The rooftop terrace makes the apartment feel special and unique. Amazing views up there! Luis was a friendly and helpful host. He spent a lot of time answering our questions about Oaxaca and explaining the local history. He's a great guy. The location is slightly outside of the touristy areas, but it's an easy walk, and we actually enjoyed staying in a more local neighborhood away from the hotels and bars. We would happily return to Luis' apartment in the future. No problems at all.

Luis was friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything you need for a long stay including the kitchen where you can cook, etc.., and the living room with a nice couch and a tv with Netflix. The apartment has two bedrooms upstairs with a shared small bathroom. The bathroom might be a little small if you are a tall person since the toilet space is kind of small, I would say if you’re 6 feet or taller you may have issues with the toilet, other than that, the space is nice overall and it’s what I expected for what we paid.

The host was super friendly and responsive. The super cute place, has parking lot, super close to downtown Oaxaca. Thank you!

Loved my stay here! The apartment is perfect for one or two. The neighborhood feels local yet is very central. Margarita and Eli are wonderful hosts, always ensuring you have everything you need.

Teresa’s casita was a perfect place to unwind and discover Oaxaca! It was conveniently located close to great neighborhoods, walking distance to restaurants, cafes and local happenings. Teresa was a wonderful host - she was responsive and gracious and checked in during our stay. The casita was sweet, and well appointed, and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed this apartment! Rodrigo, again, was an attentive and friendly host! It was spacious and the porch was perfect with such a beautiful view and yoga area! The apartment was in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Walkable to every where you’d need to go. It has a full kitchen (along with necessary equipment) and bathroom was a good size. Big closet space. The AC/Fan/Heater throughout the apartment. Definitely would stay there again

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a historic building with all the comforts. Great bed, strong air conditioning, and excellent shower. Perfect central location, walkable to markets and restaurants, yet quiet. Mario was an amazing host, responsive and helpful. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Guadalupe's place for 5 days and it was excellent. It's got everything you need in a great home and is clean, beautifully decorated, in a wonderful, walkable location and was safe and cozy. Guadalupe helped arrange us a car to the airport, and was helpful, responsive and thoughtful with any small issues we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Casa Azul is a very good Airbnb stay for a family or group seeking to explore Oaxaca and the surrounding region. It is located in the lovely and quiet neighborhood of Xochimilco, a pleasant and mostly downhill 15 min walk to Centro. It’s a unique property with the opportunity to enjoy your morning coffee/ breakfast and your evening cocktail with a stunning rooftop view of the mountains from your outdoor kitchen/ living space. There are wonderful bakeries and chocolate shops close by, as well as the Michelin listed restaurant Ancestral, just next door. Ruben, Niz and Jazmine were responsive hosts, both promptly resolving any issues that arose and providing helpful recommendations. In particular, Ruben recommended Anuar as a guide. Anuar was excellent, taking us on a whole day tour of Teotitlán del Valle (textiles), Matatlan (mezcal) and Hierve el Agua (swimming and waterfalls) -- and a delicious lunch at the local market in Tlacolula.

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

An accommodation that is worth what you pay. Although the area is not very close to the center, it offers speed on the main avenues. It's not difficult to get there and the house is in a safe area. It has extra amenities that sometimes make you want to stay in the house, excellent accommodation.

What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

Hitzel was an amazing host. Very accessible and always willing to help and answer our questions from the beginning. His instructions for entering the house were very clear and he was attentive to us until we settled in. He even recommended us to a doctor when several of us got sick. I had a cosy and relaxed stay at Anahi's place. There's a great terrace to watch the sunset and it's within walking distance of the center of town. The space itself was perfectly comfortable and I was able to work from there in the mornings. Anahi was responsive right away every time, so we worked out dropping my bags there early at checkin and we managed a late checkout. Go and have a comfortable time at Anahi's!

Perfect location. We were able to walk into town to restaurants. Many little corner shops nearby. Large grocery store about 5 minute walk away. Area was very secure. Locked gate let you into a beautiful courtyard with multiple apartments. Each apartment had their own outdoor sitting area and then a communal area as well. The place was decorated for Day of the Dead and even an altar was set up in the communal area. Overall it was a great stay with no Airbnb issues.

For those that only read the first line of reviews , simply put we found this home perfect. Now if you are still reading we will tell you that the attention we received from our host was top notch. Constanza and Clara communicated through the app so well . When we wanted a more personal communication they meet us face to face. . We learned so much about the culture of the city and some spots we would never of found in a guide book or google searches. The home itself was as described and the plants throughout the courtyard were beautiful and soothing. Picking this location for your trip is something you will not regret

Miss Mariana was very kind at all times and was always aware of any situation that might arise. The apartment is comfortable, cool and very quiet; no noise is heard, which allows you to rest perfectly. We only use it for sleeping, and it did very well with that purpose. It is located a few blocks from downtown, which makes it very easy to access. The only thing to note is that on the corner there is a bus station, so caution should be exercised when walking around that area due to transportation transit. It's definitely a place I recommend. Quiet place, Andrea is always friendly and attentive in communication. A little tired to go up because it's on the 4th floor, but nothing that will bother you. Comfortable, safe.

The place is cozy, the space is good for 4 people and Miriam was always attentive to everything.
