This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

I loved this place. It is beautiful and so peaceful. The home is as pictured. There are not any restaurants in walking distance but their are stores. This home is a 30 minute drive from Panajaschal main street. I did not use Uber but it does show that you can get Uber from here, according to the app. I used a private driver throughout my stay and it worked out perfectly.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

The house is very cozy, surrounded by nature and close to the main pier of Santa Catarina overlooking the 3 volcanoes. The kitchen is very well equipped, as are the rooms. Excellent service and kindness from Juan, who welcomed us, took our luggage and gave us very good recommendations.

The house is gorgeous and clean, Maria and Rudy are very kind and helpful and there are dogs and a cat that come visit who are very sweet and playful.

The house has a beautiful design that makes you feel at home right away. It’s the perfect place to escape for the weekend—peaceful, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!

The best waterfront lodging experience available in Lake Atitlán. The design and furnishings of the house are exquisite. We were attended by very friendly and attentive staff at the place. Ana Regina was always looking out for us.

A well-equipped, clean apartment just one block from the main square and a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. Communication with the host was easy the entire time. San Lucas doesn't have much tourism, but that's what makes the experience more valuable. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed the rooftop with amazing volcano views.

Samuels place was nice and neat. He was very courteous and checked in on me daily to ask if I needed anything. Very nice guy with a nice place. The room has direct view of Lake Atitlan. The room has a comfy bed and a sofa.

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

Very good location and excellent service

Great Airbnb even provided us with a private pick up that was a great little tour and helpful. If you are a warm body there is a fan but you could get hot. Shower has hot water and TV works perfectly as well as WiFi. It is a little far walk from the Main Street Santander but doable only thing about where it’s located is a little hard to describe to a tuk tuk where you’re going and they rarely pass by the street so you can wave them down to take. But overall great experience.

Great little place to stay in San Pedro. I really appreciated Stacy and her daughter’s hospitality! They were very kind which was refreshing after having been met with rudeness from other Airbnb hosts in the same area. Definitely book with them!!!

Beautiful and tranquil spot near San Pedro. The views of the lake were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful—great for relaxing. A bit removed from the bustle, but still easy to get into town. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

It was a brilliant stay with everything we needed and great communication. The plunge pool, sauna and net on the deck were big winners. Just do be advised since photos have been taken there is a bit of growth of plants around the property and a new house built next door. Also Nicolas does live on the property out the back who takes care, he is lovely and stays out of the way completely but just a heads up. Had everything we needed but would advise bringing food to cook as it is a bit out of town so having some meals at the place is recommended and a must with the view. Definitely wake up early to watch the stunning sun rises. Thanks for the stay

Everything about La Casa de Oxkan exceeded our expectations. It was close enough to the action that it was easy to get to and from, but private enough that the lively nature of San Pedro was never intrusive. The home is beautiful in every aspect, and Magdalena was one of the most attentive and responsive hosts I’ve ever stayed with. Not if, but when I return to San Pedro, I will absolutely stay here again.

I stayed at Luzmi’s cozy cabin for six nights, and it was the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with myself. As someone used to city life, it took me a night to adjust to the rustic, peaceful setting—but once I settled in, I didn’t want to leave. When I first arrived, I had some trouble opening the door, and Luzmi was incredibly gracious. She didn’t just help me in—she gave me a thoughtful, nearly hour-long tour of the space and its surroundings. It’s clear she puts a lot of love and care into maintaining the property, and it really shows. She’s an amazing host, and I couldn’t have asked for more. The boats are easy to flag down from the dock, and there’s nothing like starting the day with a morning swim, followed by a hike or a quick boat ride to San Marcos for breakfast. I’ll definitely miss my time at the cabin—and I already know I’ll be staying there again the next time I return to Lake Atitlán.

This is our second stay at The Artist's Loft and it was just as peaceful as the first time in 2017. The view is breathtaking and I feel the best view of Lake Atitlan. The house is spacious, sunny and airy. I enjoyed the firm bed. The staff, Dorca, Milka and Nathanael were helpful and responsive. We enjoyed reading on the deck and had almost all our meals there. I became friends with the parrot Victoria and became attached to her. Everytime I saw her she made me laugh. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

I stayed at Amate Madera for two nights and loved it. The A-frame cabin is beautifully designed, cozy, and perfectly situated above Lake Atitlán, with stunning sunrises. It felt peaceful, private, and connected to nature, exactly what I was looking for. The hike up is steep, so pack light or arrange help with luggage, but once you're there, it’s worth it. I especially enjoyed the breathtaking views.
