Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint George Island

We were extremely pleased with the Aargh House for our spring break trip. The layout of the property was within walking distance to the stores and restaurants on the island but also private enough that you didn't feel that the area was crowded. We often like to cook when we vacation and found the Aargh House as one of the best stocked kitchens from any Airbnb we rented from. We will be looking at vacationing here again.

This location is EXACTLY what our family wanted in a vacation. Squeaky clean and well-maintained home, private and quiet, easy access to the beach, and all the items we need to enjoy the beach! This is a fantastic option if you just want to get away from the crowds and always have a dedicated spot on the beach you can walk to in seconds. We loved being able to easy head back to the deck/lanai for lunches (as well as eating out there for dinners). And the star-gazing at night was amazing! Definitely recommend getting groceries on the way to the place, but there are quite a few good restaurants that are ~20 minute drive away in Panacea. The host has great communication and obviously cares about the details; this is one of our first vacation rentals we had no issues with. Well, we did have one light bulb burn out :-)

We just got back from our stay & words can’t describe how PERFECT this place was. We have stayed at quite a few beach homes & this has by far been our favorite. The house and ocean is absolutely gorgeous. The hosts have provided everything you may need and MORE. My 2 young boys enjoyed the body boards, jumbo noodles, nets for catching crabs, and so much more they provided. They even provided life jackets which put me more at ease for my kids safety. The golf cart was a nice extra as well, we drove down the road to the nature reserve to see wildlife. The house was clean and had anything you may need during your stay. We went out each day and ate at a different restaurant and enjoyed all the locals! The host was very polite and responsive. We give it a 10/10 and plan to be back soon :)

Igor’s place was perfect. Definitely a 5 minute walk to the beach and sparkling clean. He checked in us regularly and made the process easy.

We had a few minor issues with the outside lights and pool light not working. Shellie was very responsive. The outside trash from previous guest wasn't picked up by garbage service until we had been there 3 days. We did mention it. The home is older and could use some updates but it was still a nice place to stay with lots of room for the eight of us. The location is good, pool is nice, loved the screened porches, plenty of pots, pans and dishes, plenty of seating in the living room. Overall, it was good stay and we would be happy to stay again.

We had the best time at Michelle’s place! Not only was Saint George Island beautiful, but her house was perfect for us and our best four legged friend 🐶 Michelle was very communicative and responsive during our entire stay, which is always reassuring when away on vacation and staying in someone else’s home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting SGI ❤️

We’ve been visiting SGI for 14 years and stay all across the island. We love staying directly on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. Master bed was comfy. Inside was Very clean. We will be back to visit this home.

Mara’s place was wonderful! The pictures do not do it justice! The walk to the beach is short and beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. Mara was exceptionally responsive and helpful. My family and I want to come back next year!

The condo is very nice, clean, peaceful. Pictures are wonderful in showing you what to expect yet the experience of it is So Much More. I definitely recommend this location. 2 thumbs up, a perfect score

The beehive was the perfect stay for my wife and I's anniversary and it hit all the marks we needed. I wanted a quick getaway near Tallahassee, check. I wanted us to be near the coast, check. I wanted to be an exclusive house and not a hotel, check. And then I wanted to be able to explore a new area where we can shop and enjoy a small Florida town and not a major tourist trap, check. The room was very clean and modern and the setup had all the amenities for an extended stay. We felt safe and the area was very quiet even though it was very close to downtown and gave us plenty of choices to go to being between St. George Island and St. Joseph's Bay.

This was our second time visiting The Pelican's Nest, and it was just as comfortable and fun as the first time. I recommend this Airbnb for people who enjoy being close to the water and a quiet place to hang out.

Dan has worked hard to make his little paradise beautiful. Very artsy! Xtra play cabins in the back and a mock pizza place to eat your food at. I stayed in the Palace and it was perfect for what I needed. The property is large and full of plants and wildlife. I look forward to returning to stay in the Mermaid cabin next! Ty Dan!

Amazing stay I will be back! Amazing place for the price. Has everything you need. Perfect for 1-2 people. The location is great, short walk to the beach and close to everything. The place was extremely clean. I loved the neighborhood, full of cute colorful beach houses.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, nice, safe, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our little boy especially loved the fish pond, which was a highlight for him. Ricky’s wife, Julia, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She showed us such warm hospitality and was so patient and kind with our son—he absolutely adored her! We truly felt at home and would love to stay here again whenever we visit Panama City. Highly recommend!

We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. It was super easy to check in and Hannah gave easy instructions about what was expected and offered great suggestions for stores and restaurants nearby. We loved that it was extremely clean and spacious and the beach was within walking distance. Wonderful experience!

Our stay here was lovely, but what really stood out to me was the property manager. We had some car troubles on the way down, and she made sure we still had an enjoyable weekend getaway. Would absolutely stay here, again!

Leesa was a wonderful host—very responsive and kind throughout our stay. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The door lock was a bit tricky at first, but we figured it out quickly. The place was very clean and just as described in the listing. We had a great stay and will definitely keep this spot in mind for future trips!

The second story condo, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for two older adults bicycling in the area on a short stay. There are two pleasant and private balconies. One overlooks the bay and the other overlooks the boat docking area. We enjoyed sitting at the table on the bay balcony for snacks, coffee and the big water view. Pleasant breeze and few annoying sand gnats. You do have the same expansive view from the inside as well, which is a nice retreat. This gated grounds area has several different buildings. All seem well kept and it was very quiet on our weekday stay. It was convenient to the bike trails we wanted to ride and the two state parks, Bald Point and Ocklocknee, that we wanted to visit. The internet access was adequate for us, we did have to reconnect occasionally. The place was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay in a low key part of old Florida that is fast disappearing. Would return for another visit. Easy place to like.

Fantastic, breathtaking view! you are on the top floor! beautiful. worth the stay! the beach is accessible from the hotel, no need to cross a street. several pools and hot tubs.

Booked Alwz place at the last minute for a Father's Day getaway for my man, and I miat say it was just great!! When we walked in we were welcomed with a clean, beautiful, and great smelling condo. Cleanliness and smell matters to me! Also, the view of the ocean was breathtaking! You are on the beach and to hear and see the waves crashing while sitting on the patio was so serene. Alex was very engaging informing us on everything up until the day we left, very responsive and so nice. No issues, just a relaxing getaway. I will definitely be back!

We are so happy we found this place last minute. It was so cute and just what we needed. It was clean, decorated cute and simple, and the balcony view was perfect. Communication was excellent!

This was a great place to stay. It was near a lot of fun activities but still private as well. We enjoyed the chair service everyday and thought this beach area was the most beautiful (we,ve stayed all over this Florida coast). We will definitely come back!
