The space was much larger than anticipated! The bedroom is huge, and the bed super comfy. It’s close to the highway but we invented “car gazing” as all day long you can see the hot summer cars driving by. Lots to eat nearby, and proximity to Transfer Beach (a short walk down the decommissioned railway) is easy and enjoyable. Great for a family of 3, located at the end of a dead-end street. Highly recommended for vacationers to Vancouver Island!

Absolutely wonderful stay. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay an additional week (from the original 28 day stay). Cute lower-level suite with all the right touches. The host family is absolutely wonderful (Wanda and Warren). They had me feeling right at home (away from home) with exceptional hospitality. The property is private and inviting for any sports or nature enthusiasts. A stones-throw from nature hikes, the recreation centre, and downtown Sidney. I highly recommend and will be staying again!

Amazing location—just a short walk to the Ganges and nearby bus stops. The home was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. The hosts were very responsive and gave clear, easy-to-follow check-in instructions. Highly recommend!

Beautiful suite, clean, tastefully decorated, and well stocked. It was a great value for the amazing location - we truly had a whole beach to ourselves! The owner provided great insight and suggestions, when asked about relocating to the area. I’ve already recommended the place to family members in the area for a close by getaway. I can honestly say this was the best Airbnb we have had to date. Thank you so much!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s place. Check in and out was easy with clear instructions. She responded quickly when I had questions. It was our first time using Airbnb so that was important. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would stay here again when visiting Chemainus!

Our stay here was great. The view is amazing, and the space is wonderful. The mattresses are very firm (great for my husband, a little too firm for my daughter and me). The space is everything we hoped for because we booked it for the view, and that did not disappoint. The town of Chemainus is very cute, and the area is very peaceful and beautiful. We booked a tea tour at Westholme Tea Company, which was the main reason for our choosing this location. The tour was awesome.

We really enjoyed our stay here and plan on making it a regular stop when visiting family. Karen was very responsive and thoughtful in ensuring we had everything we needed and offered extra help. The unit was spacious and well appointed. We wanted for nothing and the bed provided one of the best sleeps we had had in awhile. Despite the location over the carwash it never caused a concern or noise issue and the big windows provided a view of the trees and sea. We even got to enjoy morning coffee on the deck one day. Thank you Karen for this great unit.

This accommodation is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with a breathtaking view. Unexpected snowfall meant lots of shoveling, but this was done in a timely manner and our parking was upgraded besides. Thank you for a great stay!

Place looked like photos and as described. Responsive host who went out of their way to fix a coffee machine that had reached the end of its life. I would stay here again.

What a beautiful place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the view was incredible and it was so relaxing. The queen bed was comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t great. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Jason and Andrea were easy to get ahold of when I had any questions. The area where the unit is was clean, the park was fun for my girls to play at and the hot tub was lovely! I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a great stay!

Such a Beautiful peaceful location. With Spectacular views!! Any closer to the beach you would be right on it! Super quiet, the pool was great & temperature was perfect! Best of all the walks on the beach!! Highly recommend!!!!!♥️

This home was amazing! From the linens to the indigenous art... just beautiful. The view was fantastic and there is plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the scene. The home was spacious and spotless. Fluffy towels, cozy bedding and a kitchen stocked with every gadget you'd need. We were able to purchase kitchen basics near by, and enjoyed our trips to Duncan for lunch a few days. Check out the fresh fish market in Duncan and the Saturday only Farmers Market. PS: "Brunch on 3rd" is worth the wait.
