Farmstay holiday rentals in Saint Lawrence River

I've read all the previous reviews because I wanted mine to be even more special. I don't have a pen as beautiful as most of these. But all I can tell you is that it was…….PARFAIT!!! The hosts were perfect , the refuge was perfect, the place was perfect, the trails were perfect, the deer was perfect... Thank you Denis and Diane, and see you next year for sure.

This was are 3rd visit and first visit with our 5 + 7 year old. We loved hiking down to the pond and spending the day there on the cute sandy beach. Cool evenings around the fire pit making s’mores was the perfect ending to the day. The cabin was SO clean and a great fit for our family of 4. Thank you!!!

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful organic farm for a week, and it was absolutely lovely. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and green—perfect for a restful getaway. The property is surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed running and playing around the pond every night when we got back from our day out. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. It felt safe and well cared for. The hosts were warm, responsive, and very helpful whenever we reached out. Highly recommend it! Would definitely stay here again.

This is an absolute charmer of a cabin on a quaint, quiet farm- including a view of a couple of very happy pigs in their large pen. Acadia, Stonington, and more great destinations are easily drivable but I can also attest that the WiFi worked great, as I had to squeeze some work in. I would love to return and would recommend staying here to anyone!

Perfect place to rest! Beautiful courtyard with spa, sauna and outdoor fireplace. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Everything is well thought out and well equipped. I recommend it!

I spent a couple of nights in the cabin. It was very well kept, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The town of Randolph is quaint, and is around 15 mins from the cabin. I drove up from CT to play some golf and relax - I had the chance to play Montague Golf Club (which is right in town), Sugarbush, which is a very scenic 35 min (or so) drive from the cabin, and Killington, which is around 1 hr south. One thing that jumped out to me, was the stream that is close to the cabin, and with the windows left open, allows for a soothing sleep. Overall, enjoyed, if you're looking to check out Central Vermont, and have access to a lot of outdoor activities and typical New England scenery, I recommend.

We chose this location because it wasn’t far from Wolfville and Aylesford - I have family in both location. The accommodation was easy to get to and convenient. Eric and Jenny were responsive and helpful but we were out most of the time so I didn’t need much help. The place was clean and well kept and very well done. I stayed with my 4 boys and we were quite comfortable. The location had a great back lawn for my kids to run outside and play. Just a heads up if you’re travelling with kids in the summer months. There are no room darkening window coverings so you might want to bring your own. The place is beautiful with lots of light and windows so it’s pretty light in the place depending on when you’re going to bed. We would totally go back :)

Amazing gem in the middle of the forest! It demonstrate a perfect harmony between nature and human craft. Lake, horses and a lot of lands so our dog was super happy. We were there 4days but it felt like a two week retreat in terms of recovery and déconnection! Simply amazing

Mylene and her partner are outstanding hosts and have been highly responsive to all our needs. The flat is also gorgeous, perfectly equipped for a get away in the countryside. It is very peaceful and serene with some lovely walking/ cycling routes in nature. There is a great little stall for poutine and fast food in the centre of the town a lovely walk away. We would love to repeat our stay and highly recommend it!

Stayed here with my wife for the weekend. It was absolutely beautiful. The hosts was super nice and responsive, the surrounding area had lots of trails and nature. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway from busy life to reset! Five stars all around

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Very clean and stocked full of great books, board games, and a music player. Very comfortable beds. Enjoyed the sunset and seeing fireflies! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Kids enjoyed sleeping in the beds on upper floor.

Beautiful, secluded farm. Lots of songbirds and even a bald eagle or 2. Perfect Place to reconnect with family.

We had a wonderful vacation. The cabin is a true gem in the North East Kingdom. Upon entering the house, fresh flowers decorated the rooms and we found a basket of snacks for us and our dog. Leslie and Matt’s passion for decorating made the house cozy and inviting. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the garden, relaxing on the deck, and walking to the river. The food shopping service Leslie and Matt offer is an added bonus. The cabin is also in a perfect location. There are many great hikes and restaurants close by. The North East Kingdom truly delivered with its scenic woods, spectacular summit views, and gorgeous waterfalls. Plus every meal was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and making our vacation this year a memorable one! You both were responsive, friendly, and such a help before and during our stay. This vacation was exactly what we hoped for: a relaxing retreat among the trees. I wish we lived closer because I’d be back every year.

Well located, close to a beautiful public beach and small access to the water to see splendid sunsets. Very peaceful area, several dogs in the neighborhood.

My stay is hard to review. Was looking so forward to this weekend getaway but was battle tested with sickness and terrible weather. Nothing bad to say about the listing just bad timing making it hard to fully enjoy. I would highly recommend this stay otherwise as it was definitely capable of providing what I had wanted. Great hosts! Marilyn was so responsive and gave great recommendations for what’s in the area. They told us about a live music event going on 15 min away and we had the best time! The property itself had amazing views and was the perfect place for a short weekend getaway.

Laura’s cabin is a very cute spot in the Adirondacks. Perfect place to base yourself to go to Lake Placid and be near tons of great hikes. The outdoor space is really lovely - we loved the fire pit and having wood there is convenient (note you do have to pay for it). The home itself is quite cozy - but it worked well for three people and would be great for a couple. It’s beautifully decorated and super clean and quiet. We had a really lovely stay and would certainly be back!

The Creamery looks great from the pictures, yet they simply don't do the place justice. Set in an idyllic natural environment of the Adirondacks, the apartment offers up a slice of peace and rest bite. The apartment had everything we needed and more, the farm shop on site was a huge bonus and Alex was a friendly face offering to help us with anything we needed. Would highly recommend. Avoid the overly commercial character-less alternatives and stay somewhere incredibly authentic and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at this tiny home in Vermont. It had everything we needed and instantly felt comfortable. The location by the river was perfect! It felt really peaceful and serene. Our host Tyler was also super helpful and accommodating. Overall, a very good experience.

E.V.'s place was a little slice of VT heaven! Just as pictured! Our toddler had so much fun running in the grass, swinging on the hammock, having nightly fires while watching the sunset over the mountains, visiting the garden, sheep & chickens! We even explored the barn (which was stunning)! The whole property was peaceful & we felt rejuvenated from our stay at this sweet little farm house! We look forward to visiting again!
