It was so far from Mishima Station inside the facility itself was good until it simple closet from light. Numazu, or think for travelers to visit the Mishima Station, the accommodation here is good. Mahoko was very kind and welcoming! She even came and found us when we got lost trying to find the place! It should be included in the description that it's the pink building. It's easy to find but we were unsure if it was the right building at first. The place was very clean. It's small but in a nice location for day trips to Fuji or Hakone onsen town. Everything in the apartment (shower, toilet, aircon, tv) worked great! The futons are a bit thin.

Small place suitable for a single or couple travelers. Has minifridge, electric stove, kettle, microwave, rice maker, AC and dishes for up to three people as well as toiletries. The only downside I found was that the shower was very small (I'm 1.90m / 6'3") and the hot water goes from burning hot to ice cold at constant intervals, may be due to boiler set-up. Land owner is very warm-hearted, they prepared breakfast for me. And help me to arrange the traffic to Tokyo. The house is very near beach, and you can see Fuji mountain in good weather. Nice place. Comfortable. Close to spas, convenience stores and food. 10 minute walk from Hara station. Very welcoming hosts. Both great people. Informative. The only note I'd make is that I was traveling with a female friend of mine and she felt a little uncomfortable because of the way she was treated. They were honestly lovely hosts and very welcoming but they mainly referred to myself and addressed her very little if at all. (Most likely) due to old fashioned or different ways of thinking.

Japan depth tour is ideal for travelers live. Front of the house is not far from the sea, behind the mountain, at home, you can see Mount Fuji. The landlord will give you recommend local natural hot springs and a variety of one or more Japanese play lines recommended. Next to Japan but also to live here!

Cozy and quaint home and area. A little away from the hustle and bustle of many tourist spots and yet very walkable, conveniently located, and close to public transportation. Extremely helpful and accommodating host~ went out of his way to help us find strawberry picking and local onsen. Would definitely recommend!

The host is really nice and caring person, he will help you in any way possible, we even had breakfast made by him and got a lift to the nearest train station after check out. Overall the place was big and spacious, comfortable bedding, close to shops and restaurants. Only bad thing for us is we couldn't see Mount Fuji because of the bad rainy weather :( but overall highly recommended!

Absolutely one of the best airbnb experiences I have ever had. Keii has a lovely house and sleeping Japanese style was actually very comfortable. Keii will do absolutely everything to make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. It is also nice as you get to learn about Japanese culture too. Please make sure you try his food, he is an excellent cook. I would happily stay there again and go on more adventures with Keiichirou.

The house is very Japanese style. Here has a decent and comfortable place. My friend and I stayed for 2 days, we had so much fun and chat with host. In first day, we asked the host to drive us around IZU peninsula, and he also took us to local sightseeing that only Japanese people know. I suggest that you should live here for once in your life. The host always prepare delicious local Japanese food that you can not eat ouside.(He is good at cooking) If you really want to have unique experience, then here is the best choice. Moreover, he likes to meet people around the world, and he starts learning English two years ago. If you talk to him in English slowly, he will be very happy By the way, his magic is extremely AMAZING!! We enjoyed to stay here very much, and had an unforgettable memory with the host.

I had a great time staying at Hostel Naruhodo! I stayed two nights and intended on using it to visit Hakone. I was able to visit Hakone for one day, but unfortunately, the weather was poor on the following day. Thankfully, Ken was so welcoming and generous to drive me around during the heavy rain, and he even took me to a couple awesome ramen and Sushi restaurants! The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Katahama station, but Ken was nice enough to pick me up, because I had my luggage. The room accommodations were comfortable. If I am lucky enough to travel back to Japan, and I'm in the area, I would definitely stay again.

My partner and I couldn't have been more glad. We'll definitely be back, and you should hit them up definitely for a truly local experience that isn't a postcard experience.

Cheryl was very articulate and very detailed in giving instructions. We had a nice time at her home. It's one of the homiest we've ever stayed in, in Japan (and we've been around). The lived-in feel was very nice.

They stay with Cheryl and Andy was really great. They are super friendly, caring and very likable. Really loved their place. If you think Numazu is not worth a visit them I can assure you that stying at Cheryls and Andys place is definetly worth it.

We could make it to Cheryl's Airbnb place. but I would like to stay that Cheryl's communication when we were having trouble trying to book activities around Mt Fuji where utmost incredible. Would have love to stay but unfortunately ran into some problems wen arriving in Japan

Satomi is a really kind and beautiful person. Her daughters are fun and very well behaved. Her animals are friendly. Numazu is a proud Japanese neighborhood with beautiful mountains and attractions. 10/10

Satomi, the awesome host. We first met on a highway at Hakone, where she offered me a ride (I declined as I'm trying to walk the old Tokaido road) Her daughters showed me around their home, and the guest room which is spacious and furnished with a huge bed. The way they share their space makes you feel like you're home. Even the pets, both are super well behaved, not to mention cute. If I'm ever in the area, I'll stop by for sure!

Mr. Satomi is a very natural posture, were they keep just good sense of distance. Interaction with dogs and cats of Satomi's home is also a big attraction. Dogs and cats am friendly, bedtime us sleeping together. We were happy to accommodate 4 people. Super will not even trouble to especially something seems to be what the store to close. You can find all the necessary utilities which are required for daily use in the house. Highly recommended for staying in such a comfortable place. What you needed to concern? Firstly, it is a shared house in which you need to live together with others, the host and her family with pets. Next, you may think of the privacy problem as the bathroom cannot be locked. Finally, please be reminded that the house has one toilet and bathroom each only, it is not recommended to have large group people. Try to discuss with Satomi, I think she will assist and arrange the best for your trip.

I fully enjoyed staying at Satomi's place with my daughter, just born in this May. The house is new, clean, and cozy. Hawaian mood of the bedroom made us feel relaxed. It was amazing even her kids helped taking care of my daughter. I am totally appreciated my daughter had a great experience to touch the living of them. I highly recommend Satomi's massage before going to bed. Hiromi is indeed a SUPER host who really took care of us from the moment we arrived at Mishima until we left 4 days later: Hiromi came to pick us up at the station, installed us in a perfectly clean, well ordered and comfortable apartment, took the time to explain to us what could be done in the surroundings, how to get to places of interest, gave us a map of the neighborhood and during our stay showed us round some of the places in the city we were interested to go to. She checked upon us every morning by email asking if we needed help for anything in order to facilitate our plans for the day. She could always be easily reached by and would offer help any time. To put it in a nutshell: Hiromi is an absolutely brilliant host we very warmly recommend !

The apartment was very nice, with a great Japanese feel & atmosphere, exactly as we could infer from the pictures. Hiromi is a very kind and helpful Japanese lady who did all she could to make us feel home and give us all sort of tips about restaurants, events, onsens etc. She lived in the US so it was easy to communicate in English. Check-in and check-out were made very easy as we used a mailbox in the building (but she did come to greet us and give us all the tips when time suited us). Mishima is a great place to access the beautiful Izu peninsula.

We were welcomed at Mishima station by the very warm and caring Hiromi. Being picked up was great after having walked all day as we were tired. Taken back to her neatly sized traditional japanese apartment we were immediately aware we had made the right choice. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for my girlfriend and i. Hiromi went out of her way to explain all the points of interest and also how to make our way to Mt Fuji which wasnt as straighy forward as I though. Without her advice we would have been stuck. We visited the local museum which at the time had Iwago Mitsuaki's "go with cats" which wa beautiful. Excellent value coupled with a fantastic host made this a holiday tk remember. Definitely would stay again.

Hiromi was an excellent host - she made contact with us quickly and she really made an effort to ensure that our stay in Mishima was what we wanted. She picked us up from the station and showed us the apartment, then took us through the options of what to see and do in the area. Hiromi very kindly took us to the post office and helped us mail home a box of gifts that we had been given earlier in our trip, which we wouldn't have been able to do without the assistance of someone who spoke Japanese. Hiromi also took us to the antique store where we bought some lovely pre-loved yukatas. She has lots of brochures in the apartment that outline what to see and do and also how to navigate public transport.

Hiromi was very nice and helpful in all our exchanges, both online before our arrival and in person. She came to pick us up from the train station and dropped us off when we left. I think Hiromi truly enjoys meeting new people from around the globe, and this shows. She is genuinely interested in learning about her guests and making sure they enjoy their stay in the area. She has booklets with maps and lots of information on suggested things to see and do around Mishima and took the time to explain various options to us. The apartment itself was fairly spacious with two tatami rooms and a pretty big kitchen. The apartment was neat and clean and had everything we needed. Mishima is pretty easy to navigate (Hiromi provided an annotated map) and the train station and a supermarket are in easy walking distance. I really enjoyed Hiromi's warm personality and staying in her apartment. I would definitely recommend stopping by Mishima and doing the same.

We had the great opportunity to stay for three days in the apartment of Hiromi which was really elegant and had a traditional-japanese decoration. We enjoyed the traditional tatami and futon. Hiromi is a very helpful person, she came to pick us up from the station and made our stay wonderful with all her indications. Mishima is a very nice place. Its not touristic, something that we really enjoyed and all the nice touristic places are very well connected with several buses per day (45 min to everywhere like Hakone lake or Fuji Mt.) So we had a wonderful time and everything was very convenient. I should note at this point that we suggest the local onsen that is one of the best we saw in Japan for the moment, even better than the famous Lake Hakone's touristic onsens! We just loved it! Thank you Hiromi for being such a great host and we really hope that we will meet u again in Mishima!! Certainly a place to come again!

We arrived while it was snowing. So it felt like straight out of a story book. Imagine snow outside and a toasty fireplace inside. Is a little secluded. Which is why we chose it. So do as we did and hire a car. Will make life so much easier. Visited Hakone, Mt Fuji and enjoyed things like Onsen, Fuji Q highlands and more. As a family of 4 we found it just ideal. Recommend to those with a more adventurous nature.

We liked this cozy cabin very much. Enough room for four adults and one child. The cabin had everything we needed. Very nice location, beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Golfcourse and a little Tenniscourt nearby. Naomi and Frode were fantastic hosts and easy to communicate with. Good location for trips to Lake Ashi, Hakonearea and the cost. Although a car is recommended. We would like to come back. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Our stay in the Mountain Cabin in Mishima was fabulous! The house was huge and very comfortable. If you plan to stay in this place you should seriously consider what transports you plan to use. The taxi in Japan is quite expensive and the nearest bus stop is approximately 40 minute walk away from the house. The best way is to use a car. Naomi and Frode left a lot of information about local activities we should do and see and also a basket of Japanese sweets. If we had questions about the house or others things in Japan that we could not solve, Naomi and Frode where easy to reach and communicate. I could say that it was a brilliant example how should an AirBnB place look like! This was my first AirBnB experience and Naomi and Frode made it perfect! P.s. In a clear day you can see Mount Fuji from the second floor!

Naomi and Frode's cabin was the perfect place for us with young kids to stay. It was very private, good size and had everything we needed. When we had question, they responded quickly and we could enjoy our stay throughout. would love to stay here again if we come back to Hakone.

The best place I could ever find, wonderful and just a dream! I checked out and felt like new born, with this comfortable and clean house, its chimney and direct view to Fuji. Frode and Naomi made everything just fantastic and helped from first interest to check-out. Thank you a lot for sharring that beautiful place!

We had a perfect stay in Frode's and Naomi's Mountain Cabin. The house is awesome and cozy. It offers a warm athmosphere and there was nothing we could miss. Frode and Naomi even surprised us with a big basket of food and snacks! All our questions were answered immediately. The house itself is spacious for four adult people and one or two children. There is a big garden around the house. From the top floor we had an excellent view of mount Fuji! Hakone itself is a beautiful spot to spend some time outside of busy Tokyo and not too far to go. A highlight for us was the wonderful oven, heated with wood that made a cozy warm athmosphere during our stay over New Years! We definitely will recommend this location and want to visit again next time in Japan! Akiko, Bernd & Yuma

It is a great experience for us. Naomi & Frode suggested us driving or taking a taxi to the house, it is very very important! Cause around the house is all mountain roads. Thanks for Naomi & Frode's suggestion! Our two girls can not climb 3km mountain road with their luggage.

Shingo and his family are all very nice. He picked us up at train station and gave us suggestion about our trip. His wife made wonderful breakfast for us everyday and gave us Japanese souvenirs when we leaved. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable.

Song Sang village house is great! Is a two-story bungalow, we live in the 2nd floor, it is very large, the tatami. Lady of Good warm Oh! She talked for a long time and animation, super happy! Home many, many comics, television recording and broadcasting of programs is also very rich, young son and I also saw Antony www Check the first day we go with the cheap and tasty sushi! Staying here is really great.

Shingo was the nicest host who was extremely helpful and generous. He helped us organise our day trip to the Mishima bridge to see Mt Fuji, provided us with helpful directions around Mishima, and gave us the most generous breakfast one could ask for. Thank you so much for everything, Shingo and we hope to see you again!

Shingo and his family were very kind and hospitable. The upstairs area where the room is was very tidy and comfortable. Only downside is the area was not very lively, mt Fuji is almost two hours away, and we couldn't find an onsen nearby easily accessible via train or bus. Despite this there is a fun revolving sushi place walking distance and Mishima skywalk is also nearby.

I enjoyed my stay with Shingo, Aki and Chiaki. They welcomed me with open arms and went out of their way to make dinner and breakfast for me. Even though I stayed for one night, I definitely felt at home here.

The most INCREDIBLE Airbnb experience! Shingo and Akiyo went way above and beyond as hosts! They couldn't have made up feel more welcome, from collecting us from the train station, taking us out for dinner to meet their friends, drinking with them at their Irish bar to cooking us breakfast and fresh bread. Shingo is a talented musician and his bar is well worth a visit in the evening. He helped us organise a trip to Fuji and was always on hand to answer questions or advise as required.The room is enormous and very comfortable. The house has everything you could want and a plentiful supply of Irish tea! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a stay here

i stayed for two night to Shingo's house with his nice family :) all were very kind and friendly with me, i really enjoyed my stay there. They made all what they could to let me feel at home, the room was great, spacious and very comfortable. Shingo was so nice with me and made all as posible to let me feel comfortable as he bring me to his friends place and then to his Pub and i could met people with who i could spoke too, all of this some such great good memories of my stay in the nice city of Mishima! thanks so much for all!! 200% recommended if you want spend good time and with good connexion to see Mt Fuji and also in the local area interesting thing about story about Kakita river :)

Shingo and his family are lovely people. Very warm, welcoming and lovely to us and our two girls. Their younger soon is super sweet. He shared his toys with our girls and they all played together despite the language. Aki-san, Shingo's wife, was also lovely and prepared us an amazing sukiyaki one evening. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with the family, if you don't mind that. Truly Japanese home experience if I may say. Their home is also close to the main street in Mishima where you will find plenty of nice restaurants to eat. There is also a coin laundry close by. The only downside for us was the smell of cigarette in the house, otherwise it was an amazing experience. Great and very hospitable family.

We stayed at Kohei's place in Numazu for two nights. It is a comfortable small Japanese style house, very homy. The host came to pick us up at Numazu Station, which was a very good thing because it would have been difficult otherwise. After that we had no contact with Kohei. We used the two bycicles, perfect way to get around!

This place was as wonderful as advertised! It was very clean, warm (as Japanese places go), and comfortable. The host, Mr. Yamada, was very gracious and kind— even going so far as to pick me up from the station. There is a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji in my morning run, and the neighbors were friendly. If you want the experience of living in a quiet Japanese neighborhood. This place is perfect. Thank you so much, Kohei and Yamada!

We had a wonderful time at Numazu, and we really loved the traditional Japanese style appartment. We had everything we needed. The bikes were also a plus, so we could get around easily. The shower and bath were really nice. Thank you Kohei and the home owners who picked us up from the station and helped us out with the WiFi!

The rooms were equipped well as the kitchen, which was also suitable for consecutive nights stay, is the corner of one house-denominated housing complex of wooden bungalow. Mild owner and his wife will please contact a good distance degree is. Furniture of Oboshiki Japanese style and travel for people from foreign countries, had been decorated throughout.
