The house has an attached apartment, blocked off from the house, that is used 1-2 times a week for 5-6 day hours. The deck can be used anytime when the apartment is not in use. This little historic home was built just before the turn of the century and was one of the first structures in Raton. If you have a larger group please consider booking the Casita as well! it is right next door and an equally cool little spot! Charming adobe casita with the best view in Taos! Located in the historic area of El Prado, its just a 5 minute drive to downtown Taos and a 15 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley. Tastefully decorated with handpicked antiques, this little spot boasts a nice kitchen and an old Kiva fireplace in the traditional New Mexican style. The views out the front windows could not be better, and more often than not the sunsets will leave you breathless. Enjoy a true New Mexico getaway!

Charming Train Depot built in 1890

Enjoy a piece of railroad history! This train depot, built in 1890 was once located in Maxwell, New Mexico. This piece of history is beautifully refinished and is located in the country club addition of Raton. The nostalgic kitchen has the original writing on the walls, as the passengers went through and signed their names. The signatures are now kept behind plexiglass to preserve the handwriting.
