Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Pepper Sauce Camp Cabin 6

Cabin 6 is our most popular unit. With wood log walls inside it's about 900 sq. ft and sleeps up to 5 people. It's got a full size fridge, gas stove, microwave and a full set of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. There's a wood burning stove plus gas and electric heaters. It has a large foyer/entryway for all your outdoor gear. The patio out back offers unobstructed views to the lake, while the log bench out front is a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over Wheeler Peak, NM's tallest.

Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Bunkhouse is detached and private for the guest.

This unique place has a style all its own. Resting in an old mining town with a great view of Baldy and Wheeler mountain. You can find us about halfway between Angel Fire and Red River, both amazing ski resorts! The bunkhouse is s 1 bedroom with a sitting room, an attached bathroom, and shower. we have TV, and the internet. My husband and I live in the house next door with our 2 friendly dogs, and cats, so if there are any concerns, we are close by. We would love to host you!

The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Cozy studio 1.5 miles from the base of Taos Ski Valley, on the banks of the Rio Hondo River. Newly renovated! One queen bed, one sofa bed, fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the river and national forest. Guests can use a communal washer/dryer and an elliptical machine. Great hiking and fishing right from front door! We also own another studio in the same complex that sleeps 4, and can be rented at the same time pending availability.

Charming Train Depot built in 1890

Enjoy a piece of railroad history! This train depot, built in 1890 was once located in Maxwell, New Mexico. This piece of history is beautifully refinished and is located in the country club addition of Raton. The nostalgic kitchen has the original writing on the walls, as the passengers went through and signed their names. The signatures are now kept behind plexiglass to preserve the handwriting.
