We had a truly wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described — peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — it’s clear that the hosts care deeply about their guests’ experience. The nature around the place is absolutely beautiful, and the quietness made it feel like a real retreat. Thank you for such a lovely atmosphere. We’d be happy to return someday!

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, even better than we expected! We can’t wait to go back in the Fall. We think it will be awesome once the leaves begin to turn! Highly recommend for a mini retreat!

This was our daughters first vacation out of the province so we were unsure of how it would go as she had just turned 4. We had such a lovely stay at Sarah's cozy lakefront cottage! It was peaceful and quiet — the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and some beautiful beaches close by as well as some others 1-2 hrs drive away. The host was friendly and made us feel right at home. The beds were really comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after days spent exploring. Our daughter was thrilled with all the toys available, and we really enjoyed the selection of board games for some fun family evenings. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, family-friendly getaway. We’d love to come back some day - our daughter did not want to come home.

Lina and family were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. When we couldn’t figure out the fire table she was so quick to help us figure it out— to be very clear, it was definitely user error lol. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was divine. It was the best way to spend my 30th birthday. We are so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you times a million to our sweet host. :)

We really enjoyed our one night stay. It felt like time slowed down for the short stay we had. We really enjoyed the hot tub! Bonus hot tub experience if the stars come out, which they did and it was incredible. We would absolutely come back.

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

A great stay in mahone bay. The cottage was super cozy and well kept. Donnie and Brittany gave great instructions for everything!

The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. You are just far off the beaten path for some rest and relaxation but still close enough where the South shore attractions are just a drive away. The hosts will answer any question you have with a rapid response. Our two labs loved the property and Cailean Rae and Kate made a personalized gift basket for us and the pups. Can't recommend them enough.

Log cabins at Hubbards are great! It was a perfect place to stay with friends for a weekend wedding at the Shore Club. Staff at the office were very friendly and even helped us out with poop bags that we forgot and a later check-out. Classic cottage vibes.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! Denis was a great host and took great care of us as guests. The kids had a great time jumping off the dock, enjoying the playground, and countless games of washer-toss. The AC was lovely on hot nights and the beds were cozy and comfy. The bunkie was a fun added touch. We would love to stay there again!

Jodie and Marc’s airbnb was above and beyond what we anticipated. Although the weather wasn’t what we were hoping for, we had such a great time. They had numerous amenities and necessities that were all provided. It was a great place to have a nice staycation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you have any fur friends, this is the place you want to go! Although we didn’t bring any puppers with us, we were pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness Jodie and Marc provide for your furry friends! The thought that has gone into this Airbnb is impeccable. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Super cute and rustic. The beds were so comfortable, I even woke up in the morning and thought for a minute I was in my own comfortable bed at home. The cottage had pretty much anything you’d need. We were just there for one night and really just to have a close place to come back to after being at a wedding all day/night just 5 mins away. There was a really nice big firepit just a 30 second walk away from the cottage, which we would have likely taken advantage of if we had been there longer. I also really liked the front porch over looking the water. It was a nice place, super peaceful.

This was a great spot for our girls weekend. There was enough room for all 10 of us to have our own space, and the property is beautiful. The space is cozy and peaceful, and great for groups!

Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game was upcoming but we couldn’t figure out the TV Fiona drove quite a ways to help us out in person. She was great! Thank-you once again!

Follow the directions and you’ll find the cabin hidden away in the woods—it seriously feels like stepping into Narnia! It’s the perfect little escape for a weekend. Even though it’s a rustic cabin, it’s got all the essentials. The outdoor shower was a nice touch—really refreshing, and yes, there’s hot water!

Enjoyed my stay at the beautiful Lily Pond cottage. Stefano was excellent at communicating and prompt with assistance when needed. Excellent location and would highly recommend!

Tammy’s home is the perfect getaway location! Central to many beaches and amenities yet also secluded enough to allow you to recharge and connect with nature. Tammy is responsive and her instructions are very easy to follow. Definitely work the visit!!

The location of this cottage was perfect for us to explore the area by car and to experience a cottage where we could wall along the coast and throughout a small coastal settlement. On the inside the cottage is more than a cottage. A comfortable bed, lovely and cozy linens, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, and spa like bathroom with attention to detail throughout. Cindy has done a magnificent job preparing this cottage for guests. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a cottage atmosphere but we also found point out that this cottage is close enough to the Wolfville (by our standards) area to enjoy both urban and the bay in the one day. We only wish we lived closer to return to this spot in winter. We believe it would be an enchanting experience! This cottage is a pure 10/10!

I cannot say enough about Danny and the incredible Bunky land cabin retreat he has created on his hundred acres. Every detail was thought of in the planning, organizing and implementing of this space. Danny went above and beyond throughout my entire stay was extremely responsive and shared his wealth of knowledge. I cannot recommend this place enough! I hope to come back soon.

This cottage is really loved. So many wonderful features: art, fireplace, comfortable beds, everything outdoors a visual delight and the gazebo view over the ocean unparalleled. The main floor bathroom a bonus for anyone with mobility issues.
