Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in San Diego Bay

Jeff and Amador have really done a fabulous job make this apartment warm and beautiful. And they were so pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. The building, and location were first class. The view of the church out the living room window was a plus!

Josh was an exceptional host that was flexible with my check-in and offering local recommendations/guidance to make my trip memorable . He was quick to respond when i had questions during my stay. The apt exceeded our expectations and the bldg amenities were great bonus. My wife and I are already working to plan to book again real soon….highly recommended this amazing rental!

We had a lovely stay at Pineapple Haven and appreciated how helpful and accommodating Bobby was. The place was nicely decorated, kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to get going, beds were comfortable and the buildings facilities were impressive. One downside is that it’s extremely loud when the people in the apartment above are walking around which woke us up about 6am each morning. But this is beyond the hosts control so didn’t impact our rating.

Ezekiel and the place was fantastic! The pool and hot tub area is beautiful and right on the beach. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay. The place was very clean, had strong wifi and had everything I needed. You can hear the music from Las Pulgas so you might want to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

Judith’s place was perfect for our stay. For the sample, we brought kitchen equipment from NJ with us because we usually need it when we stay at other places. But Judith’s place had everything plus more than we expected. We left all the equipment in our car!! lol.😆

We had a great stay at Johnathan and Cindy's place. It felt like home for our almost two week stay. The kitchen was very well appointed with every cooking utensil you need, the bed very comfy, just everything you need. Our thoughtful hosts planned every detail, with little cute signs all over the appartment. We hope to be back, thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Felt incredibly welcomed by John and made it feel very comfortable for family of 4. Great location in a good neighborhood, quick to access to freeways for easy activities throughout city. Will definitely visit again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Tim’s cute and serene French style home. You can tell that Tim and his wife put a lot of thought and care into providing their guests with a wonderful stay. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs that I have ever stayed in and had the fanciest amenities, like L’Occitane bath products and Nespresso coffee. It was well stocked with all the tools we needed to make meals. The towels were so soft and smelled great. The beds were very comfortable. The back yard was stunning and was very private. There were plenty of towels for the pool/spa. The heated pool, which costs $75 extra/day to have heated, was worth it during the June gloom weather. The location was very convenient to the 5, 805, and 52 freeways. There was spacious parking in the drive way, enough for 2 cars. I would advise any guests to avoid parking on the street, because the neighbor across the street is territorial about the street parking in front of his home.

Our family had an amazing time. Perfect place to spend family time together. The rooftop outdoor space was a favorite spot for all of us. Convenient location. Quick walk to Bay and good local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place and definitely would stay again! Central location, clean and cozy for a family of four and our kids basically lived in the pool and hot tub (supervised) when we weren’t out and about. Great host, felt like home and fully stocked kitchen.

We had a great stay at Tina’s Place ! The location was ideal for getting around ! There was 11 people in our group ages 2-70 and we were very comfortable! We were able to walk to the beach ( about -10 minutes) as well as to restaurants, shops , bars, etc. the house was central enough to make a short drive to La Jolla, Coronado , Point Loma and of course downtown. In about 20 minutes. The beds were comfy and the backyard was spacious for kids to runaround ! We would definitely air bb again

The house is clean, spacious, and has great decorations. We find it comfortable to stay in Lawrence's house. The host was also very nice and called us to ask whether there was anything we needed to make our experience better. However, there are about 10 high stairs to the front entrance, which is not ideal for people who have difficulty climbing stairs or young children. It is not a big deal for us, but we do have a toddler, so we need to be extra careful to get in and out of the house. The kitchen would benefit from having an electric kettle, so getting hot drinks (tea, instant coffee) would be easier.
