Blaz and his mother were wonderful hosts! The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Blaz was very helpful and even took us to his friends wine cellar to taste some wine and schnapps. We had a great time and hope to get back in the future!

The location is perfect for tourists. The house lies on a hillside in the small picturesque village where there is peace. It is a perfect spot to visit Italy or Slovenia, because everything is close. For example, to Trieste 40km, Venice 150km, the complex of caves 30km, 20km to the bridge Solkan. The house is very well equipped, clean and renovated. The host is very helpful, helping in every possible smoothly as planning trips, or buying products manufactured by local suppliers. Place in a 100% recommendable.

We were welcomed, everything in the house was well prepared. We also got good information and suggestions for hikes in the surrounding area, but also to the known tourist destinations in Slovenia. The apartment offers plenty of comfort and space, and also the large garden and the view of a lot of nature with mountains, forests, meadows and orchards care from the first moment that we felt very comfortable. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace, fresh bread rolls are in the well-stocked shop at the entrance. In Vrtovin we met very friendly and benevolent residents and our gracious host we could taste good wines and look at some historically interesting places.

The listing is exactly as described. The house is quite large with nice and bright open spaces and a great terrace to sit on too. There is an air conditioner in the living room and in the two bedrooms. The second bedroom is spacious and contains two beds. The surroundings are rural and quiet, and there is a nice view from the house into the hills. We enjoyed the swimming pool and we had a good Wi-Fi connection throughout our stay. Veronika was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. She was always happy to answer our questions about the local area and also provided some tips on places to visit. There are two supermarkets a few miles away in Advoščina. Recommended.

Monikas rooms are modern, new, cozy and very well equipped! The breakfast (nearly everything selfmade) was delicious and the whole family is lovely, also their place is surrounded by stunning Vineyards! Would totally recommend staying here :)

The room was new and spacious enough for us. Ivo's place is located in a quiet area with vineyards around. We didn't meet Ivo but we met his daughter, Monika, who is lovely. The only issue was the WiFi didn't work in the room, we tried using it at the balcony as what the host suggested but it still didn't work. It wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have to book our next trip online.

A charming and lovely place in a countryside wineyard. Monika and her family were very nice and helpful. There were everything we needed for our baby. If you want a place to relax and feel like home go for it ! We love we view over the mountain and being surrounded by the nature yet it is easy to access to bigger cities. The only regret will be that we only stayed one night. We even get to try the local food cooked by Monika and their own wine, it was very good. This apartment is a lovely. nicely decorated apartment in the country side. It's in a small village (t have much time to explore, but there seemed to be many hiking paths. Alenka also prepares meals. We had dinner and breakfast. They were very large and delicious. They are available for an additional fee. Alenka does not take credit cards, so be sure to bring cash.

Absolutely awesome place surrounded by beautiful nature and a nice view on castle and Branik valley. Aljosa as host was more then just hospitable. The whole family was very responsive to any of our question and need but on the other hand not pushy in a single way.

Sweet and practically equipped holiday cottage is placed in the middle of peaceful greenery, with great view on old castle from 13th century. Photos of facility are real, it is very clean. We have been there during summer, so AC, picnic place and terrace are more than welcome to be available if needed. Hosts (all family) are very hospitable, kind and still can leave in your privacy if you want. At the morning we also got so heavy breakfast, that we could not believe. In short: fantastic to grab peaceful taste of Slovene Carst experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Helena's place. Her house is located in very quiet and relaxing area of vineyards, perfect for walks and not far by car from Goriška Brda, beautiful region deffinitely worth visiting. The house is clean and comfortable with homey atmosphere. Must be awesome during summer as it stays cold inside. Terrace with awesome view and heated matrace was a cherry on top :) Helena is very friendly an most helpful host! Thanks again.

The area where the hotel is located is very nice, quiet and quaint. Excellent for a walk and relax after a hard day of travel. The accommodation very neat and clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. Vlado has been very hospitable and thoughtful and has always been available for consultation. We would repeat without hesitation!

I came to run 50 km trail run UTVV which starts on the square in this small and quiet village. So I came to sleep over. The room and the kitchen are big but the most important thing for me was that the bed was very comfortable :)

We had a very good surprise because it's little bit insolite place!! we didnt excpect a house like that we was just to of us. the kitchen is very big and plaisant for cook!! there is everything we need and even more!! the bed was good. the house is in the center of a very small and quiet village. it was really plaisant for us to walk in this village which has a lot of charm and very beautifull point of view. When we arrived, Vlado was there waiting for us and he gives us every instruction we need. we recommand this place!! it was a good surprise for us!!

Our experience at Magda's place was perfect, the house is located in wonderful and peaceful little village in front of the mountains and has anything you may need during your stay. Magda was a great host always available and keen to help even with the late check-in. She gave us a delicious cake for our breakfast and a very nice red wine. 5-star experience, I hope to come back soon and spend more time there! Magda is the perfect Airbnb Host!

Magda is delightful and was extremely welcoming and easy to arrange our arrival and departure with. She showed us around the house with pride and welcomed us with a traditional local liquor. We enjoyed hearing about the family lavender business and looking at family photos! The house is a recently renovated beautiful traditional cottage. It has lots of original features and is lovely. Gigantic bed and fully equipped kitchen. The village is a very peaceful traditional Slovenian hill village. Lots of beautiful flowers and amazing views over the valley.

Tea's place was beautiful, exactly as you see in the pictures. Nice large home, beautiful back yard and in a secluded area. I will say that it was a little difficult to find as the GPS does not take you right to it. It stops at the beginning of the road, and you have to travel about a mile down the road before you arrive. We had to stop and ask several people before we could figure out where to go. We were here for only one night for a stop in our travels and it was a great place to do so...a little off the beaten path but it was very nice. They recommended a nice restaurant (I think it is the only one in the area) and the food was very good. Also the breakfast was delicious with everything you need. I would recommend this place.

Surprisingly perfect! Tea's family is the best kindhearted and well organized and professional b&b I have been before. The house is amazingly located in the real nature, the room is with a wonderful window view of the outside grass and mountains. We even saw 5 real deers on the way back to the house. What a cool experience! The breakfast is fancy I have to say, coffee, milk, juice, tea, Easter eggs, hams, bread, cake and a very delicious salad which I like the best. We highly recommend this place for your stay. We really appreciate the pick up from the station and restaurant help of the daughter and son in law of this big family. We real appreciate the welcome drink of the home made Amaro! We definitely will stay there again when we visit Nova Goriza next time!

This was a highlight of our two week vacation. It was the perfect place to relax. Tea should add to the description on airbnb to include that she offers a welcome drink, as well as numerous delicious home-made offerings at breakfast that vary by the season. We sincerely wish we could have spent a few more nights here. Just perfect!!! A great place to escape from people and just be surrounded by nature. Ultimate zen! The address listed with this room is not exactly correct. It is about three km from the town of Sempas. Leo welcomed us and did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He even made apfelstrudel and bread for us! He also gave us some advice were to go to for hiking or sightseeing. The apartment is located on the first floor, Leo and Nada live on the ground floor, and was very very clean. There was a very welcome airconditioning since it was hot outside during our stay. The garden was very beautiful and we loved to lay down there, with a plaid on the ground or in the nice swing bench, with a book at the end of the afternoon.

We (two families with 3 small kids) spent a wonderful week in Ozeljan. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the well equipped apartment (also very comfortable beds!). Leo and Nada are great hosts! They organized two baby beds and chairs for our youngsters and assured that we had everything else we needed. Leo told us a lot about the region, where to go, what to see....and helped out whenever he could. The garden is a perfect place to relax and ideal for families with small kids. We enjoyed every day of our stay - Thanks a lot to Leo and Nada - Hope to see you again!

A more picturesque backdrop, one would be hard pressed to find. A more gracious host and hostess, one will not find. Quite simply, our one week stay at Nada and Leo Lodging was a pleasure. A first class experience in courtesy and hospitality. Welcoming and knowledgeable, they ensured we were comfortable and content for the duration of our stay. Our pleasant experience began at the Slovenian/Italian border where Leo met us to personally escort us back to the lodging, a gesture one can only appreciate. On arrival, we were greeted with fresh cherries and a clean spacious accommodation that boasts all of the comforting amenities that one would find at home. Always friendly and helpful, Leo and Nada made an enjoyable trip even more enjoyable. On our last evening there, Nada prepared an exquisite meal for us, yet another gesture that illustrates how these hosts go above and beyond. Great accommodations and great people. Not only do we highly recommend Nada and Leo lodging, it would be a pleasure to stay there again.

The hosts were very cordial in everything, treated with flexible time of arrival, there was no problem that his company arrived late in the evening. During the accomodation periods longer is there more than once interested in what they could be more helpful. It is likely that we will return to the friendly house in a beautiful environment.

Nada and Leo are the most hospitable hosts in Slovenia. They greeted us your own cake and wine. We felt like you are in your own home. Advising us what to see. We went to Apartment Otava with two little children and had a fantistic holiday. Nice, clean and comfortable apartment with a big garden. The apartment has 3 rooms, separate bathroom and a big living room with kitchen. Very kindly people, who are ready to help you at any time. Recommended!

Nada and Leo gave us more than we expect: wonderful accommodation and additionally truly warm atmosphere. Nada and Leo made the apartment cosy by lovely details and their own works. Nada also made our holiday sweet by home made cake and preserves:) Leo gave us all necessary information about the apartment and take care of our comfort during our staying. We will definitely come back here again and fully recommend the place and hosts! It's a great location for paragliders. You can easily see the sky around Lijak and other paragliders by the window.
