We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Secteur touristique avec beaucoup d'activités, randonnée, vignoble, sous-marin , jardin de Métis, Mont-Comi (ski) Nous sommes directement sur la route des arts, donc beaucoup de galerie à proximité. Badger Cottage offers a true rustic Vermont experience nestled in the woods with spectacular views and a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired.
