My wife and I are the new owners! (1/31/26) We are restoring it's grandeur in this unincorporated town and community of 120 real Idahoans. Most rooms are small, with a bed, shower, bathroom, frig, and microwave. The room is quaint and frugal. We want you to spend ALL of your time in our wilderness; hiking, exploring, listening, smelling, but, most of all smiling and experiencing God's country. God has blessed Idaho! Palooza Basecamp: Room 02

Palooza Basecamp Hotel is located in a newly refreshed 100 yr old building. Rooms sport local artwork highlighting the area's beauty while comfortably accommodating your needs with adjustable beds, 40in TV's, walk-in showers, and backlit mirrors. A wide community hallway connects all of the rooms with a cozy mountain feel. Rooms have access to additional amenities. Room 02 hosts 2 Twin XL beds on the second level; you will enter the community hallway and have coded entry access to your room.

West Fork Lodge Room #1

Just listed! Come on up the West Fork! If you are unfamiliar with the area, West Fork Road runs along the West fork of the Bitterroot River and is your gateway to the 1.5 million acres of the Bitterroot National Forest. Whether your looking to fish, hike, hunt, off-road, snowmobile, ski, boat, kayak, dip in painted rocks reservoir, or just about anything in the outdoors, the West Fork Lodge is your place to come home to at the end of your day. The woods are calling and you should answer!

The Prospector Motel: Unit 4

This modern mountain getaway is opening for the first time since the commencement of its major remodel. This unique Slumberpad was built in the early seventies and went out of commission years ago. In total, our accommodation sleeps 17 comfortably. There are 4 units on the main level and 2 larger units on the upper. With a careful overhaul of modern touches mixed with a mountain vibe, this place is unlike another other place you might find in the quaint little town of Idaho City.

S4 Single Queen in 17 room Red Rock Lodge, Challis

Located in the heart of Central Idaho, Red Rock Lodge offers a variety of room options to include King, Queen, and Double Queen Rooms. Additional room options include kitchenettes and sofa sleeper. One wing of the lodge includes completely remodeled bathrooms. You will love the charming atmosphere that highlights the wonderful and beautiful aspects of Central Idaho. Room S4 has a Single Queen. This is in our remodeled wing and has a newly tiled shower, no tub.

Lakeside Room-King Bed

Reservation priority for large groups/reunions is FCFS until April 30th of each year. Send us an inquiry. If you just need a room or 2 reservations open starting May 1st. We host Memorial Wknd through mid Oct. If you are NOT interested in reserving the ENTIRE PROPERTY, please wait to inquire about room availability until May 1st. We offer a comfy room in a beautiful location at this rustic remodeled mountain "hotel". Lake views and lakeside access.

Come enjoy some rest in this charming and spacious pet-friendly fireplace suite. Two comfortable beds await you after your long day of exploring the surrounding areas. Cozy up by your personal fire, relax in the hot tub, and take in the surrounding mountain views. This suite is located in a hotel which has spacious grounds offering a year round hot tub, barbecue, picnic tables, corn hole, and great views of Brundage Mountain.

We have a wonderful family friendly Restaurant & Lounge here on the property, it is a 15 minute drive into Elk City and an hour drive to Red River Hot Springs.

The Lazy Bear Ranch is an oasis of calm and beauty, backed by rolling foothills.
