Apartment holiday rentals in San Donato-San Vitale, Bologna

Our stay at the apartment was great. Our host had everything prepared for us including breakfast, snacks and juice for the kid. They were super polite and reacted right away to everything we asked. Everything was super clean and stuffed with everything you could imagine. The apartment is in great location - super close to the city center and 150m away from a nice area with many restaurants, bara and coffees. Close to the University, the neighborhood is full of young people. I would totally recommend the place and if we come back to Bologna, will surely book it again if free!

This is a beautiful apartment in the university district in Bologna, about a 12 minute walk from the old historic center. Francesca is a wonderful host. She answers messages immediately and provides lots of helpful advice on restaurants and the neighborhood. She met us at check-in and was extremely kind and accommodating with our check-in and checkout times. The apartment also has a lot of original artwork, which gives it a really special, unique feel. There is also a beautiful terrace with a room for a few chairs with great views of the city. We loved our stay here.

Great stay! The accommodation was very clean, modern and exactly as described. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent communication with the host – fast, friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the place.

This location is ideal because it is just steps away from shopping and restaurants, but once you enter the building it all falls away and you have privacy and air conditioned peace. It’s is just over a mile walk to the train station where we took day trips to Venice and Florence.

Great area and the flat is quiet considering the amount of people, restaurants and bars. Nice place to stay and the air conditioning was hugely apprecaited

We felt at home right away! With me and my aunt, there was also my one-and-a-half-year-old child, and the spaces were safe and clean, welcoming. Everything was perfect, the stay, the various rooms, the location, just everything! I will definitely ask for availability in case we have to go to Bologna again. The host was kind and friendly, we communicated easily and she was always there when I needed help. The apartment had everything you needed, it was like being at home. There were also verandas, we could lie down on one side and relax in the chairs of the other veranda. Easy access with the stroller both in the ramp and with the elevator. In short, we really enjoyed everything! It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful 3-night stay! We'll be back! Sara, Valentina and Leonardo 💙💜🩵

Paola was very friendly and helpful. Apartment is very nice, the sockets are also EU friendly, relatively quiet. You can constantly hear the birds chirping from the park next door, which makes the atmosphere very relaxing. Also not far from the center.

We had the best weekend in Bologna! We were 3 friends and the location of the apartment was perfect for our plans. In the center of the city and you can walk everywhere. Super nice decor and very clean. When you open the large windows in the morning, you can feel the pulse of the city. The check-in and communication with Stefania was also very fast and uncomplicated. If we go to Bologna again, definitely in the same apartment.

Andrea and the apartment were beyond our expectations. Andrea was so helpful and had the best recommendations for food and drink. It was absolutely beautiful in a great part of the city. Everything is walkable. AMAZING bed that was so comfy. Every Amenity we could think of she had in place. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a great stay in Bologna.

Antonio & Alessandra’s place is an easy 20 minute walk into Central Bologna and is located in a quiet, safe area on the outskirts of the city. The check in experience was great; very responsive, informative & helpful. Antonio shared a map and showed us the local area & route into the city. We were held up in traffic on our way to Bologna, and they waited for our arrival. The flat was super clean & comfortable with a spotless bathroom and kitchen, as well as fridge, washing machine, kettle and coffee maker (with tea & coffee pods & some snacks). The flat is spacious & has a homely feel too, with shutters for the windows so it keeps it dark, and aircon to keep it cool! Upon returning to Bologna, we would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Marcos place, it was about 30 minute walk to the centre, the accommodation was perfect for a city break and had all amenities required. Thank you!

Annalisa was a terrific host, first of all! Super helpful and communicated so well. The location is excellent. First floor is helpful for not having to carry up luggage too far. We had some starter snacks, which was super sweet. We were so thankful to have such a fast washing machine and a beautiful and huge terrace with a rack to dry our clothes quickly. Internet was fast and the kids loved using the TV for movies. There is an amazing cafe right up the road with a convenient taxi stop. Lots of college vibes, which comes with fun food and drink places. The walk to various places was not bad at all. The town grew on us actually. The covered walkways (portici) saved us from the crazy June heat this year. All-around wonderful stay.

Giovanni is communicative & supportive . He welcomed us & took us through his homely unit. He provided sound instructions regarding security & waste disposal. Whilst the unit is a distance from tho centre of Bologna, it is conveniently located near a bus stop & a large supermarket.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Giulia’s place! Lovely and spacious apartment, very well equipped and taken care of (everything you could need is present), and we really enjoyed the neighbourhood; Giulia is a lovely, communicative and helpful host, we hope to stay here again! :)

The location is ideal for exploring Bologna. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The aircon was very efficient. The outside terraces were pleasant to sit in.

We had a wonderful stay at Matteo’s place, really beautiful apartment, super sweet balcony. The perfect location, city center in walkable distance and beautiful neighborhood. Communication with Matteo was super nice, we could even check in two hours before the indicated check in time, which was really convenient! Thank you, we had a great time in Bologna!

This apartment is truly lovely, a real gem. Realkasa were so brilliant to deal with, as I booked less than 24 hours before my arrival and they were very responsive and accommodating. I was very impressed and would highly recommend booking with them.

This airbnb is at a great location from which you can reach everywhere in the city by walking. Host is very warm hearted and always responded quickly. Kitchen and bathroom offer all the basic things you need. Apartment is on the ground floor. Air conditioning works well too. I really enjoyed my stay!

FABULOUS, FABULOUS, FABULOUS location! Bars, restaurants and cafes were right outside of the front door. If you want to be in the heart of old town, in the most superior location, you need to stay here. We would definitely come back.

Fantastic spacious apartment in the heart of Bologna! It was our first visit to this part of Italy and we loved it. The apartment is in a great location. There is a local convenience store a few minutes away where you can get all of your essentials. Nicoletta was a great host, very responsive to my messages and made sure check in smooth and we were happy with everything. There is a wonderful restaurant right next door to the apartment which was brilliant and highly recommended, called Sette Tavoli.
