  • John and Rosemary are lovely hosts, welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is accurate to the brief, very light, open space with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable , plus some lovely personnel touches. Perfect location for peace and quiet, but close enough to nearby places of interest.

    Béatrice2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at John's place. It you want to be in the middle of nature, this is the place to be. It felt like we were the only ones in the valley with hills all around. It was very quiet. The horses, peacocks and chickens could be seen all around from the loft itself. Our two year old had a great time. John and Rosemary were excellent hosts. They were very helpful with tips on exploring the local area. The space was adequate for the three of us. The only downside was poor network and wifi. You however may not need them if you just want to be within the nature.

    Himanshu2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent property with all you need for a comfortable stay. John and Rosemary are lovely people and so are their animals. We enjoyed a three night stay over new year and were made to feel really welcome as was our westie who loved all the animals and fuss he received. The Loft is so warm and cosy with lovely views out to the hosts garden and the horses out in the field. Plenty of places to go and explore. Tewksbury Abbey is amazing. Ledbury is nice as is Upton upon Severn.

  • John and Rosie are wonderful hosts and the nicest couple you could ever meet. The accommodation was perfect for me, my husband and son and Rolo our dog. It is a perfect place for exploring as you are are on the border of several counties. We enjoyed our walks in the Forrest of Dean, Gloucester cathedral was magnificent and the way home stopped for a cream tea at the lovely Bourton on the Water. I would highly recommend The loft Apartment and can't wait for a return visit,

  • John and Rosemary were incredibly welcoming, with some lovely touches, including homemade bread which was delicious. Everything needed was provided, overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay! Ideal location, especially for those going to an event held at Hartpury!

  • Thank you John and Rosemary for an amazing couple of days in what was a picturesque location! Words can’t do the place justice. Freshly baked bread and eggs from their hens were provided for breakfast. An amazing array of their animals wonder the vast gardens which are beautifully kept and the hosts were warm, welcoming and extremely hospitable! If we ever venture down to the malverns again we’ll definately be paying another visit! Thank you!

  • The house is splendid for a stay in English countryside. John is a kind host who provided nice things such as eggs from his chickens, a freshly baked loaf of bread, butter and milk. He provided useful advice for the surrounding area and was a pleasant and welcoming host. Recommend to stay here if you are looking for a place in this area.

There is a huge pack in the accommodation with so many different options of things to do. Which helped us to decide what we would do. Would recommend to a friend.

A real gem of a getaway nestling at the foot of the Malvern Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) we have a light, bright, modern, and spotlessly clean 2 bedroom bungalow which provides guests with a great base from where they can explore all 3 counties, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. The property comes with ample secure off road parking its own private secluded garden and balcony offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding farmland and countryside.
Just to give you a teaser of whats nearby we have Eastnor Castle just a stones throw away, they hold a host of events throughout the year and provide the perfect backdrop for the Landrover Experience - if you're brave enough to give it a try! For something more sedate follow Edward Elgars route around the hills and visit locations which inspired his music. Take in a show at the renowned Malvern Theatre which attracts big names from stage and screen. Alternatively there is always something going on at The Three Counties Showground or down by the river at Upton-Upon-Severn with its various festivals, including Jazz, Blues and the Summer Water and Sunshine Festivals. Less than 30 mins drive away is the regency spa town of Cheltenham with it famous horse racing, fabulous shopping, cultural events and varied dining options. We like to think we have something for everyone right here in Wonderful Worcestershire.
We love where we live, rural but not remote. There are plenty of lovely little towns and cities within easy reach, each with their own unique attractions , Malvern with over 30 fresh water springs dotted around the hillside - where you can stop and fill up your water bottles for FREE and Ledbury with its characterful buildings and shops. Gloucester with its rejuvenated docks area and stunning cathedral the setting for scenes from Harry Potter. We have several interesting National Trust and English Heritage properties in the vicinity worthy of a day out.
  • This is a beautiful place in an area which has stunning countryside, many excellent and friendly pubs and within easy access to many day trips in the region. The beds were very comfortable, loads of natural light, beautiful setting. We will come back!

  • Lovely bungalow in the beautiful countryside. Very spacious and clean with stunning views. Such a treat to have a wood burning stove with a constant supply of logs! Sara and Matt were so accommodating and friendly. We walked down the road to the pub for the afternoon and stayed longer then expected, Matt rang the pub to check we were there and insisted on picking us up when we were ready so we didn't have to walk back in the dark! All in all we had a fantastic stay and we would recommend it to anyone!

Are you looking for a cosy retreat for two? You may have found what you are looking for …. tucked away at the end of a no-through road in the rural heart of the three counties you will find our shepherd’s hut placed at the centre of Farm Life.
Our Shepherd's hut is situated within a newly planted English Woodland, at the centre of farm life. During the day you will hear the bustle of farm life; animals being fed, lambing, calving, tractors scraping up or harvesting. At night you will be enveloped by a huge sky and hear the hooting of Barn and Little Owls and the odd moo or baa as the animals settle down for the night. While at the centre of farm life you will experience a great sense of remoteness and peace at being far away from the world. Our Shepherd's Hut Hideaway arrived at Nash End Farm on 3rd October 2013 having been newly crafted in Worcestershire by Riverside Shepherd's Huts. A fusion of Victorian charm and contemporary luxury, your hut contains everything you need for a relaxing break away: a full size double bed, central heating, hot and cold running water, shower, flushing WC, a fully equipped fitted kitchen ready for you to do some serious cooking, plenty of storage for all of your things, all within the hut. There's no need to venture outside until you're ready to take on the day. Please enquire about bringing children and we are no longer taking bookings with dogs. Please also look at our other lisitings on airbnb. Our Iglu Hut is a beautiful aspen clad space with a Scandinavian feel. It's a very similar space to the Shepherd's Hut and I a confident that you will love it just as much. During the warmer months with also offer camping at Eldersfield Tipis also listed on air bnb.
It's remoteness. Although you feel far away from the world, we are central to the three counties and within a 20/30 minute drive of a range of towns, cities and tourist attractions including, the Malverns, the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and the county towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.
  • Such a beautiful little hut in the middle of nowhere! Stunning scenery and the perfect escape!

    Ri2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Nash End Farm was the peaceful break we both needed. A cosy and warm shepherd's hut that felt like the perfect place to wait out storm Dennis. Rosalind was super accommodating and even picked us up from Gloucester station which was really great as we don't drive. The farm was lovely and all the animals were super friendly. Rosalind also let us know when the lambs were being fed and invited us to join. Overall a fantastic stay and we would love to see the place in the summer.

    Cat2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place! If you’re thinking of staying in the area this is the spot for you! So warm and cosy, perfect size, amazing location, lovely dogs! Rosalind was so helpful and really friendly. Really good value - can’t wait to go back. Digger the dog is a local legend!

    Will2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and picturesque farm. We had a lovely time and are very grateful for such cozy and warm (in every sense) place to come home to in the height of English winter. The dogs welcomed us every time we returned to the farm and even guided us to the hut at various times. The Shepherd’s hut is the perfect size and it’s full working kitchen allowed us cook for ourselves after our daily excursions! Thank you again for the perfect place for a much needed getaway.

    Devangi2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • It was so lovely to stay for a few days! When we first arrived we struggled to find the house (our inability to read the directions!) but were met by a lovely doggy who help us find the way and was always available for a bit of affection. The hut itself is amazing, beautifully clean and surprisingly more spacious than you’d think. My partner and I especially enjoyed the game of scrabble provided. While there’s not much to do in the immediate area, it’s not far to drive to amenities, we drove into Gloucester to have a bit of an explore. It’s a really great place to stay, thank you so much for having us!

    Elise2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little space - privacy but owners nearby if you need anything. Beautiful walks and country side on the doorstep.

    Catherine2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had two perfect days and nights in the cozy hut. We can totally recommend this hide-away.

We've created a quirky, self-contained retreat. It is on the beautiful Malvern hills, surrounded by uplands and woodland, a short walk from the Iron Age hill fort of British Camp. Ideal for nature lovers, bird watchers and walkers. It is in the Castlemorton Common SSSI and is an AONB. Dark skies are fantastic for night sky watching. Malvern, Ledbury, Tewkesbury (20, 15, 30mins) are beautiful towns with fabulous theatres, cinemas, lesure centres, spas, markets, museums and historical buildings.
The retreat is self-contained and is in our large and beautful garden. It is small. Ideal for one or two. There's a tiny shower and toilet with a basic kitchenette including, single ring induction hob, a microwave and fridge. The retreat has its own little gravel garden with a table, chairs and firepit.
It is a walker paradise. You can walk in any direction out of the door into woodland or up onto the ridge of the hill. You have the length of the hills to explore, the unique grasslands of the common and the parkland of Eastnor Castle is just over the hill. Nearest pub, which serves food, is 20-30 minutes walk along the ridge.
  • Beautiful little place that is completely self sufficient warm even in the middle of winter. The location is great for walking the Malvern ridge, as it is literally on the side of the mountain and withing access to amazing walks in lots of directions. Zoe and her husband were very welcoming, offering us wellies if needed, any necessities from their house and even a ride in their car if we needed to go anywhere. Keep in mind that this is a very isolated location and hard to reach with out a car. We came by train and had to take a 20 minute taxi to the place. Alternatively you could walk there (2.5h) from Great Malvern by road or even by the ridge as we did when we left. If you don't come by car, it is also wise to bring your own food for your stay as the nearest shop is a 40 min walk away. Despite this, this is exactly what we wanted and the only true complaint is that we didn't decide to stay longer.

    Valentina2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a wonderfully situated hidden gem! For a small space it's very well designed, perfectly functional and really cosy. The rain tinkling on the metal roof is a real treat! You're straight out onto paths that take you up into the hills, so much beauty to explore. If you're wanting to cycle, be aware that the terrain is very challenging so if you're after a leisurely ride it's probably not appropriate, but if you're up for mountain biking then it's perfect (note there are designated cycle routes than can be found online). Would recommend this place for rural explorers and nature lovers (:

  • A gorgeous little hideaway tucked in the folds of the Malvern Hills, at the end of a track half a mile from the nearest lane, and just feet from a stunning view over the Severn Valley. Peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of well-trodden paths over the hills. And a lovely half-hour hillside walk to the pub!

  • A lovely place, room and ensuite was sparkling clean, the separate living room/sun room was lovely as we were tired after a long drive and not feeling too social. Breakfast was all laid out for us as we had an early start the following day. Recommended!!

From our doorstep, take a walk on one of the many local footpaths or secluded lanes and you are likely to see a selection of wild birds and birds of prey, or perhaps the GB Olympic dressage horses hacking out. Visit the nearby market town of Newent with traditional inns, restaurants, tea rooms and artisan shops or just 8 miles to Ledbury famed for its architecture and food market. The historic cities of Gloucester and Regency Cheltenham are also close by, and the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean offers foot/cycle and horse trails. A short drive to the renowned Three Choirs vineyard, Eastnor Castle or the wonderful Malvern Hills. Plenty to explore and enjoy.
  • Beautiful location in the countryside, yet close to the lovely town of Newant. We stayed here to be close to Hartpury college, but would love to return in Summer to enjoy the cottage and it's surrounds in better weather. Elaine was an excellent host and even had croissants and jam available for us, after I had mentioned my partner was writing an exam early the following morning. The room itself is lovely and well appointed, with everything you need for a short, relaxing stay. Will hopefully be back soon!

    Alex2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely private and spacious accommodation. Beautiful countryside setting and views (even in the winter). Elaine and James are great hosts, very helpful and friendly. We stayed 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be returning in the summer. A great location for the Cotswolds, Malverns and historic towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Cheltenham. Highly recommended.

  • Richard's place in lovely. What a treat to stay there. It has such a homely feel and I felt very comfortable immediately. I slept very well - it's so quiet there - and breakfast in the morning was perfect - home made bread! Amazing. Thank you Richard :)

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Home Farm! Richard is a fabulous host and made us feel so welcome. Our room was really cosy, we had the most amazing cooked breakfast and we enjoyed eating dinner and having drinks with some of the other guests staying for the weekend. The perfect place to relax and unwind with stunning countryside views and two gorgeous fluffy cats and a dog to chill with too. Will be recommending to everyone and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for an amazing time x

  • You will immediately feel a warm welcome and have a very comfortable stay at Farm Cottage. Richard is an excellent host who loves entertaining and cooking for his guests.

    Maria2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • I booked at the absolute last minute and Richard bailed me out of a small logistical nightmare, what I needed was a room, what I got was a lovely room in a fantastic house, next to the wedding location with two wonderful hosts who I spent the night drinking and chewing the ear off of. Honestly the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure to stay with on AirBNB and I can't recommend them enough. I have no real reason to visit the area in the foreseeable future but I'll be making another reservation at some point just to do it all again. It's that good. Thanks for everything, Richard and Si. Rob (and Kate)

    Robert2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, beautiful room in a historical farmhouse. Top notch bathroom with the softest, thickest, best smelling towels you could wish for. But what really made the place sparkle was Richard and Si's delightful presence and attention to detail. Make sure to book the farmhouse dinner and/or breakfast!

  • Maria’s place is great - really cosy, clean and she was really flexible, letting us know we could check out late if we needed. She also gave us some great local recommendations. Lovely stay all round

  • Such a perfect weekend away with my boyfriend, accommodation was so clean and fresh and location perfect for a day trip out to nearby towns. Maria is a lovely host with brilliant communication and local knowledge of where to go and walk. Highly recommend, would love to go back:)

    Sarah2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much Maria for everything. What a stunning place for a romantic getaway. A modern, cosy, peaceful barn within the setting of beautiful countryside. The Three Choirs Vineyard was an amazing place for some wine tasting. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous place to friends and family and will no doubt be back again ourselves someday.

    Angela Joy2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Maria's place is immaculate and a great space for a few people. The grounds around the apartment are stunning, with beautiful countryside surrounding. Maria was a great host who was super friendly and quick to reply.

  • The accomodation is lovely, very homely and well decorated. A great countryside getaway where you can really switch off and relax. The hosts were very friendly and welcome, would definitely re visit.

    Carolina2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing find, the accommodation was just what we wanted, we had our own space but Maria wasn't far when we needed local knowledge. Our host was very thoughtful and provided tea, coffee biscuits and fresh milk for us so we could make a hot drink on arrival and start relaxing. We were fortunate with the weather & were able to sit outside on the patio with a glass of chilled wine and admire the views, later we took the short walk to Three Choirs Vineyard where we had a lovely meal and sampled the local wine. We were pleased that the bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area is peaceful, we had the delicious breakfast basket provided by Maria on the first day but cooked in the kitchen (which had everything that you could need and it was all brand new and spotlessly clean) on the second day. There was so much to do locally, Maria showed us the local walks and gave us a map & off we went! Later we found a cosy pub in Ledbury for a late lunch. We will be going back as there is lots to do locally.

    Ruth2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely fantastic place to stay. The house is beautiful and I couldn’t ask for a more helpful host. Thank you for letting us stop for the weekend. Looking forward to coming again soon.

  • What an amazing few days we've just had! The accommodation was super stylish and sparkly clean. A very private space in a quiet country lane up a gated private drive. Beautiful views over the countryside with lots of lovely local walks. We visited The Three Choirs vineyard, just a 20 min walk along footpaths where we had a wine tasting and tour, we also ate in the Brasserie one evening - excellent meal. Newent was a short drive away where there were local shops and we had a nice wander around. The property is on the doorstep of the Forest of Dean and The Wye Valley. Ross-On-Wye is also worth a visit. Maria provides a good continental breakfast at an additional charge - this is highly recommended. Five star accommodation and host. We will be back. Thankyou Maria!

  • Ros and Nigel's place was wonderful. Very generous with all that was provided which not many Airbnbs do not. We felt very at home. We haven't met Ros and Nigel but great communication at all times. A great holiday stay and looking forward to staying there again and would recommend their place.

We found it an ideal stop over from Cambridge to Cardiff on our way to taking our lad back to Uni

  • We had a fantastic stay here with our dog Brody. The accomodation was clean and warm and the hosts very friendly. The area is absolutely beautiful with great walks and great pubs!

    Elizabeth2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cuckoo Pen is an absolute delight! It is so quiet and peaceful, we could sit and watch birds for ages without any sound of the modern world intruding. At night the sky is actually dark and is a wonder of stars and owls. The cottage has been updated without destroying its character and we found it very cosy and comfortable. With beautiful walks right from the door - this is a very special place if you're looking for a distressing environment. Plus Tim and Rosemary are excellent hosts. Brilliant!

    Andrea2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place and thoughtful hosts

    Edward2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ideal for our stop over. A lovely get away. Fantastic views. Lovely landscapes. Out in the country down an unmade track, away from the usual hussel and bussel. The best thing was when letting the dog out at night, we could see the stars in the sky and hear the owls in the trees around - magical. Very comfy bed and very practical accommodation which had everything we needed. We even managed to get a three mobile signal in the property! Cozy log fire. Near local pubs just a 5 minute drive away. We went to the Robin Hood. This did good pub food and was dog friendly. Rosemary was a great host and it was lovely to relax with a cup of tea and the lovely shortbread.

    Kerry2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very easy time with this booking. Rosemary has a beautiful home and hosts wonderfully. This cottage is a must for a warm start to hiking the Malverns which are right on her doorstep. Low phone reception so we played scrabble and drank wine and ate cheese. The fire was warm and life was sweet

    Arthur2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Cuckoo Pen. What’s a gorgeous find this is. Tucked away in the Malvern Hills with such an awesome view. Beautiful walks on our doorstep and plenty more to explore further afield. Cuckoo Pen was perfect for us and our dog. Peaceful location but close enough to some good local pubs should you prefer not to cook. Great for a couple but Rosemary very kindly squeezed an extra bed in the living space for our 6 year old. We travelled with our cocker spaniel who was made most welcome and loved the surrounding hills. Would definitely return to explore the area further.

    Nicola2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful garden overlooking beautiful surroundings. Gentle warm welcoming hosts. Our little one loved it: pheasant-spotting, sheep-spotting, tree swing and trampoline! We only stopped by for one night, easily imagine could enjoy more as stunning part of the world and comfortable place to stay. We recommend a great cafe in Malvern on top of a hill - we drove to bottom and walked up!

    Kathy2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with outstanding natural beauty and a warm welcome, this is the place to be. Eventhough, the road to paradise is a bit rough it's certainly well worth the effort. Rosemary is one of the kindest and welcoming people in the Airbnb community and you will not be disappointed if you choose her place. Everything was spick and span, and special thanks to the flexibility that was our very late arrival (due to our own incompetence). 5/5

  • Had the best stay at the Shepherd’s Hut. Both the hut and Jules home are lovely and it’s a really different experience. The wood burner makes the hut so toasty, it really is the perfect cosy retreat 😊

  • We spent a great weekend at Jules’ place! We loved everything about the farm, and the hut is perfectly suitable for two people to spend a couple of nights. Recently refurbished, fully self-contained, one-bedroom annexe in large grounds in a beautiful, rural location at Hollybush in the foot of the Malvern Hills. The local countryside is great for walking, road or mountain biking. Within 10 minutes are the pretty market town of Ledbury, Eastnor Castle, and the wedding venue Birtsmorton Court. Great Malvern and the Three Counties Show-ground are 20 minutes and Cheltenham - home of the Gold Cup and literature and jazz festivals - is around 30 minutes.
Glenberrow Annex has one bedroom with a luxury double bed, with anti-allergy bedding. There is plenty of hanging and storage space. The ensuite bathroom has a wet-room style, level-access shower. The main living space has a large kitchen area equipped with everything you need to self-cater, including Nespresso maker, induction hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher. • We had such a lovely time here, the annex was just the right amount of space, spotlessly clean and cosy but modern facilities. Great shower and nice and warm when we arrived. The grounds of the main house are lovely and it’s very peaceful. Convenient for Ledbury and we had dinner at the Oak at Staplow which was lovely and very dog friendly. Highly recommend this place!

  • Had a great night away in this quaint and cosy annexe. Coffee machine was a huge plus point. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. Although we didn’t use it, the milk already in the fridge was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back in the future.

  • Fabulous little place! We visited with our dog for relaxation and walking and were not disappointed. Interior is beautifully decorated and furnished with a nice mix of homeliness and practicality. Very cosy and had everything we needed for a self-catered few days. Hosts were fantastic and very attentive and the annexe was sparkling clean on arrival. Would recommend walls from nearby Hollybush up into the hills via the quarry (although the footpath which skirts along the edge for the best views is currently closed as of Feb 2020) amazing vistas and well maintained footpaths. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

  • The perfect location for doing the Walvern Hills End to End walk (even if we didn't actually get to do it due to very bad weather). The underfloor heating was a treat in the cold weather and the bed was a dream. Lovely visit

    Rachael2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay on in the perfect annexe for us and the dog. It is a beautiful area new to us.....and hosts gave us a hand drawn map for our hike up the hill with the dog on Saturday morning. We really appreciated local tips and beautiful local walk. The Glenbarrow annexe was perfect for us ....clean and warm. Just lovely.

    Lyn2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay - very clean, beautiful apartment in a great location for walking. Highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!

  • We just stayed for one night in the Annexe. It was a lovely cosy space with a very comfy bed and a great shower - just what we needed. Johnathan and Kath were fab at giving us directions and were flexible about timings. Thank you again!

Our place is an annex to our main house with it's own entrance in the village of Corse Lawn. We are close to the Malvern Hills, the Cotswolds, Cheltenham Races and the River Severn as well as the towns/cities of Tewkesbury, Malvern, Gloucester and Cheltenham. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, surrounded with common land and a number of farms, with lots of public rights of way. It is good for couples or solo adventurers or even business travellers who want to stay out of town
The house is set back off the Corse Lawn common, which is a long strip of public land throughout the village. Your own parking space is just outside the private entrance to the left of the house as you look at it. On the ground floor is an entrance hall and a recently fitted kitchen for your exclusive use, including a fridge, oven and hob along with commonly used utensils. There is no dish washer or microwave. The 1st floor contains the bedroom with ensuite. If you follow the stairs up to the 2nd floor you'll find a comfortable living room with TV + freeview (tea and coffee making facilities in ground floor kitchen).
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit even if storm Denis did it's best to scupper our plans! Nikki and Chris are lovely hosts and the annexe is a lovely place to stay.

  • Booked this place to be close to family over Christmas, 24th-27th December. What a lovely place and amazingly friendly people. The place is truly lovely. My two year old loved meeting the dogs and sheep Christmas morning, the owners were fantastic with him. Lovely personal touches on arrival, which made us feel very welcome. Wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

    Lisa2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Just perfect. The annexe was even cosier than it appears in the pictures. Nikki was an exceptional host - she really couldn’t have done much more.. Thanks again, Nikki. 10/10 👏

  • Cliche, but this place is a hidden gem, easy access to the Three Counties and all that happens in those areas; as for the accommodation, there's more space across the three floors at Corse Lawn than there is in my house! Clean, well fitted kitchen, big (en suite) bathroom, it's perfect for a couple that wants a break from city life for a few days and to just enjoy the British countryside and what it has to offer. Highly recommended.

  • Perfect property for our couples weekend away to the Malvern Hills. Lovely little place that was incredibly clean. Facilities were great and we had everything we needed. Some nice touches with the goodies left for us by the host who was great throughout. Very quick replies to any questions we had and provided some fantastic recommendations for places to eat. Check in was incredibly smooth and without issue. Although we didn’t get the opportunity to use it, there is a nice little screened off area to sit out in the lovely garden that had rabbits, squirrels and a green woodpecker feeding there during our stay. Hope to visit again!

  • Very comfortable, well provisioned place. Beautiful location in the Worcestershire countryside; close to Tewkesbury and the Malverns. A perfect house for travelling with a pet; we brought our labrador and she was very happy in the house. Lots of room to spread out. Our host was incredibly helpful (we had to book this at the last minute because of the flooding in mid Feb 2020, and the confirmation and clear directions came very quickly).

A unexpected discovery at the end of a small Herefordshire country lane, just 2 miles outside the market town of Ledbury. This one bedroom chic cottage is a perfect couples retreat with a reclaimed finish and an industrial style that combine to provide a luxurious and cool place to stay. Lofty beamed ceilings, open plan living space, which opens onto a private decked patio, leads you to your own private garden. Or retreat to the downstairs lounge with your favourite film, music & a cosy fire.
The industrial theme continues in the luxurious double bedroom and beautiful en-suite bathroom. Sleep soundly and wake refreshed on the contemporary bed sporting a wonderful Hypnos mattress, fine linen and faux furs. Next door is the incredible bathroom and have a soak in the jaw dropping copper roll top bath or if you’re in heading out, refresh under the matching overhead shower. If staying in is your thing, take advantage of the fully fitted luxury kitchen with electric range cooker. Cook up a storm, grab your favourite tipple and enjoy the views of the garden and even the occasional wildlife from the large benched dining table. The kitchen has everything you need including a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. If the British weather allows, feel free to eat outside. There you’ll find a spacious deck opening into a private garden with patio and mature plants, seating on the deck and a BBQ for the outdoor cook. If you visit in season, then take a stroll around the neighbouring orchard and hand pick some apples, pears and plums. There is allocated parking available and a place to secure bikes during your stay.
Just 2 miles away is the lovely market town of Ledbury with the famous Market House in the centre of long street known fondly as The Homend. You’ll soon see why Ledbury has been voted one of the prettiest towns in the UK by The Times in 2019. It's full of independent retailers, boutique shops, supermarkets, local butchers and bakers, coffee shops and pubs. There is a wide selection of eateries and we recommend Raduni the Indian restaurant, where Abdul and the team will provide you with a wonderful culinary experience ( and a very relaxed & fun evening). Looking for delights from the East then The Blue Orchid offers exquisite Thai cuisine. At Chez Pascal, the most amazing French onion soup, or The Olive Tree with its extensive Italian menu. If it is a simple homely pub you’re after then our pick is The Horseshoes (particularly with food fired pizza and open fires). A little further afield try Verzon for a special meal or join one of their Chase Gin visits. If that sounds too much then simply relax in the bar with a cocktail. If cider is more your tipple, then take a tour to Westons Cider in March Marcle and stock up at their shop. The Malvern Hills are a much visited walker’s paradise and lie just 7 miles away. If looking to explore the commons then take a short drive down into Holybush. Take your pick from a network of scenic walking trails through unspoilt countryside nearby. Eastnor castle is 5 miles away you can take a walk at the Deer park all year round and gain wonderful views of the castle or visit one of their many annual events and festivals throughout the year. You will also find the Landrover Experience or pottery on offer within the Eastnor estate. The annual Ledbury Poetry festival runs every July with a wide offering of events within the town. Further afield you have the larger Towns of Hereford to the west and Cheltenham and Gloucester to the East. This makes Hillfield Cottage very accessible to the Cheltenham festivals (Jazz, Science and Literature and the big racing festivals held in March and November. The Wye valley is a short drive where you’ll find canoeing, rock climbing and abseiling. Whatever the day's adventures bring, you can be sure of a magical evening back at Hillfield Cottage.

With a comfortable fixed double bed, soft cotton sheets, a shower and flushing toilet and small kitchenette, you have everything you need inside the iglu.
With no need to venture outside if the weather looks unwelcoming you can create the ultimate Hygge experience, cook a delicious meal, light candles, read, relax over a board game, watch your favourite boxset, or best of all, enjoy that longed for evening of conversation. Then wrapped up in oversized scarves and sturdy boots and a nice warm coat head out for a brisk walk through some of the most beautiful countryside England has to offer. Call in at a local pub for a refuel and look forward to returning to your warm cosy Iglu. During the winter we commend maximum 3 guests with the 3rd guest being a child and you would need to bring your own bed and bedding. During the summer you could book as a group of friends or family with some of the guests staying in tents or camper vans/caravans in the large paddock in which the Iglu Hut is situated. With those needing/wanting the most comfortable spot e.g. grandparents/parents staying in the iglu hut.
It's remoteness. Although we are central to the three counties and within a 20/30 minute drive of a range of towns, cities and tourist attractions including, the Malverns, the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and the county towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.
  • This iglu hut is the perfect place for a retreat/escape! It’s far enough out into the countryside to have all the benefits but not far from Cheltenham and Gloucester either if you want to visit a city. We had a wonderful cosy weekend and will hopefully be returning soon :)

  • Quiet location, amazing views, spotlessly clean, just an ideal little place for the perfect getaway from everyday life!

  • Highly recommend staying in the Iglu, my partner and I found it to be a wonderfully peaceful and cosy place for a relaxing weekend. Despite its size, there is more than enough room for 2 people, with all the necessary facilities to cook, rest and appreciate the surrounding area. We hope to be back in the near future!

  • My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. Highly recommended if you want a little getaway for the weekend. Had everything we needed and was better then we expected 😊

  • Beautiful location, and the hut had everything we needed. Despite the cold outside, the hut was very warm. Great for walks and an escape from the city. Will be coming back!

  • We had such a great time, it was a perfect location and exactly what we were after. Very peaceful, private and relaxing

    Emma2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • The igloo is a beautiful retreat, it is self contained so if you decide you want to just hold up for a few days of peace then you can ( which I did) , but there is enough in the area to keep you interested if you feel up for it, I would recommend this place to anyone.

    Dominic2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect get away from modern life. Even when it was frosty outside we were snug inside the igluhut. We will return in the warmer months to experience it all over again.

The HotTub Hideaway is a perfect romantic retreat. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide magnificent views over the countryside and is very private. The Hideaway is pet friendly and has secure fencing. If you are having a night in, why not turn the Smart TV round, connect the speaker and watch TV whilst chilling in the hot tub ❤️❤️. Let me know if you are booking for more than one night as we offer good discounts for multiple night stays.
The space is ideal for a private romantic getaway in beautiful Herefordshire. The bedroom windows open fully and lead directly onto the decking. & hot tub. There will be cutlery and crockery available if you choose to bring your own food or have a takeaway delivered. Both the main room and wet room have thermostated underfloor heating.
  • We've been to Ros and Nigel's place a few times now and it's always a lovely place to stay for a weekend away. Hot tub is always ready to go and great local restaurants in Ledbury

  • Love this place 💕❤️💕 it never fails to impress. Fantastic hot tub and hosts looked after us really well but not intrusive

  • An incredible little space which offered enough privacy and comfort for us to enjoy a superb date night away. Tea & coffee supplies are provided, as are many other brilliant little touches. There was no microwave or cooking facilities, but there is a great selection of takeaways and eateries in the nearby town of Ledbury. Ros & Nigel were great with the communications. Definitely recommended.
