Holiday rentals with a fireplace in San Miguel de Allende

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in San Miguel de Allende! The house is even more charming and spacious in person than in the photos, with thoughtful design touches throughout. The location couldn’t be better — just a short, scenic walk to the heart of Centro, but tucked away on a peaceful street that feels like a true retreat. The outdoor spaces, especially the rooftop terrace, were incredible — perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets with sweeping views of the city. The bedrooms were all comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals at home. Every detail felt cared for, and the property was spotless. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, making check-in and the entire stay completely seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and memorable experience in San Miguel!

My stay at this Airbnb was simply unbeatable. From the moment we arrived, the facilities exceeded our expectations: everything was impeccable, modern and with luxurious finishes that really make you feel like you are in a special place. Every detail was carefully taken care of, from the decoration to the comfort of each space. But what really made the difference was the attention of the residential staff. Not only were they kind and professional, but they were always available to help us with any need. They gave us local recommendations, assisted us with reservations, and even took the time to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. This place undoubtedly combines the best of high-end accommodation with the warmth of personalized service. I would recommend it without hesitation to those looking for a complete and first-class experience.

Our stay at Case Ludee exceeded our expectations. The pictures really do not do this house justice. It is so spacious, with multiple seating areas to enjoy - we had five people in the house and we could all be in completely separate areas if we wanted. The artistry of the construction and the furnishings was really exquisite and inspirational. The house was nicely equipped and we had everything that we needed to cook meals and be comfortable. I would stay here again no doubt and would recommend to others. This is not your average Airbnb.

Beautiful, spacious with high ceilings + multiple places to gather within larger space; as much fresh air as you might want, or not. Rooftop patio has options for both shade and sun. View is terrific. Garden is lush. Big kitchen, fully equipped. Fresh flowers on dining room table. Beds are on firm side even with foam toppers. Close to plenty of restaurants, park, cultural options (we heard chamber work at nearby church; Luna Media at nearby restaurant; literary presentation at nearby hotel etc) Listen to Rosie: bring your comfortable shoes for walking. Getting home is uphill but it's definitely doable (healthy 60-somethings.) Yes - barking dogs in the neighborhood. It's SMA. Host provides white noise machine or bring your own! Two aspects we love the most: ground floor layout reminiscent of hacienda - rooms wrap around 3 sides of a courtyard. With the sliding roof, you can bring the outside into the courtyard. And most of all - we love Rosie and her team. Exceptional and gracious.

Stayed here for a girls trip and the home exceeded my expectations and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ginny’s home felt extremely spacious and we had plenty of room even with our large group. I loved the location, we were easily able to walk to several spots and the view was even better! The home fit right in to the city with its beautiful architecture and interesting art throughout. We did have some issues with the WiFi being very spotty and some of the rooms did get pretty warm during the day but there were plenty of fans. I would definitely recommend staying here for your visit!

The only inconvenience were the neighbors throwing buckets at 6am however I was not dependent for anything on Arg. Everything was great

Our party of 6 was overjoyed and delighted to have found such a gem in our AirBnb. We highly recommend it! Their house was amazing, cozy, and felt like home. We were ecstatic that each bedroom had its bathroom and walk-in closet, plus a half bath downstairs which is extremely hard to find in AirBnb’s. Our beds were super comfortable and the linens were great. It was indeed heaven-sent! From the start, our hosts were so friendly, helpful, and informative which is why our airport transfers, excursions, and local trips were stress-free. So, what are you waiting for? Book this place or you’ll regret it!!!!

Great stay! Check in was smooth. Host was very attentive to anything we needed throughout our stay. Location of the place is great. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be back.

Mariana's place is a great location, only a few blocks from San Miguel's centro. That's the best part of the airbnb. It's a basic loft accommodation, nothing fancy, but enough to make you comfortable. The bed was good, the kitchen good enough to make simple meals. The shower had plenty of hot water. The terrace for the restaurant Quince backs up to the property, so it could be noisy at times, but the bedroom fan provided good sound masking. Two weeks into my stay, the roof started to leak onto the bed and Mariana immediately moved me into another one of her properties, which happened to be right next door and a nice two bedroom. She arranged for a workman to fix the roof right away. Be sure to bring a three prong/two prong electrical adaptor with you to Mexico, you will need it for this space. And an extension cord if you want to work downstairs. Mariana was always extremely accommodating and an excellent communicator, you could tell she really cares about her guests' comfort.

Absolutely 10/10 experience staying at Quinta Tenerias! Sharon was so helpful and communicative. The apartment was so beautiful and spacious for 4 people - two full master bedrooms. The concierge going grocery shopping for us saved us a ton of time and added a nice touch being able to cook breakfast every morning. Best part is that housekeeping cleaned daily and addressed every need! What an incredible, walkable, safe part of San Miguel. We will definitely be back!

The house is a 15’ walk from the city center in a very quiet area. Spread over two floors, the rooms and living areas are nicely decorated and feel comfortable.

The villa loft was beautiful! We loved the decor and the feel of it. It was blocks always from restaurants, bars, and the main square. The loft was a very nice size and the rooftop view was amazing!

Beautifully designed two story apartment in a boutique hotel environment. It looks just like the photos on Airbnb. Several very nice restaurants within about a 7 minute walk. Highest quality standards for an Airbnb. Communication was good whenever there was a question. Thanks again!

This classy, well-kept, and well-located place is wonderfully accessible to the Cathedral, the main plaza, and other key place places at the city center. As a poet and novelist, I loved the fact that the upscale apartments were named after major Mexican literary figures, such as Nobel Laureate Octavio Paz: respect for writers! I was grateful for, among other things, the sumptuous king-sized bed, the elegant rooftop terraces, the bedroom balcony, and the responsive and friendly hosts.

Stacey’s place is beautiful, convenient, and well-appointed. It had tons of space, was close to the town center if we wanted to go out to eat, and close to the mercado and a cute little neighborhood grocery if we wanted to cook. There are lovely outdoor spaces upstairs and downstairs for lounging; everyone in our party of six was very comfortable and happy in the space. Stacey herself was extremely accommodating and helpful both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Ines was a wonderful host. She always responded in a timely manner when I had questions. The airbnb was clean, and located minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience in San Miguel.

The property is truly spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a pleasant family reunion. The house has many details that add comfort, rest, fun and everything you need to spend a good vacation. Jorge was always attentive and his workers also provided a first-class service. We will definitely stay at this property again, which I can easily say has been the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Thank you Jorge for all your attentions.

This was a fabulous location to stay in in SMA. My family of 13 was so comfortable; plenty of room. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Rosario and her sister Lolita took care of every need. Rosario‘s cooking was amazing we only got to have dinner one night because we had so many plans but the morning breakfasts were fabulous And always a supply of chips and salsa during the day for anyone to snack on. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende . five days was not enough! Many of my guests did walk to and from town but others chose to Uber/taxi and that was very easy. We did some wonderful hiking tours , music tours , ATV excursions and lots of fun shopping and fantastic restaurants. We were visiting for a family wedding but I would certainly go back. Thank you Nancy for offering this fabulous location and thank you to Rosario for making us feel so welcome.

We didn’t know much about Villas Xichu when we booked it — it just seemed to be a convenient and reasonably priced higher-end accommodation. But Gloria was extremely friendly and communicative from the word “go”, checking in with us frequently as our stay approached. When we finally arrived (while Gloria herself was abroad), the staff welcomed us right away, and we were very pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to the nuptial suite. This was a significant upgrade to a beautiful apartment with a stunning view of SMA, amazing decor and many thoughtful amenities. Gloria continued to check in how we were finding things, made us feel right at home and part of the Villas Xichu family! I heartily recommend and can’t wait to return!

Our stay was just what we expected: pleasant, quiet and comfortable. The accommodation is as described in the publication and with everything you need to enjoy the weekend. The area is safe and very quiet, ideal for resting. The beds are very comfortable, the services work perfectly and the place was well prepared. In addition, Hector was an excellent host, he was always very attentive and helpful before and during our stay, which made everything much easier. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.
