendship, encouragement and help during a frightening and confusing time of changed flights, dates....and more. I am forever in their debt and look forward to the time that I can travel again and return to their amazing guesthouse and magnificent country!

This is the perfect place to stay close to the airport. New, clean and comfortable. But more important.. we were treated like family! We were driven to a local restaurant and also picked up after our meal... now that’s going way beyond our expectations. But if that were not enough our host also drove us to the airport at 5am!!!!! What a wonderful experience we had staying here. Collected from the Airport from the Accom owners and looked after fantastically. Frank and Rita are lovely people, so kind, helpful and informative. It was only a transit stop over, but felt afterwards that we had stayed longer, if only to sit and chat away. The Accom is exceptional, convenient to the Airport and the facilities perfect. We can’t recommend this Accom more highly and are looking very much to staying there again in our return journey. 😃

Mr. Frank and his wife Rita are amazing people and super hosts...I contacted them for my visit and they were super proactive. They responded to my queries in less than 5 minutes every time. I was little sceptical of how I will find them at the airport as this was my first visit to Srilanka but Rita aunty and uncle Frank waited for us for an hour and still they were so warm while receiving us. They arrange a free pick and drop service from the Airport and their house is just 4kms from the airport , a 15 minutes drive..They had a beautiful smile on their face. I strongly recommend their place. The house was neat and clean with basic necessities. It gives you a big dinner place along with a living room and bedroom. it's in a good location.

Frank and his wife are excellent hosts. Took me from the airport and helped me to get everything I need like a SIM card or something to eat. They tried to help me in every way like driving me to the bus station so I could go one with my trip. All in all I can say that they have a great hospitality and try to help you in every way they can. I could recommend this apartment to everyone who is planning to stay and rest one day after landing. Close to the airport, this new guest house is much more than a clean and comfortable guest house to stay for early departures or late arrivals. First of all, Frank and Rita are two of the most gracious hosts I have ever met. They are that rare combination of absolute professionalism combined with an unexpected degree of warmth, kindness and generosity. I asked Rita if I could borrow an iron, instead of that, she suggested I rest and drink water after my long journey, and she ironed my wrinkled dress for me. Their guest home far exceeded my expectations on all levels. My large bedroom had a private, en-suite shower, sink and toilet. I am not certain if it was the absolute silence of the neighborhood or the incredibly comfortable bed, but I slept better than I had in weeks. The guest house is only minutes from the main airport (very important considering the epic traffic in Colombo) yet it is tucked away in a guarded, gated neighborhood that is very calm and quiet. The guest house, itself, is brand new, spacious and well appointed. Very safe for solo lady travelers, families or couples as the home is completely walled and gated with a garden and delightful veranda in front. Guests have full access to the kitchen for making coffee, tea, or enjoying snacks. If you are traveling as a group, and book a few rooms, the large, high ceilinged, airy and bright living room is a great place to gather. This is a very well designed guest house and Frank and Rita both speak English very well. The charming beach town of Negombo is only minutes away. I can highly recommend the spa at the Heritance Hotel on the beach and the vegetarian/vegan restaurant (forgot the name), just across the road. If you want or need to go to Colombo you can take a taxi or a nearby train to get there. It is about 30 minutes away. I am returning very soon, to Frank and Rita’s place, to visit more of Negombo and the surrounding area. What a great experience! Thank you, both!

Excellent location conveniently located near the airport. Not much to do in the neighborhood but there are a few restaurants and cafés. Air-conditioning! Good communication.

Our flight took off early in the morning, so we spent our last night in Sri Lanka close to the airport. The place is nice and quiet. Naveen provided us with everything you need before (or after) a long journey: a clean and tidy room, a working A/C, a strong WIFI connection, a hot shower, fresh towels and free drinking water. We were able to use the large kitchen and they also arranged transportation to the airport for us. Overall we were very happy with the Transit Stay and can definitely recommend this place.

The place is very tidy and host was very friendly and always available for the help. Highly recommend if you are transiting through Colombo.

Super cheap, clean accommodation with AC, fan, private bathroom ... Everyone went out of their way to take care of you. The airport can be reached within 10 minutes for less than 300 rupees. Overall very recommendable :)

Nice place close to airport for really good money.

Only 10 minutes, Rs.155, by tuktuk from the airport(on the Pick me app). Clean place, Bernard the caretaker was very helpful with everything. Drinking water was provided, the aircon worked perfectly, crockery and cutlery available to rustle up a quick meal or reheat good in the microwave. Uber or Pickme easy to get. Overall, a good location for a short stay.

The host was very friendly. I didn't speak English well. The host also called for a taxi to the airport. The homestay is very quiet and the scenery is super beautiful! so beautfl! You can see the lake view from the door, the room is very clean and tidy, and the sound insulation is great! In short, the price is very high, highly recommended! !! !! !!

Shirly was an amazing host and even picked me up from the airport at 3 a.m. in the night. He made sure I felt comfortable and provided great breakfast in the morning. It was also super fun talking to Shirly and I would definitely stay here again whenever I am in Sri Lanka next.

STOP!! and listen if you will arrive in Srilanka at the airport and you think about getting to the south! CONSIDER minimum one night over with Shirly! You already had a long journey and driving to the south is really expensive. Why don’t you pay this small amount and relax one day and enjoy the next mining the great train to your following Destination. It’s cheaper than driving directly and this place is magic. It’s brand new and much better than anything you will get in Srilanka for the next days or weeks. I came here already 3 times. And will Come more and more often. Cause I feel like home

It was home away from home. Romany and Deelip were great hosts. They made us feel at home. Romany is a great cook, cooked us an awesome indian breakfast. Communications were clear from the beginning. House was clean and has a beautiful garden in front.They helped us with transport arrangements and local tips. Wish I could give more than 5 Stars. Looking forward to stay at their place again.

Romany is the warmest person and amazing host. She and her husband really care about their guests and helped more than I expected- with transport, food and all kind on questions. Location was very nice, everything you need is nearby. In the apartment you can also find everything you need and even more, so I think this is the perfect place to stay!

Mr. Dileepa and Mrs. Romany were the best hosts I have ever come across. They both were so caring, helping. This place is near to airport and have all amenities near by. I would suggest this place if your are new to srilanka.

Romany's place is located perfectly when flying into Bandaranaike International Airport. I landed late at 10pm and Romany was very kind to stay up and let me in. They provided a delicious breakfast in the morning and gave me some great tips for my time in Sri Lanka. Both Romany and her husband have fantastic English language skills and are very comforting. It was like staying with family!

My heart overflows with love for these two and their lovely BnB. What an incredible value — a wonderful living room, balcony, hot shower, ice-cold AC, delicious food (order the Sri Lankan meal!), and so many thoughtful touches. They even made me two sandwiches with bananas for the bus ride. Stay here if you’re lucky enough to book it.

Romany and Dileepa are magnificent hosts with excellent English, and beautiful open minded personalities. So interested, caring and hospitable. Quickly transformed from strangers to friends now close to our hearts. providing all you could want and need in the comfortable space they created, conveniently close to the airport and reasonably far from the mayhem of Colombo, a peaceful place to recuperate. We genuinely Loved our stay here with these two.

Spaces are neat and filled with ventilators. No mosquito nets but an anti-mosquito device. Host very welcoming and helpful. Prepared a nicely packaged breakfast in the fridge, because I had to be at the airport early (before 8 a.m.). Regular transportation. If the rest of the day stayed, it turned out that my flight was canceled. Nice place to catch your breath before or after your trip.

I booked the dorm. It was sparkling clean and bathrooms were very well maintained and clean too. The view from the property is grey too. Very close to airport and good option for a night stay.

This is a great place to stay Frank and his wife are superb hosts, they go to great lengths to make their guests welcome and comfortable and to be helpful. I enjoyed a great conversation about island life. The house is spotless is very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Franck and his wife Rita were absolutely lovely. Communicating with then was very easy. They responded to messages very quickly at all times. The room was spacious enough for two and absolutely kind. They drove us to the airport in the morning, making our trip a lot easier. They were truly very kind and thoughtful hosts.

Amazing! Super! These are the most friendly and caring people on our journey! Met us in the early morning at the airport, waiting for us 30min. Good-natured and friendly couple! Placed in a clean neat house completely WITHOUT mosquitoes, which is very rare for Lanka. They waited while we rest after a long flight to take us to a wonderful dinner. Know good tasty places. Then began a 3-hour journey around the city, where they showed us the most distinct fish market, helped to buy a SIM card, inexpensive clothes and fruits. Frank is a very intelligent person. Helped with shopping, as for tourists the prices are too high. We learned everything we needed about the country thanks to these guys. It was they who very carefully accompanied us in the first days, because upon arrival in Sri Lanka, the mouth involuntarily opens, attention is scattered. Frank helped to choose a good fish, suggested the principles of choice and fish and fruit. After which we were invited to dinner, where Rita cooked incredibly tasty fish in three versions according to Sri Lankan traditions. And after we were treated to pineapple with spices as a welcome gift! It was a magical dinner! Frank and Rita are very responsive, pleasant and caring people. Until the last moment we were nearby, they helped in everything! The place where we lived is 10 minutes from the airport, near the center and the train station. At the same time, there are no mosquitoes in the house, it’s quiet, comfortable, and the ceiling fans do an excellent job of heat! Entrance to the territory of the residential complex Lion City is guarded! The house has everything you need: towels, soap, a kitchen with drinking well water from the tap, cookies and tea! We were also taken and put on a train to Colombo, helped to deal with tickets! Thanks to Frank and Rita, we felt safe and in good hands! And also spent an unforgettable time with warm communication and fun!

jayakody is an amazing man. He went above and beyond in terms of hospitality. Taking us to the train stop and then coming back to see we had missed it.. only to drive us to the bus!! Tips for where to go and always helpful. The only thing is the pictures can be a bit deceiving. Still a comfortable place to stay and amazing host. THANKYOU jayakody.

Very closed to the airport, approx. 6 kilometers. Jayakody is a very kindly and helpful host and he have a great family. Felt safe and pleasant at his place! If I've a layover at Colombo in the future, I'm sure, I'll spend my time again on his place!

Thuru Villa was our quiet haven upon landing in Sri Lanka with cricket aficionado Jayakody who promptly responded to what was required to make our stay pleasant. He was kind enough to help us get in at 2 AM after a delayed flight and a long line at immigration. He truly made our stay special with a wonderful home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast that we throughly enjoyed to kick off our vacation here.

I would especially like to note the absolute security (the guesthouse is located in a territory with security and a barrier) and the outstanding hospitality of Naveen. The rooms are spacious with a fresh repair and air conditioning, a large lounge area. Guests are offered all the necessary accessories. And the sincerity and delicacy of the concierge on duty will make your stay at Naveen comfortable and unforgettable. I stayed at Naveen twice - on the day of arrival and before departure. Everything is perfectly organized - they will help you to order a taxi or tuk - tuk at a very reasonable and pleasant price, they will tell you the necessary information about Sri Lanka. Great location if you are looking for a place to spend the night after the flight. We arrived at 3.30 in the morning, settled in without problems.

Great place and proximity to the airport, so best place to stay for transit if you have an early morning flight to catch, like we did. Clean place, good amenities. The caretaker was extremely warm and caring and made sure we had a comfortable stay. He even arranged for a ride to the airport in the morning. Would definitely recommend this!

Although we did not meet Naveen himself, communication was easy and details regarding address and WiFi were given by him in advance. The man greeting us on arrival is simply charming! He makes sure we are okay, very nice. The flexible late arrival is very helpful with night flights. Coffee was appreciated in the morning! Beware if arriving at nighttime, it’s pretty dark. You must ring the bell to have someone open the gate to the home! Thankfully our driver was familiar and helped us out. Perfect place very accessible to the airport if your looking for a temporary place to stay. Thank you!

We stayed here the first time when we first arrived in Sri Lanka. It was a great first impression for this country with outstanding hospitality and consideration. So we booked here again on our way out. It’s convenient to the airport and the help to make it super easy was greatly appreciated.

Very convenient, close to the airport. We had a big surfboard bag, so needed a car - paid 1,000. Our flight was pushed back and we didn't land til after 3am(!) but the friendly butler was happy to help us check in. Had coffee made in the morning, which was a nice touch. Thanks for having us!

We are pretty seasoned world travelers at this point and have had quite a variety of experiences. So when a host assures you that their place is easy to find, we know they mean it but sometimes it’s harder than they might think. In this case, everything went exactly as described and the host bent over backwards to assure our comfort and accommodation even to the point of helping us with train schedules, making arrangements for a tuk-tuk and getting us to our bus. We chose this place based on proximity to the airport and it was a wise decision. Highly recommend. Thanks for everything Naveem.

Wonderful stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Without a single thought just select this place. You will get amazing spacious private rooms as per your comfort with neat and clean attached bathrooms. Kitchen is also available you can ask to that lady who is working and taking care of that place for cooking. Security guard is there so whenever you will come late night he will there to greet you. This place is just 15 min. Away from Airport and 30 min away from negombo beach and pubs area. So its a perfect place to stay as well if you wanna have fun before your flight back to your place.

Our stay for transit at Reef Bungalow was one of the best Airbnb experiences we got to have. The location is amazing with the constant breeze from the ocean and the soothing sound of the waves lapping on the seashore. The pool was kept clean and kids loved a dip in it. The lunch cooked by the host was so delicious that my kids complimented it to be the tastiest that they had. Amali and Herath are so kind and caring and ensured all your needs are catered during the stay. I would highly recommend Reef Bungalow for not only for transit but also for a stay longer than that as you can fully enjoy your stay then only. The Blue suit room gives you best view from the bedroom and I am glad to have chosen it for our stay.

The reef bungalow is a quiet private place right on the shores of a black sandy beach. It was s perfect end to our vacation. Food that was served was delicious and the space that we stayed (blue room) was spectacular and huge, complete with a balcony to chill out and face the ocean.

The hosts are very kind, hospitable and flexible. The location is great. The food delicious. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to others. Everyone should come see the beauty of Sri Lanka, eat its delicious food, learn about its interesting culture and meet its kind people.
