Château de Meauce, Maison du vigneron

The house known as the Vigneron du Château de Meauce is located opposite and at the foot of the Château; it is classified as a Historic Monument and is located on the classified natural site of the Bec d'Allier (confluence between the Loire and the Allier). The house dates from the 16th century and was used to house the family of the master winemaker, then the seamstress of the castle. Relax in this unique and quiet house at the foot of the Allier River (private beaches of the castle 100 meters walk from the door of the house).

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Berry house on the edge of a stream, in absolute calm, 7km from Sancerre, consists of a large living room with dining room and lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room with toilet and a bedroom (overlooking the stream) with a 160 cm bed. You will have a huge garden area by the water and a wood stove for cooler evenings.
