Very nice location, quiet. Functional apartment, beautifully decorated, perfect for disconnecting

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

It’s a fantastic location in a beautiful part of La Rochelle, a few minutes walk to the Port, shops, restaurants etc. The apartment was very well equipped with lovely views from the terrace including the use of the jacuzzi which was an added bonus. For young toddlers and people with mobility issues the stairs would be challenging. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Edith and Christophe’s outstanding home. The accommodation within the beautiful grounds is a bucolic haven in an historic building. Everything we had read and the photos we viewed were entirely representative of what we experienced. Edith and Christophe are very welcoming and hospitable, understandably proud of their home and its location. We were given recommendations and plenty of information about what to do and where to go in the local area. The apartment was characterful and clean, with everything we needed. The master bedroom was bright and airy, with a large comfortable bed. The pool in the converted barn was wonderful. Like everything else, the attention to detail is noticeable, with comfortable sun-loungers and use of an open-air jacuzzi. Lounging in the jacuzzi in the summer sun, in a private garden with countryside surroundings was a time to feel good about life! We feel very fortunate to have discovered Logis de Chassagne.

An excellent family weekend in Chris's accommodation in Fouras: small cute house facing the sea (even if a rocky stonework under construction hides the view of the sea a little, but fortunately we had been warned) with everything we needed. Quiet location, close to the pier for Île-d'Aix, close to Fouras and small garden with its very pleasant deckchairs. Chris was a thoughtful and responsive host, thank you. Recommended!

We had a great time at Denis's place. Host with unparalleled responsiveness and kindness, a real joy. The house is ideally located, quiet and everything is within walking distance. Astrid and Thierry are welcoming and communicative hosts. Beautiful collection of cacti in the garden. Large outdoor space and bright and refreshing house in hot weather. I recommend it and would not hesitate to go back.

We had a splendid time at Emmanuel's place. Our family of five stayed for a week and felt right at home. The house had all we needed to feel comfortable, and it was very clean. We loved the beautiful garden in particular. Also, the location is great. It's a very pretty residential neighborhood, in close walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and all the central port area has to offer. Wish we had stayed longer! We had a wonderful time, and we would gladly return to Marie and Emmanuel's place and to La Rochelle.

This stay in Saint-Fort was really perfect. The location of the house has everything of a little corner of paradise. The house is exceptional, very well suited to a large number of travelers. The view from the house of the estuary is beautiful. We had a lovely weekend in this place. The communication, hospitality and responsiveness of our hosts were excellent. Thank you! Very nice house, pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Very friendly welcome from Estelle, which doesn't spoil anything. Remote village but not far from the beaches and La Rochelle. I recommend it.

The cottage has a large terrace and huge garden, there's ample parking space which we used for a BBQ for my local friends. Marie, also knowing these people joined us, a very agreeable evening. The place is very convenient for me when I come down to visit these friends, who are from the UK but lived in France for many years. I can easily walk into the village and enjoy an evening with them without worrying about having a little too much wine. The accommodation is very large, very well equipped, good WIFI, I was able to use my laptop to stay informed and listen to Classic FMM when I wished. All in all a very enjoyable stay and I will be coming down again, circumstances permitting, always an issue for octogenarians.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

Wonderful property with great garden and pool - perfect for our family of 5 with young children. Securely enclosed outdoor space, easy access to town centre, supermarket and cycle routes. We will definitely be returning.
