Welcome to Piilopirtti, an atmospheric log cabin on the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Lake Kemijärvi, just 7 km from Suomutunturi. The cottage is located on a large plot of land and has spacious views of the lake and the surrounding landscape. From the village you can take the ferry to a beautiful sandy beach. The starting point of the ski trails is 2 km away, but you can go straight from the yard to the lake ice to ski. For fishermen, Lake Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. Cloudberries, blueberries and lingonberries are waiting for pickers right at the corner of the cabin.

Unique cottage on the shores of Lake Kemijärvi

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shores of Lake Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping barn, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Fireplace. Washing in the sauna, the use of the sauna is agreed with the hosts. The hosts use the other buildings on the premises.

Charming luxury cottage for four on the Finnish fell

A winter-inhabitable cottage built completely new in a traditional log cabin frame in 2019. In the cottage, you can relax in a hotel-level bed while watching the fireplace. The small kitchen is well equipped. The wonderful sauna heats up at the touch of a button. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of Suomutunturi, approx. 145 km from Rovaniemi airport. In addition to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the area has excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and hiking, even in the summer. The hotel rents skis and organizes excursions.

Samuam B-talo Aurora Cabin Sallatunturissa

An experience destination in Sallatunturi close to slopes and services. Built in 2021. Accommodation, igloo barbecue hut and separate sauna with wood stove. Electric car charging facility 7 kW, included in the rental price. Wooden, partially glass-roofed northern lights hut. Ideally suited for indoor observation of the northern lights and starry sky in winter. In summer, the hut is illuminated by the midnight sun. There are no curtains on the ceiling, so the hut stays bright according to the daylight (in summer, the night is sleepless).

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the old and idyllic school in its spacious upstairs apartment (k, oh, 2mh, sauna/toilet/shower, 2 hallways). The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The apartment and courtyard are well suited for families with children.

Rentoudu koko perheen tai ystävien kanssa tässä rauhallisessa majapaikassa, erinomaisella sijainnilla "In the middle of nowhere". Oma kolmen hehtaarin tontti ulottuu aina Ruuhijokeen asti. Pihalla talvisin mahtavat lumivallit lapsille leikkiä. Navetan takana ovat upeat sarapellot, joilta hyvä ihailla maisemia ja revontulia.

Relax with the whole family or friends in this quiet and comfortable cottage. Great location close to ski trails, snowmobile trails, slopes and hiking trails. A clean and well-equipped apartment that makes you want to stay longer. The upper loft shared by the three apartments has good facilities for ski and equipment maintenance. You can also make a fire in the yard grill and cook a small snack, for example. The apartment is air-conditioned, so you can enjoy the cool air even in summer.

Rukatunturi Moisashenry

Cozy cottage near by Ruka (5km). Only three semi-detached houses in the same area. The nearest grocery store (Sale market) is 3 km away. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. The rental includes 1 bag of firewood.

Cozy log apartment (kitchen, bedroom, loft, sauna and bathroom) in Sallatunturi. Ski trail, dog sledding trail and access to the snowmobile trail about 100m away. Slopes, restaurants and sports venues 600m-1km. Salla National Park 3km, Karhunkierros and the rugged scenery of Oulanka National Park 32km. Beautiful, peaceful outdoor and wilderness opportunities. Reasonable basic equipment, well-behaved pets are welcome.
