This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. This condo is a short walk away from the base of the mountain and offers great amenities including shuttle service, covered parking, room to sleep for up to 5, and close proximity to plenty of dining and entertainment! Also available are community washer and dryer, free wifi, board games, smart TV's, and a cozy secluded patio. PLEASE NOTE: effective November 1, 2024, wood burning is no longer permitted anywhere in the Mountain Spirit building.

(No pets) Choose silence, solitude in our 12'x14' AIR CONDITIONED furnished hut, with a picture window view of Mesa; bed, desk, rocking chair, kitchenette. (1 guest only) and Wi-Fi. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)

Charming Train Depot built in 1890

Enjoy a piece of railroad history! This train depot, built in 1890 was once located in Maxwell, New Mexico. This piece of history is beautifully refinished and is located in the country club addition of Raton. The nostalgic kitchen has the original writing on the walls, as the passengers went through and signed their names. The signatures are now kept behind plexiglass to preserve the handwriting.

La Casita | Santa Fe Style Near Downtown & Trails

The apartment features a comfortable queen-size memory foam bed in the bedroom and a small futon in the living area that works well for children. While La Casita is ideal for one or two adults, guests needing more space may want to consider our nearby Carriage House or Gallery House, both located next door.
