Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. This special get away is close to stores and Poconos seasonal activities, but tucked away for your relaxation and enjoyment.

The Shanty at Blue Mountain

The Shanty is a one room cottage for a weekend get-away, a short to long-term work assignment or the perfect spot for creative work like composing or writing. It is three miles from access to the Appalachian Trail and is an ideal respite for thru hikers. It is only 30 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. It is a sunny room just a few steps from a private bathroom in the main house. Views to the west and north of the Blue Mountain.

A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
