Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Sabaragamuwa Province

The Officers Mess is a superb find, with fascinating history. It's been transformed into to a light, modern, space with a great eye for interior design. Sat on the veranda, the view outside is idealic, and the dogs frisking around on the lawn are adorable. Andrew is an amazing host, and left us feeling like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, we ate some of the most delicious food we've had so far in Sri Lanka, and left feeling more knowledgeable about this beautiful country, wishing we could stay at the Officers Mess a while longer. Great place to stay for a night in Kandy. Clean and good AC. The staff was friendly and the meals were delicious.

We had a great time. The accommodation is perfectly located for hiking, and has fabulous hosts who provided us great advice on the different hikes. Would definitely recommend.

Rasika was an amazing host and did everything more than even a super host. We were two guys travelling in the troubled time for srilanka. however we didn't experience any difficulty in srilanka. Rasika was all the while giving us accurate information. He hosted us so well. He is a jack of all trades and the conversation with him for a few minutes made me feel like he was family. They opened their warm home with an amazing garden to us which was so comfortable to crash after a tired drive from colombo. the facilities are same as in the picture. He and his family were always there to help us with our needs. He even allowed me to invade his kitchen to make my own tea and coffee. we only wished we could have stayed longer at his place. I wish him the best in all his endeavours.

Not as close to Adams Peak as it sounds, still 1.5hrs in a tuk tuk. However the caretaker there was amazing, he packed us breakfast for our 3:30am leave time to hike Adams Peak, and made delicious meals for dinner and lunch and booked us tuk tuks.

We had a super nice stay here. Really generous and super friendly hosts. I would definitely book it again. Thank you so much for everything !

The Weir House is definitely one of the most beautiful and pleasant places I have stayed in Sri Lanka. The house is wonderfully designed and decorated, it’s so well done up to the smallest details. We felt so at ease and extended our stay because of that! The staff was amazing, so kind and welcoming. Mr Asiri and his team really took the best care of us and our 1 year old son. Also, the food was the best - compliments to the wonderful chefs! Next time I visit Sri Lanka, a stay at the Weir House will be high on my list. If you love nature, architecture, design and great hospitality - this is the place to be.

Hands down the best place we have stayed in over our month we spent in Sri Lanka. Sadly, we stayed only one night but will gladly recommend this place for longer stays! The place is amazing, with quiet surroundings, immersed in jungle. Room is equipped with everything you need, and sparkling clean. The staff is very kind, attentive, and always helpful. The host himself cared for us very much, and is a true expert in running a hospitality business. Highly recommended!

Our stay was great from the first moment until the end. We felt very welcomed by the the lovely host familiy, who cared a lot for us and gave us good advices for Nuwara Eliya. The house is very modern, the rooms are nice and clean. The Location is great, since you have stunning view over the town from above. The breakfast was always delicous. They also arranged our transport to the Airport, which was a fantastic help and a cheaper option than it would have been from a driver conpany. Thank you so much!!!

Amazing place, everything was exactly how it was mentioned and in the photos. The staff was very friendly and helped us with the transportation for the Adam’s Peak climb. The food they cooked was delicious.

Stay here was awesome and super easy. scenic look down the hill, place was clean and the included breakfast was yummy with fresh fruits, omelet & tea/coffee. Host was super helpful with any of our questions. Such value for money, would return.

We had a real good time there. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the host and his family were really kind. It’s not the most luxurious flat but I would book again. Especially if you take the train from Nanu oya to Ella it’s perfect because it’s in walking distance to the train and you can visit n. Eliya also really easily
