Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Paterne - Le Chevain

We stayed here as an overnight stop on our way further south. It was absolutely ideal. It would be great for a longer stay too, with a direct route into Le Mans and a supermarket only a few minutes drive away.

What a beautiful location and house. We were stopping for just one night on route south and this was a perfect place to relax, cook dinner and cool off in the lake.

Anne is a great host and we really enjoyed our stay in the very rustic and beautiful property. The surrounding countryside is idyllic and we enjoyed our forest walks. The garden is fully fenced off which was a bonus for our dog Reggie! The ‘old grocery store’ is highly recommended!

Very good welcome from Thierry in his little paradise. The house enjoys absolute calm in a bucolic location. The garden is beautiful and very well laid out. The house is perfectly equipped (special mention to the particularly comfortable bedding). We'll be back without hesitating.

My husband, me, our toddler and our labradors had a fantastic stay at Manon. Everything was very clean and tidy on arrival. The atmosphere inside and outside the house is very nice and serene, it made us feel comfortable and at peace. The yard was amazing for our dogs, they had the best time roaming around and playing fetch. It was easy to communicate with Manon. The small town of Beaumont is just a 6 minute drive and has all facilities you need. Definitely a place we would like to return to in the future!

Very good extended weekend with the family in Aurélie and Sylvain's house. House in the countryside with a very beautiful view. Everything is done to make you feel good and to please children and adults: slide, ping-pong table, foosball, badminton court and petanque on a very large grassy field! Everyone enjoyed it ;-) Spacious house, very nice to have each bedroom equipped with a bathroom and toilet. Lots of things to do in the surroundings: visit the characterful city of Saint Ceneri le Gerei, Saint Léonard du Bois, the pearl pond in Averton and 600 m away: visit a dairy farm with milking! Our stay at Marianne and Frédéric's was superb, a timeless moment in a real haven of peace. The exteriors are beautiful and so soothing: beautiful flowers, the lake, the pool… everything was perfect! The recommended addresses were a great help and the breakfast was excellent. Thanks also to Frédéric for the visit to his space dedicated to photography, it was very interesting. We'll be back, that's for sure!

This was the most beautiful Airbnb house I have ever rented – hands down. Dominique was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire stay felt like a pure vacation dream. The house is located in one of the most stunning regions I’ve ever seen – the landscape, the view, the garden, everything is just magical. The kitchen, the interior design, every little detail – it’s like stepping into another world. I’ve truly never seen anything this beautiful. As mentioned in the description, the pool was cold, but having a pool like this is such a gift – we used it every single day and loved it. Everything was simply perfect and dreamy. I can only recommend this place to everyone – and I’ll definitely come back!

The place was spotless, very clean and well kept. The bed is a little small for tall people, but it's a standard bed, so nothing unusual. The host was very responsive and provided all the necessary information clearly and accurately, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I recommend it without hesitating!

Perfect! We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation is very pleasant and well-equipped. We came with two dogs, the enclosed courtyard is a real plus. We will come back without hesitation.

If we could give Olivier and Maud’s house more than 5 stars, we would. It was perfect! The house itself has all that you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. Our 19month old son also felt at home with toys to play with and the wonderful garden to play in. Olivier and Maud also provided a cot which suited our son well. The garden and surroundings are incredibly peaceful. You are very close to nature and we recorded 50+ different bird calls as well as seeing a hare in the neighbouring field. The intermarche is just down the road and convenient for shopping, as well as a good boulangarie. The neighbours are very friendly. Olivier were very responsive to messages and also very attentive. We could not have asked for a better week staying at Frechatel and other Air B&Bs are now going to have a job living up to such high expectations! We would love to return again in the future! Gregory himself was an absolute god-send of a host! Embodies everything a guest would look for. responsive, kind and incredibly welcoming. The apartment was beautiful with scenic views, clean and as described. Very simply instructions from Gregory and he was also less than 10 minutes away and was happy to help with any small queries. A true gent and incredible host!
