Mary Teresa’s place was absolutely wonderful! We loved the unique setting on the Hook Peninsula, the including the view of Slade Castle next door. Everything was as described, just be sure to understand how the hot water heats😊. Mary Teresa was wonderfully responsive! The neighbors and even random folks walking down the road provided us with great information about the area and restaurants. We will absolutely visit again!

Lovely house and area, definitely recommend!

5 of us traveled to Eire to visit family in the area, the house is amazing, each couple had en-suite bedrooms which was really comfortable for all, the space in general is ginormous allowing everyone their own space , the outside area and BBQ were an additional bonus, the hot water and heating was all we could ask for and the open fire was cozy. WIFI AND TV channels choice was perfect. We had family visit for dinner one evening and the house was well able to accommodate all plus a few guests , we will certainly be using Cahore House again for visits to Wexford

We loved this place. It had everything we needed and more. The tennis courts and football field were a surprising hit with my adult children. Very relaxing peaceful place.

The cottage was perfect for a family get away, it felt like we were at home. We were a family of 7 adults and felt like we had plenty of space. We were even able to make a full breakfast in the morning which was made better by being able to sit in the backyard looking over the water. Very short walk to the beach; the water was stunning and clean, we even took a little dip given the warm weather when we visited. Short drive to the surrounding towns, we were able to pick up groceries 15 min away.

My family and I (8 of us, including 2 children) stayed at Niamh's beautiful house for our second Easter. I would highly recommend Niamh as a host. She was always contactable and made everything easy for us. Her house is, as they say, in "turn key" condition - spotless, welcoming (as in personal), everything we needed was in the house. Spacious bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms spotless. It was almost as if we were the first occupants of this fabulous house. I must add that the town of Dungarvan is lovely - lots of eateries, Greenway, a "loved" town. Bakery, with the best cakes etc., and open on Sunday morning. All in all, staying in Niamh's house, Friday to Tuesday, was a wonderful experience for my family of 3 generations.

We enjoyed staying here, the house was cozy and warm, with everything we needed. It's a private and quiet place with the beach within 10min walking distance, definitely worth a visit. Thank you for your hospitality!

Elaine was a wonderful host. From the initial interaction, to when we had the absolute pleasure to meet her at the house, she was so helpful, friendly, accommodating. The house wasn't just a house, it felt like a home. It was absolutely spotless, gorgeous big garden, and the most spectacular view of the sea. The beach is within 15 mins stroll and we'll worth the walk. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much Elaine for a lovely stay for myself and all the dogs. We will certainly be back!

thank you Paul for a very comfortable night. dunmore East is a very pretty place and I recommend visiting The Lemon Tree cafe and restaurant. the Strand is also very good. Paul's place is only 2 minutes drive away.

We stayed for a week at this modern, clean house in Ardmore, Ireland, and it was an incredible experience. The house offers amazing views of the town, the hillside, and the bay, giving you that perfect Irish landscape right outside your window. The host was proactive with all communication, providing everything we needed to know. They even had a comprehensive book with recommendations for things to do and see around Ardmore. The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Both bathrooms were in excellent condition, and the three bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of linens. Everything was spotless and well-organized. One of the highlights was the stunning cliff walk right by the house, offering breathtaking views that perfectly capture the essence of Ireland. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ardmore. It was such a wonderful stay, and we’d love to return if we get the chance!

The pictures don’t do it justice. This place is fantastic! The epitome of quaint, remote, rustic, beautiful Irish cottage! If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will love it here. We were greeted by a herd of cows upon our arrival, being led from one field to another right along our little one-lane road! My friend and I are from the Bay Area in Northern California… so we are not used to all this greenery in the summer and all of these narrow lanes (vs. big highways in the US). It is unbelievably picturesque. I wish we could have stayed longer. This would be the perfect spot to write a novel, meditate, or take up a daily walking practice. One of my favorite things in our whole trip to Ireland was walking down the lane from this cottage to the bay, noting stone ruins of what appears to have been a castle and spotting more birds than we we could possibly count.

We enjoyed a most restful week at Caroline’s house. We had everything we needed and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. The house is comfortable and so peaceful , the kitchen was well equipped and the smart TV meant we were well entertained at night. Having the beach and wood walks nearby is invaluable and we almost had the beach to ourselves for morning walks through the dunes. We shopped in Wexford and the local shop in Curracloe had anything else we needed. Altogether a perfect stay, highly recommended .

We are 5 older Ladies, we stayed at Connie’s place from 13th June to the 15th. The house was very spacious, very well equipped and very clean. Fethard is a 5 minute drive away, Baginbun beach 8 minutes drive. Great location for exploring the South East. Would highly recommend Connie’s place

What a little gem. About 400 metres to the village of Bunmahon where the local pub and coffee shop can be visited. (Book the pub for dinner if Sat evening). Coffee shop has lovely local copper coast coffee and tasty whipped ice cream. Additional baked goods available and some sandwich options. Best for coffee and ice cream. You can surf on the beach with Bunmahon Surf School (Tadhg has been situated there for 15 years so lots of experience). The house itself is over 3 floors, beautifully designed and decorated. Morning sun up until about 3/4pm on the back balcony with comfy lounge seats and then a lovely little area out front to catch evening sun. Hot water in both walk in showers whenever needed. Soap/shampoo/conditioner available too. Plunge pot coffee/air fryer/microwave/hon/oven all available. Recycling bins available. Parking for 3 vehicles. Greenway close by. Cathal and Paul have created wonderful place to stay for enjoying local with a colourful welcoming interior.

Perfect setting in a beautiful part of the country. Caoimhe was extremely helpful and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Caoimhe as a host. If you are looking for some peace and tranquility this is the place to go.

The house on the Hook was a perfect place to stay for our extended family from 1 yr old to 68 yr old. The vote from the house is stunning. The surrounding we're beautiful (and there are even calves in the field down the lane). Donna was a very responsive and helpful host. I would heartily recommend this accommodation to any and all.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach house. The setting was incredibly calm and peaceful—perfect for unwinding and disconnecting. The home itself was tastefully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the beach. What made the experience even better was the host’s responsiveness—always quick to reply and very helpful throughout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing coastal escape.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is gorgeous and in the most beautiful location. Waking up each morning to the sea view was incredible. The house was immaculately clean and had a real old fashioned feel to it. We felt so at home here because it reminded me of my Grandmothers house. Deborah had so many little home comforts scattered around which really proved to us that a lot of love has gone into the home. It is so close to a gorgeous beach and only a 3 minute drive to the village of Fethard. Plenty of shops/ restaurants to choose from. We had our 1 year old with us and she had a travel cot, high chair and even nappy bags and baby wipes for us to use! Just so thoughtful 🥰 I would LOVE to come back here again because we were gutted leaving after 2 nights! It was so peaceful and we are now fully rested after our trip to Wood Grange. Again, highly recommend here! You will not be disappointed!
