Apartment holiday rentals in Sabaragamuwa Province

This was our first stay at Nimendra’s place and certainly won’t be our last, we’re already planning to return! The apartment felt like home, with a calm atmosphere and access to excellent shared facilities. The pool and gym were spotless and inviting, and the views of the Knuckles range were simply breathtaking. One heads-up for future guests: on arrival, we were asked by building staff (not Nimendra) to open and unpack our luggage entirely as part of a check-in procedure. We respect the security, but after an 11-hour flight and a long drive to Kandy on the same day, it wasn’t the warmest welcome, this could be better flagged in advance. In the flat, a few extra kitchen items (e.g. pasta strainer, dish rack, dustpan) would make self-catering easier. Despite these, everything else about the stay was top-notch. The space was quiet, spotless, and well thought out, and Nimendra was helpful and responsive throughout. A lovely stay in every way!

Such a great and calm place to relax! The location is very convenient—we reached from town in just 5 minutes. The apartment was spotless, neat, and well-maintained. All four rooms had air conditioning, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed . The views were beautiful, and the water pressure in the bathrooms was excellent. We also received an extra bed upon request, which was very helpful. Inshaf, the host, was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. I searched many places, but this was the best price in town and very reasonable. I truly wished I could’ve stayed longer—will definitely come again!

Best experience in Kandy. Central position but far away from the traffic, it seems to stay in a green bubble… lot of nature around. Good Wi-Fi connection and nice furniture in the House. Perfect for a couple/ Host beyond expectations. We stayed 10 days proposed to change towels, always available for questions and to support. With you all the best as you deserve it and Made my experience in Sri Lanka on my last days a little bit better . Recommended ;)

Insanely nice staff and great facility in the middle of the Jungle. But it was also a bit difficult to get there. Especially great was the natural pool with small waterfall and the best massage we've ever had. We would love to come back.

He made sure we felt at home and all our needs are met. The house is beautiful and spacious. The security was also very nice and helpful. If you’re looking for a safe and cozy place, this is it. We had a great stay in Lake Villa. Location is bit far from the city however it’s a really calm and quiet location with all amenities. Staff was very friendly and responsive.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. Apartment itself was spacious, super clean, well maintained and conveniently located. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was readily available. Host is very reliable, friendly and answered always! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We felt like home. highly recommend this place.

Lovely family! Super clean rooms. Helpful recommendations and local ride/ tour of area arranged for us. We opted to eat supper cooked right there…IT WAS DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. Location was so perfect- Leave train station, cross road and go up stairs to house. Loved our stay.

I really enjoy my 2 days trips. It was really cool and calm. Owner was so friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed with large bathrooms. Kitchen equipment was nice. But there is dust everywhere I think long time no one use this apartment. Nether-less , everything was good. Thanks I highly recommend 🫶🫶

We had a very enjoyable stay. The host was very responsive and went out of his way to make us comfortable. The workers on site were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen had all what we needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were more than what we expected. Clean and comfortable place and I recommend the place wholeheartedly. 5 min walk to the Katugasthota city center. 30 min car ride to the Kandy city center. Most banks and shops are just within reach. If you need a Tuk, they are just outside the main gate.

Very nice place with amazing furniture, we were allowed to use the music speakers and vinyls and had a good time. Gayan and his son liv on the upper level and are very caring. It’s approximately 20-30 minutes out of Kandy but therefore very quiet and invites to chill.

We booked Cheshan's place in less than 12 hours before arriving. The host quickly replied to our questions. He and the caretaker were very helpful and agreed to take our luggage for storage before checking in. The place itself is lovely and within walkable distance to the center and the lake. The apartment is in the new building with underground parking and a pub nearby. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this apartment for fellow travelers.

Everything was as described. This spacious, clean and well equipped apartment is in a very good neighbourhood. The family were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They even supplied tea and washing powder. Great value. I would highly recommend this place.
