This was our second time staying at The Homestead and it was just as perfect as we remembered. The home is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked—especially the kitchen, which has everything you need to cook comfortably. The bed is super comfy, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The beautiful backyard is such a peaceful spot to unwind, and the quiet neighborhood makes it even more relaxing. The location is great—close to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel like a retreat. A huge shoutout to Maggie, the host—she’s absolutely wonderful! So responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with. You can tell she truly cares about creating a great experience. We’ll definitely be back again!

The place was in a really nice area wasn’t too far from shops and restaurants and the neighborhood was quiet which is nice. Would definitely recommend for anyone stopping by the city

Great stay! The place was clean and has everything we needed. Felt very peaceful and the host was very responsive. It’s about an hour and a half drive to Yosemite village, which ended up not being too bad!

Leigh’s place was one of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. The place was clean, easy to find, accurate as per the description on the website and close to the center of the town. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again if we are in the area. Furthermore, Leigh was prompt in communication, always willing to help. I forgot my something at the airbnb and Leigh helped me out with it. One of the best hosts ive seen so far!

Veronika’s place was perfect for my family to stay while we were having repairs done at home. Her apartment was clean & cozy, felt just like home. Beds were comfy, TVs in every room were a plus. Appreciated the stocked supplies she provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Ashlee’s home was extremely comfortable, beautiful surroundings especially sunrise in the morning from the mountains, wow!!! I stayed here while I was exploring Yosemite National Park, very great place to come back after exploring, it has everything what you need the washer and dryer was a huge plus and being able to chill outside for the night! I really enjoyed my time here, an experience I will never forget, one of my favorite places i stayed at! I give this .a 10/10, I would recommend this place to anyone exploring the parks! I would definitely stay here again!!! 😊

Absolutely love this home! Perfect amount of space for our family, the pool was clean and the backyard is beautiful! Enough for kids to entertain themselves and had all amenities. Close to shopping and restaurants and very peaceful neighborhood. Quick response and easy check in and check out. Can’t wait to stay again! We will definitely be back! 🩷

The house in Oakhurst is absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are large and the views from both the living room and the master bedroom are to die for. Even if you’re not into hiking, just enjoying those views is a treat in itself. We caught a beautiful sunset on our first evening as we had spent most of the day hiking for the remaining days. The house had everything we needed and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of wine. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. One small note for those visiting from outside the US: the road leading to the house is quite dark at night due to minimal street lighting. That said, it felt completely safe and wasn’t a concern for us. Also, the house is about 1.5 hours from Yosemite Valley so it’s helpful to plan your day trips accordingly.

We used the house as a spacer stay between Sequoia and Yosemite N.P. visits. It was nice to relax a little between the two parks by grilling and chilling at the pool. The house was perfect for this. The pool was immaculate, although a little chillier than we expected for mid-June. The house was very clean and provided all that we needed for our stay. It was a bonus to be able to use the garage to park our vehicle and keep it out of the hot sun.

We were a small group of friends on a weekend getaway to Yosemite. The drive is about 45 minutes to the entrance, and a 5-7 minute drive to Mariposa town for groceries and restaurants. The property was very private and peaceful, lots of games, a hot tub, bbq and fire-pit. Although we were there for a short time (3 nights) and did not get to take full advantage of the amenities, it was still amazing to have access to all of that. The house itself was spotless, beds were comfy and everyone slept really well. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, but I would say the oven temperature was off (would get way too hot and burn our food quickly), so be careful. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again if I had the opportunity.

Quaint and peaceful place, yet so close to town. Dylan’s place is all that you need for a happy vacation. We enjoyed a lot and his place has all the amenities that you need for a relaxing vacation. The outdoors are beautiful with rocky surroundings and occasional deer sightings.

I don't think I've ever had a smoother stay anywhere. The instructions and directions were accurate, and received well in advance. The house matched the photos and description perfectly, or actually exceeded them. The house itself was great. Everything felt clean and new and well-looked-after. The kitchen had everything we needed and more (appliances, cutlery, utensils, etc.). The bedrooms were bigger than we expected, which was nice. The bathrooms were clean and well-appointed. There were plenty of towels placed near the closest exit to the hot tub, which was also clean and clearly well-maintained. If I'm going to be staying in the area again I'll go straight back here!

We had such a great experience staying here! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The space had everything we needed, and it really felt like a home away from home. The bed was super comfortable. Perfect for my little nephew to run around in the back yard. The location was perfect quiet and relaxing but still close to everything we needed. And the host Lizett was absolutely fantastic very friendly, quick to respond, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It’s absolutely perfect and has everything you could possibly need. We were especially delighted to find chopsticks, which totally made our day since we were planning to have ramen and thought we’d have to use forks! The view from the condo is stunning, like something out of a movie, and it was such a treat to have easy access to the beach. Watching the sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. The host was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions for everything, from check-in and check-out to using the washer. The check-in process with the gate attendant was smooth and made us feel extra secure. Everything was super clean and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed at several Airbnbs along Route 1, and this one was undoubtedly the best. Highly recommend!

Terry’s place was great, exactly what we needed. We were originally booked at an RV stay and an hour before check in they let us know that the shower was broken. We have a toddler and I was frantically trying to find a place nearby Bass Lake and luckily Terry accepted my reservation quickly and took us in! It was like a five star hotel compared to what we were going to be in! I’ve managed and cleaned airbnb’s for years and they thought of everything here. Lots of cute little touches and things for our son to play with, as well as coffee and creamer and little treats, and I really appreciated those extra touches. The only thing that bums me out is when we have to ‘clean’ up before check out… strip the beds, unload the dishwasher, take the trash out, etc. in my opinion that’s what cleaners and property managers are for, not guests, but that doesn’t take away from the nice house and experience we had here. Thank you!

We stayed here with our 3-year-old son and all had a wonderful time! The unit we were in was exceptionally clean, quiet, and even had a small view of the ocean! The playground, pool, and beach were all right outside our door and were the highlight of our stay. Trader Joe’s and Target were less than 10 minutes away which was great too. It was a perfect spot to stay as we ventured through Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. Although, the condo was so relaxing we easily could have just stayed put the entire time! Would definitely love to come back! Thanks for being such a great host and for the excellent communication and quick responses!
