This place is like a bay in heaven. Located steps to the lake, with a greatest balcony view! Hosts are very friendly and cooperative. Description is accurate, house is exactly the same as in photos. It's one of the best for such value.

Such a pleasant stay for me and my husband after four days on the road. Easy to find, excellent location, beautiful scenery, updated furnishings, well stocked, etc. We just loved it and hope to be back.

I really cannot complain about a single thing here. We really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves the whole time. We stayed really low key and became pretty lazy on the rainy days. This is a beautiful little studio with a nice sized kitchen area, bathroom and the best part of it all is the porch/deck looking over the lake. Very quiet area and it was perfect to get out and go for motorcycle rides. Host was very accommodating in our trailer for the bikes and the dog we brought along. All-in-all I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The ability to use the gym (though we didn't) is an added bonus.

we had a lovely stay. veronica was a delightful host and the place was clean, inviting, and peaceful. it was about 20 minutes from providence and 45 minutes from newport. we would definitely stay again if ever coming through the area again.

What a place! It far exceeded our expectations . . . The front deck overlooking the water was breathtaking and so serene. The studio was spacious, colorful and clean. Veronica and her family greeted us with fresh-laid eggs that were incredibly delicious! The location was secluded, safe, and easy to access. It reminded me of summer's spent as a youth at Coventry's Camp Hamilton. After 3 frenetic days in NYC, staying at Veronica's was absolutely perfect! On a 5 star scale, we'd give it at least a 7! We hope to come back and enjoy the Kayaks Neil & Sousan

Beautiful views, lovely neighborhood, and a very well equipped kitchen and living area made this a wonderful place to rest and recuperate while touristing around Rhode Island for a few days. Not quite warm enough yet to get out on the water, will save that for a future visit. Highly recommended!

Staying at Beverly's place was an absolute pleasure. I came to stay for the Newport Folk Festival, and her place was an easy drive to and from Newport. She was more than accommodating to meet me for early check in, and was kind and friendly upon arrival, and throughout my stay. Beverly's home is beautiful and spacious, and the room had everything I needed. The bathroom was conveniently located right next to my room, which was a plus. My stay was quiet and peaceful, and made much better by the very welcoming presence of Beverly, who was kind enough to offer me breakfast each morning. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to visit the Newport/Providence area of Rhode Island.

I stayed with Beverly over a weekend, when I was visiting RI for a trip (to film sharks!) Beverly is really very nice, because of my trip, I arrived late and she met me and helped me get settled. I had to cancel for one day as due to the weather my trip got pushed back a day and she was very kind and accommodating. Her place is great, really feels like home and has a nice breakfast for everyone. As a plus I got to meet a very nice couple who were also staying there and discuss sharks with them. I would certainly visit again!

Beverly was very good at communicating promptly before the reservation was confirmed and was genuinely interested in making my stay comfortable after I arrived. Her rooms are very clean and the house and hostess are both charming. The house is situated in the woods and was very quiet and pleasant at night for sleeping. All three rooms are on the second floor and share one large bathroom with a tub and separate shower. There were no other guests when I was there, but I wouldn't have minded sharing the bathroom. A lovely, leisurly continental breakfast was served 7-9am in the dining room. I spent two nights here and plan to return next October.

This is my second year staying with Beverly. I think it will become an annual event. I was happy to see that this year the "little room" has a new larger bed! Beverly really goes out of her way to make your stay peaceful and comfortable. She's constantly attuned to your comfort in terms of heat in the winter and a light breakfast in the morning. If you're in the area I highly recommend this place.

Sue is super friendly and helpful and got back to me right away. House is very clean with a beautiful kitchen,dining room, comfy sectional couch,with cable and Wi-Fi and on the hot days central air conditioning,and the house has a nice layout.Had everything we needed and more. Right out the rear slider there is a nice little deck with a grille.And right off the backyard there is a dock which you can go swimming or fish off. The pond is very clean and what a view.We went swimming and bought a little inflatable boat which we used right off the dock.At night there is a nice little fire pit which we used every night, and we had a flock of ducks come visit us every time we lite the fire.Close by to the stores in case you need anything. Would definitely recommend this place.Can't wait to come back next year.

Feels like I was home. Everything was so beautiful, clean, and amazing.

I rented the house for my son who got married in Texas and was coming home on leave with his family (whom we'd had yet to meet)(URL HIDDEN) was close to all our family in Coventry and so much better than renting them a hotel for his leave time.................they loved it, the kids (2, 5 and 7 y/o) had a blast swimming, fishing, making s'mores, feeding the ducks! The neighborhood is quiet and not busy. Susan was very accommodating as to the use of everything in the house. The house itself has all modern amenities and was in tip top c(URL HIDDEN) was so wonderful they didn't want to (URL HIDDEN) son will be deploying soon and I wanted him to have the perfect stay while he was home.......................Susan, thank you and my son and his family thank you ever so (URL HIDDEN) be a time long remembered for him and our entire family.

Susan's place is on a nice lake in a very quiet area, except for the speedboats on the lake during weekends. The lake is clean and great for swimming or floating. Susan was very nice and welcoming, and she made sure that we were comfortable and found everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

My stay here was a fantastic experience for my first airbnb, and the cottage was absolutely adorable. It became a home away from home during my work trip, and I was so sad to leave! I loved that the cottage was private and located in the rural central area of Rhode Island, so I could not only enjoy nature, but be in the perfect spot to get to any desired location within a reasonably short driving distance. I can recommend without any hesitation for anyone interested in staying here, and I will definitely be back!

A wonderful cozy, scenic getaway spot in Rhode Island. We enjoyed the beautiful lake setting while also being well-situated to explore Providence, Newport, and nearby Rhode Island destinations. We spent a weekend here with this as our base and enjoyed the seclusion as well as the convenience. Great to walk around the lake area as well. A tidy, comfy place. You'd definitely need a car to stay here since it's a bit secluded. Check in was easy and Amanda was prompt in responding to any questions we had. Would be happy to return.

We spent a lovely couple of nights staying with Beverly and it was just what we wanted. The location was great, as we wanted to stay somewhere peaceful and quiet but still be close to Mystic Seaport as well as the Newport area. The room is very spacious, and there is a substantial choice of good movies for entertainment. Everything was very clean and organised and we were also very pleased with breakfast. Last but not least we had a great time talking to Beverly, thank you for helping us have a very relaxing time off.

It was a very pleasant stay at Beverly's. The place is neat, calm and peaceful. The room was just like in the pictures. The bathroom was clean. The outdoor space around the house was very peaceful. We ate our breakfast in the porch on the swing on both days. Beverly was very pleasant and helpful with suggesting local attractions. We are looking forward to our next trip.

Beverly was a wonderful, wonderful host: A very sweet and kind lady, extremely respectful of our privacy and nice to all of the people in her Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are huge, with AC, TV, a desk, and a lovely collection of VHS tapes and DVDs. The bathroom is gorgeous, with a great shower and tub, all very clean and brand new. And the breakfast had everything you could imagine. Its a self-served one, but she had a great variety of espresso coffee and tea. Overall a wonderful experince and absolutely recommended.

I have a fair amount of experience with Airbnb, so I think I can recognize an exceptional experience. Most places are good to collapse, sleep and leave. Lifen and Dan are very personable, and really do offer up their very comfortable house. This time, I had a fair amount of computer work to do, and the back deck looks out on a delightful pond with swans. Very relaxing, comfortable and clean. Was more like a vacation rental than an Airbnb.

Lifen and Dan were amazing hosts. They did everything to make you feel very welcome. The guest quarters were absolutely perfect! There are three rooms so guest or guests have their individual rooms and share a bathroom amongst them. That worked out fine as there was also another guest bathroom which was available if needed. The shower had every possible thing you could need. I very much enjoyed my stay. This was my first time to Rhode Island so I had no idea what to expect as far as the location I enjoyed where I stayed very much however it was a bit of a drive to go visit the areas I wanted to see but overall it wasn't a problem ! If people want a place to relax this is the best place ever.

Having grown up in a neighboring town, I knew the area but had never really spent time at Lake Tiogue. The location is delightful right on the lake! A cup of coffee or glass of wine on the dock with the ducks is just the remedy for anything! Lifen and Dan are warm and welcoming hosts who give you the company or privacy you need. They have set up the house to make it easy for a stay. Being able to add some cash to the tip jar for a bottle of wine rather than trying to find a liquor store was convenient for example [Although Dave's Marketplace is not far and one of my fav grocery stores]. The Keurig coffee maker is ideal for BnB situations and alternatives to Half & Half were welcome! The house itself is spotless. 3 guestrooms share 2 bathrooms but as in all BnB's guests tend to be respectful of others. Breakfast on the outdoor patio was a treat and it was easy to find a space to work on a laptop [good high-speed internet] in the spacious common rooms. All in all another wonderful AirBnB experience and will definitely come back when visiting my 90-year old Dad!

Lifen and Dan are an interesting couple and very friendly, welcoming hosts. They have a beautiful home, with a lake lapping at the lawn, and go the extra mile to make sure their guests are happy and have everything they need. It's a social place to stay, with an honesty bar and plenty of opportunity to sit, talk and eat out on the deck. As they suggest, a car is almost essential to get to this rural property and from there into the neighboring towns. We were in the smallest of three bedrooms which, for some strange reason, is also used to store random items like an old rocking chair and the in-house "library", further reducing precious floor space. The other two bedrooms are larger and overlook the lake, so well worth asking for when you book.

Lifen and Dan very kind and cordial . Their home was very comfortable and lovely. I only wish that I had had more time to explore the lake. I had a very good nights rest there .

From the moment I walked in the door Dan made me feel welcome. He is easy to talk to and a genuinely nice person. Although I didn't get to meet his wife, communicating with her before I arrived was very prompt and went smoothly. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and greenery and the lake was quite peaceful. The bathroom was so clean, this made me very happy and comfortable. It is a nice neighborhood and I felt very safe staying there. Karen is a friendly and thoughtful host, and the apartment is lovely. With outdoor eating spaces, a beautiful garden and a frog pond, it's the perfect getaway not far from Boston (or Providence or Connecticut). Karen was always available to answer questions and even left us muffins and juice on the deck each morning. A very welcoming and generous host. We would stay again without question.

My friends and I had such a great stay at Karen's place. She was so sweet and helpful and gave us advice on what to do around Rhode Island. I would 100% recommend anyone to this place! We loved that she had horses and pets at her place. The property is so pretty!

Karen was incredibly accommodating—I had to change my checkin time the day of my arrival and she cancelled her evening plans! The apartment was clean and comfortable, coffee was available, and she had juice and a muffin waiting for me in the morning. The rural setting was lovely. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Karen and joe were amazing hosts! The farm is beautiful and the area is perfekt for hiking. They even provided us with neon jackets because the hunting season in the area already started. Karen not only provided a lovely breakfast( cinnamon buns, muffins and orange juice) but gave us also really good advices where to go in Providence. The apartment was really cozy and neat decorated,but in the morning you could hear some noise from above because they live above the apartment. But why would you sleep in when there is such a nice area for hiking, walking and just enjoying the nature right across the doorstep?

Karen's place is great! we were there for only one night but after spending the whole day out and about in the rain on an autumn day, it was a pleasure to be welcomed into this warm and homey space. Communication with the host was great, she greeted us upon arrival and had some muffins and juice prepared for when we woke up in the morning, which was a super nice gesture. If I'm around Rhode Island again I will definitely stay at Karen's farm!

I wanted to paint there but ran out of time. Next time I will do this.

Dana's place is a real dream come true - walking around the area surrounding the cabin felt like being in Narnia! My girlfriend and I only spent one night there, but that was plenty of time to fall in love with this place. Dana is a very welcoming and knowledgeable host. We were very happy with our stay and plan on returning.

Such a lovely location ! Get up early and take a jaunt along the paths out back; especially if you are a birder ! Very clean and comfy accommodations. Loads of privacy and quiet. Very easy check-in and communications. I didn't have a chance to meet Dana yet I certainly enjoyed her very spacious property which was in full May bloom with lovely landscaping.

Perfect quiet getaway. Loved the cabin from the moment we stepped through the doors. The grounds surrounding the cabin were beautiful, colorful and the huge. It's easy to get lost in the quiet. Inside was the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway for 2. 4 could easily sleep here comfortably, but to really enjoy the cabin, 2 would be best. Although Dana was out of town, she had everything ready for us when we arrived, and she made sure if we did need anything (which we didn't) she had a backup person , for us to contact. She thought of everything. This was a perfect getaway. A definitely must if you're staying in the area.

It was a great experience staying at the Zinks residences, they were very accommodating beautiful grounds and a very friendly dog named johnny, when we come back to visit we will definitely stay at the Zinks cabin again.

This guest house met our every expectation! Private, very quiet, beautiful location. We arrived later than anticipated due to a bad rainstorm and Dana was so flexible. We were able to stay in touch via text, and she greeted us with a plate of warm brownies when we finally arrived! There were breakfast items and coffee available for us as well. We will definitely stay here on future trips.

I stayed one night at Angela's cabin... I wish I had more time and that it wasn't raining, so I could have taken advantage of the beautiful surroundings! The cabin itself was cozy and relaxing, and even though the storm knocked the power out, I could still make breakfast on the gas range. I'd love to come back in the spring!

The cabin by the lake was perfect for a couple of days in the countryside to enjoy the foliage. Angela communicated really quickly and welcomed us on our arrival. There are several lovely paths for walking from the cabin - through the forest or round the lake. The highlight of our stay was the sauna! An an=mazing lake-side sauna and you can cool off under the stars. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Had a wonderful four day get away before my winter holiday came to an end. The woods in this area were very beautiful. We walked through them everyday and it was just what was needed.

My boyfriend and I had an incredible experience at this cozy cabin, which is situated on a beautiful piece of land steps from a wood-fired sauna and shimmering lake. Angela was extremely communicative and helpful in planning our stay and greeting us, and we truly enjoyed ourselves in nature. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful place,very woodsy and comfortable.The cabin was warm and very clean. The sauna was great, we took 4 saunas in 2 days. Took a nice walk in the woods. We had a camp fire and cooked salmon over the open fire. They provided all the wood for the fire , which is nice. We visited the horses, met the Ginny hens. We where looking for a very quiet and peaceful weekend and that's exactly what we experienced.

We had a restful and relaxing stay at Angela's cabin. It was clean, well appointed and the view of the lake was amazing. So peaceful. We were in the area for a concert at Mohegan Sun and the commute to and from was perfect. We would definitely recommend it to our family & friends!

My friends and I had wonderful night at Ellis Cabin. The Cabin was very charming and warm welcoming with welcome flowers on the porch, decor, the welcome letters. My friends and I had a great night sleep. We loved everything about it, we only wished we got in earlier to spends more time exploring and more time around the lake. We are already talking about another girls weekend to the cabin.

Simply perfect! We could not have wished for a more relaxing setting for a great weekend with friends. It was a fantastic stay at Allan's lovely lake house. Both my mother and brother loved it! Allan and his mother are great hosts. We chilled by the lake for three amazing days. What an amazing weekend up at the Lake House. The best accommodation we have stayed at bar none. Alan and his family were warm, welcoming and fun to be around when we saw them from time to time during the stay. The place was authentically homely with all the necessaries for our stay. We BBQ'd, sat by the lake, swam, made a fire and took in the beauty of his grounds and the surrounded lake area! We will be back.

Had a great stay! Went with a group of 4 friends and our small dog and we had such a great time. The house is lovely, very clean and comfortable. Robert is a great and wonderful host. The bedroom had everything I needed. Ceiling fan, blackout shades, nice comfy bed, and even my own full bathroom. His house also comes fully equipped with coffee maker, kitchen utensils, plates, cups, etc... It has everything. The place is also very secluded but extremely close to grocery stores and restaurants. I very much enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again!

Second time I have stayed here at Robert's home. Everything about my stay was Great! Personable, immaculate, central, and comfortable.

This is a lovely, cozy apartment nestled in a garden of forget-me-nots with the most beautiful periwinkle door! The living space is roomy for two with a convenient electromagnetic cooktop and small frig. The area is an avian wonderland and is great for walking and exploring. Constance greeted us upon arrival and could not have been more hospitable. She even provided a blow dryer upon request. There is plenty of closet space and the availability of the laundry room is a plus. The bathroom is very well appointed and the shower is roomy, however if you are someone who needs a hot, forceful shower this will not suit you. We found the garden walkout a great way to start our vacation in the New England.

I was in town for the Newport folk festival, and Constance's home offered the perfect refuge after long, hot, dusty days outside. Her home is in a beautiful, lush neighborhood that was quiet and peaceful but a short drive from restaurants & shops. The space is a garden-level apartment, and it perfectly met our needs. There was space for me and my friend to relax and lounge, and we were able to make breakfast every morning. Constance was kind, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. I would definitely stay with her again!

We enjoyed staying in this lovely little apartment with its comfy living room and bedroom and its extensive and ecclectic book collection. Constance is a wonderful host who provided information about the area and was available for any questions. Coffee and bagels were available to us for breakfast. We were only there overnight, and it met our needs in every way.

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband. The good: We were met promptly upon our arrival. The walk through was friendly & informative. Bookshelves full of books & movies. The bed was comfy, if a bit creaky. The kitchen was well equipped with glasses, plates, silverware etc.. There was an apparatus for cooking, which we did not use, a microwave and a coffee maker. Constance was nice to provide coffee & milk as well. A beautiful bathroom with a strong, hot shower was appreciated. There were 2 heaters on the wall if needed. The place is cute and super quiet, parking right out front and a short drive to East Greenwich. We went to "T's", the local hotspot in town for breakfast. Very busy, good food. Ok, now the bad: After we were alone I looked a little closer. The kitchen & bathroom sinks didn't have a recently cleaned look. I lifted the soap dish in the bathroom and there was a large dark hair under it. I then lifted up the toilet seat & was horrified. It was not "oops I missed a spot" dirty. It was very dirty. At home I clean the toilet once or twice a week and it never looks that bad. The toilet tank even had a layer of dust. I like to be prepared and had brought disinfectant wipes. I quickly cleaned the toilet & sink. I looked around some more. The shower looked fine. A few of the light switches were visibly dirty. A dark one came away brown on the wipe. After this I felt paranoid. Were the sheets clean? I could not come up with any explanation for that really dirty toilet. I was honestly embarrassed to say anything. We never used the microwave but looked at it the next night. The keypad was dirty. I opened it. The top inside of it was heavily splattered. In the end, we paid over $200 for 2 nights (including a $35 cleaning fee!). A little easy cleaning & this place would have been perfect.

This place was perfect for my weekend in RI! I was attending a dog trainers reunion, and it was wonderful to come back here after a busy day and just be. Cozy, comfortable, and just enough room to stretch out! It was great having the kitchen amenities as well as the Keurig. Couldn't have picked a better spot! Constance was also very easy to get in touch with and made sure I had everything I needed for a good stay!

Constance left a very warm, descriptive and detailed welcome packet for me, from what to do with the keys at the end of the stay to where to eat locally. The apartment was spotless, dry and cool (on one of the hottest days of the year), and we had no trouble finding our way around the apartment or the town.

We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable. Constance had bought breakfast for us which was great and we appreciated to do laundry. Everything was clean and cozy. Great location.

Constance has a very warm and inviting apartment that is surrounded by such a beautiful garden. She provided all the amenities to make our stay very comfortable and pleasant. It is quite spacious with a full sitting room that has an incredible collection of books. It is very centrally located which allows for convenient travel to surrounding sites, shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood is also beautiful. We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay.
