Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Marcel-sur-Aude

A lovely property in a beautiful, tranquil location. The house was clean and comfortable with air conditioning in every room - a real bonus in soaring temperatures. The outside space is a short walk away from the house with a shady pergola and a nice swimming pool. Helene was on hand if we needed anything but the house felt private. The area is beautiful with medieval villages and castles within a short drive. Excellent value for money too.

Lovely spacious villa, quiet area and nice village. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden and pool. Only slight problem was the 1 toilet for 4 double bedrooms and bathroom with hand held shower inside main bedroom. So only 1 shower room. But we had a great family holiday.

We felt at home. we had peace and quiet, not far from very beautiful places like Carcassone, Narbone, Minerve, various caves,... The welcome couldn't have been better, with that apple cake they made for us... Thank you very much for everything Nadine and Jean Claude

An old house of great character with comfortable sitting room and well-equipped but old style farm kitchen. The shaded terrace was excellent for meals outside and the patio in front of the living room’s French doors was great for breakfast in the sun. The setting and scenery are absolutely beautiful and it is possible to do great walks right from the door. Our dog, Jim, was in his element. The house is well located for numerous walks including the Gorges d’Heric and circuits above Olargues and Saint Pons de Thomiere. A car is essential. There is no local shopping but there are supermarkets in Bedarieux and Saint Pons, not too far away. We enjoyed the restaurant ‘le lézard bleu which is close by in Vieussan. Lydia is a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. An excellent stay we hope to return.

From the moment I booked Celine was so helpful with messaging before arrival. When we did arrive her wonderful warm welcome was so lovely to experience after a long journey. She was so kind and made sure that we knew if we needed anything she would be there, and she was. So helpful, so kind. The venue was so peaceful and the views so stunning. We immediately felt at home in Paule's small house. It is so lovingly and high-quality restored and the furnishings are great. Unfortunately, we had to move on after three days. But we will definitely come back and stay longer.

We had a wonderful time staying at Karyne’s place. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and the town centre very close by, and the apartment itself is very quiet and private. Karyne was incredibly thoughtful with her instructions and very responsive with any question we had. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Narbonne.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, right in the city center with everything within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, and Sylvie was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
