This little historic home was built just before the turn of the century and was one of the early homes in Raton. If you have a larger group please consider booking the Casita and/ or the Gallery House as well! They sit right next door and are equally cool spots! Thoughtfully updated to maintain its historic charm and add modern amenities. This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Pepper Sauce Camp Cabin 4

Cabin 4 is a rustic studio unit with a combination of dark wood and light blue adobe interior walls. It has a fully outfitted kitchen space with microwave, short fridge and a 4 burner gas stove. There is a kiva fireplace, a full size bed, 3/4 bath, table for two and a fold out sleeper loveseat that can sleep 1 or 2 more. It also has a two door entrance with foyer closet in between to keep your outdoor gear and it has gas as well as electric heat.

Charming Train Depot built in 1890

Enjoy a piece of railroad history! This train depot, built in 1890 was once located in Maxwell, New Mexico. This piece of history is beautifully refinished and is located in the country club addition of Raton. The nostalgic kitchen has the original writing on the walls, as the passengers went through and signed their names. The signatures are now kept behind plexiglass to preserve the handwriting.
