Everything was clean and looked just like the pictures. There was a binder of activities and restaurants in the area. Bill is very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions for things to do.

We had a lovely couple days celebrating our anniversary. James’s place was a perfect home-base for exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It was private but still fairly close to things. The space was clean, and all basics were provided. We would recommend this place to others.

This place is utterly beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Both the property and the view had the wow factor, in fact photos don’t do it justice. Dorothy and Normand were the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and welcoming, they are special people. The guest house and south Bristol area for us encapsulates perfectly the magic of the Maine coastline.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s very clean and the hosts have prepared for everything. It feels like your own cabin in the woods. Plus there are so many activities in a short distance of the place.

Great stay and cabin. The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was even better than the pictures. Views were unreal and very peaceful !! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Just 1mil away you can find local stores, gas station, etc… We would definitely come back again!

We loved our stay at The Kibbe Cottage. Catherine was the perfect host. Sharing her local favorite things and making sure we had whatever we needed. Our dog Luna loved being able to come and go as she pleased. Sunrise on the deck was magical! Truly a special place. Thank you for sharing it with us!

We had a lovely time in the Little Red Cottage this June! I had stayed there two years ago with my husband, children, and our little dog, and this time I came back with just my mother as a mother-daughter trip for her 75th birthday. The Little Red Cottage suits all ages! It is just so sweetly decorated. And we love the snacks that Valentina puts out. The cottage has everything we need, as well as a lovely location and a beautiful view.

It’s very well maintained and private. Everything was as in the pictures and it was a breeze to take care of.

Truly beautiful and peaceful. The friendly dogs were an added bonus! Kerry thought of everything. Beautiful view. Space was even prettier than the pictures. Loved the dock, kayaks and paddle board. Will definitely recommend to others.

Marlene's accommodations for us (a couple)were located above the garage and were lovely, private, lovely open lawn and grounds with outdoor seating, very easy parking, outfitted kitchen for basic food prep, comfortable sleeping and lounging for two, walking path/and off main road access, all that one would expect and need for a get-away. The one room apartment is upstairs in the garage with a separate/private entrance. Marlene is accessible, helpful, accommodating and kind.

We loved staying at Donna's place. It was a quiet and pretty area. The place is spacious with every possible amenity provided with really thoughtful touches. As well there are lots of helpful tips, suggestions, labels etc. left for you which is so helpful and really takes the guesswork away when you're trying to settle in quickly. Donna was very helpful and responsive. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a serene retreat at Nicole’s place, focusing on silence, meditation, and solitude. The beautiful natural surroundings, like the river and the hammocks, and viewing the property fully immersed us in the experience. While, mosquitoes posed a challenge for my husband and me to be outside, which is typical of summer. We appreciated the cozy studio-style guest accommodations, which were well-equipped for our meal preparations and featured a delightful variety of coffee and a French press. The pristine bathroom and peaceful atmosphere contributed to our relaxation, while Nicole’s friendly presence ensured we had all the assistance we needed. We were enveloped in tranquility each night, making our stay in the forest studio truly enjoyable. It was the perfect opportunity for disconnection and relaxation. Thanks to Nicole and her hospitality.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The home was cozy, spotless and had everything we needed. Our host was very kind, helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay!

We never rented a place on a farm. What a beautiful surprise it was, in the middle of the fields with so many different type of birds, it was an oasis of tranquility that make us appreciate the real nature. The appartement was perfect, super clean with all you need. If you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature you will be very satisfy. On top our hosts were very nice and gave us all kind of tips on the different aspect of the island. Try it you will love it. Merci pour le beau séjour!

Very peaceful and quiet getaway spot. Place was exactly as described. Very clean and the hot tub is stunning! Would definitely recommend to couples or small groups who need a place to stay just outside of the city area.

our 4th stay and it just keeps getting better . the most beautiful loft with peaceful surroundings & pam and frank are the friendliest hosts . feels like we’re visiting friends every time ! can’t wait to be back .

First of all, the rumors are true, the comforter and bedsheets at Braeburn are AMAZINGLY soft and comfortable, perfect for a long nap to recover from a long way of driving/ hiking etc. The place was clean and well equipped, and we also got to meet Peter and Toby's 2 cute dogs who run the property :) My dog had a great time too. Didn't get to explore the Appleton trails this time since they were a bit buggy, but we will be back! The retreat is close to many other scenic hikes as well, we checked out Beech Hill Preserve and Camden State Park. The area is super peaceful, and low on traffic, so perfect if you are looking to avoid the crowds at Acadia.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our visit! It is very spacious for a studio apartment! The foyer/mud room was great for hanging coats and dropping shoes and boots. Kept the rest of the space uncluttered! The bed was very comfy but very high up - if you are petite or have mobility issues you might need a step stool!😆

The Loft is a great spot and we had a very relaxing weekend. The goal was to hike, but with heavy rain, the sauna and the town of Keene were great to have right there.

My partner and I took our first trip to Maine and this was a wonderful spot to stay. The place looked better than the photos and otherwise was described accurately. There were helpful tips for traveling around and nice amenities which made vacation easier. It was private, secluded and peaceful. One thing to note- Airbnb says it is 20 minutes from Acadia but it was between 50-1.1, which was on us for not checking and their listing has nothing to do with this I believe. The silver lining is we were able to check out Surry, Ellsworth, Blue Hill and Trenton which we wouldn’t have if we were closer. If you are looking to go to Acadia it may be a lot to travel back and forth but if you are open to other places this is the place to stay. One other thing to note is the water is very sulfurous but it was still worth it.

The house and location are beautiful the location is perfect walking distance to town. The grounds are beautiful. We will be back to enjoy the space again!
