Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso donde compartimos un fin de semana acompañado de perros y naturaleza, un lugar acogedor para ir en grupo o en pareja muy espacioso en la cocina equipada para preparar lo que nos gusta... Aun siendo pequeño para explorar, la compañía de los perros y lo hermoso de la vegetación hacen muy amena la estadía en un clima donde aunque hace frio la casa conserva muy bien el calor... Nos encantó el lugar

Fredy and his wife were excellent hosts. Vey beautiful place with outstanding landscaping. The cabin itself was very nice. They have two big dogs and three cats, but animals are very common in Costa Rica. Good location for day trips, and places to stop/eat. Quiet, peaceful, enjoyable area! When we reported a sink faucet developed a problem ,Fredy replaced it while we were out. Would stay here, again!

Ein Haus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer großzügig. Ich habe dort sehr gut geschlafen. Und der Garten ein Traum. Keto war sehr großzügig. Ich durfte mir noch nachmittags einen Salat vor meiner Abreise machen und diesen im Garten essen, obwohl ich eigentlich um 11 das Zimmer verlassen hatte. Danke!

Me lleve una gran sorpresa, el lugar es increíble, visite el lugar con mi esposa, el lugar súper limpio, hay de todo, es un lugar seguro, desde la ubicación nos pudimos desplazar con facilidad a muchos sitios incluyendo restaurantes, tiendas etc. el personal súper amable, parqueo seguro, definitivamente volvería a ir y se convirtió en nuestro lugar cuando visitemos San José, lo recomiendo por la tarifa y por todo lo demás antes mencionado.

We enjoyed staying at Cat’s and Yolanda’s home. Even though there is shared common areas, we felt very comfortable and private. Afternoon swims in the pool and lounging in the hot tub was relaxing. Quiet mornings in the upper deck were peaceful and you could hang out and enjoy the gorgeous valley view. We are fairly active so walks into town were very doable. Atenas has a good mix of tourists and locals and is a friendly town.

We absolutely loved staying here! Tomás is incredibly kind, helpful and communicative. The stay was perfect, the location is stunning and we couldn’t have asked for better! A must-do location for a peaceful and relaxing stay!!

El lugar es hermoso! Super céntrico pero se siente como si se estuviera apartado de todo. La casa, la piscina, las areas verdes todo estaba en excelente estado y Roy fue super atento! Definitivamente volveremos!

I highly recommend this home!! Especially if you need to be near the San Juan de Dios or the Children's Hospital. Right in the center of downtown and all that is here. I stayed here because my husband was in the hospital and this family helped me so much! They know the hospital and people who work there. Makes navigation of the system so much easier! The house is an older house that the owner is gradually renovating. She has re-done the rooms for rentals and made them very comfortable. There is a central sitting area and a balcony where I had my morning coffee! The original parquet flooring and other antiques give the rooms a special charm. The rooms are large with large ensuite bathrooms. Easy to find. Parking is available. It is on a busy street, but it gets quiet at night. I slept so well. I highly recommend this place, especially if you need to be at one of the nearby hospitals. Isa was very easy to communicate with, and truly is the best host.

Me he hospedado dos veces y es un lugar maravilloso. La combinación entre el clima frío y el jacuzzi lo hace todo distinto.

Very kind and responsive host — always happy to offer help or answer questions. The house felt extremely secure, and I loved working remotely from the peaceful outdoor patio. The cooler temperatures at this elevation made for perfect nights. While some streets are hilly, the area felt very safe and walkable. There’s a bus stop right outside and plenty of food options within a 15-minute Uber. Overall, a great stay and a host who truly went above and beyond.

It is a wonderful place next to a River. I really enjoyed my stay. Marianela was a great host. She even went shopping with me on my first day because I had no car. The property is located off any Traffic noise… but since it is quite close to the airport you hear the airplanes starting around 4:30 am. The hot tub only gets to 35 degrees C and takes a while to get warm . But it was still nice to relax in the horrible. I would come back!

Excelente ubicación, el trato de Leo muy amable y servicial. Un lugar súper lindo y tranquilo para relajarse sin ir muy lejos de San José. Y la propiedad hermosa en cada detalle, muy agradecidos por la atención.

The photos don’t do justice to this beautiful “Hacienda”, come here to recharge and enjoy nature. Rooms are beautiful with views of nature. Great place for family gatherings, close to nearby markets, all and all a perfect 10!

Great quiet hotelito. Friendly helpful staff. Nice location for neighborhood walks. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Great for the price. City park in the area and incredible fried chicken restaurant close by. Easy 5-10 minutes from the airport.

Lugar excelente. Cuenta con áreas comunes: piscina, cocina, sala de estar, terraza y cancha de basquetball. Hay parrilla de gas, horno, microondas, Coffee maker, refrigerador con congelador y dispensador de hielo, área de lavado. La habitación principal cuenta con jacuzzi privado.

Simplemente espectacular don Daniel se portó a la altura , su empatía y su forma de tratarnos fue genial Mil por mil recomendado para quienes deseen tener un momento de paso o de descanso , en mi caso , me solventó todas las situaciones que tuve, desde que le contacté, llegué y me fui . Grandioso

Es un lugar lleno de calma, perfecto para alejarse de la ciudad. el lugar es precioso y las fogatas en la noche dan un toque único. Gracias por tan lindo espacio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the mountain house. The indoor garden is beautiful with the open sky above it. Marvi was fabulous and so helpful! Vicky and Jorge made tómales for us one night and went above nasty beyond the call of duty!!! Thank you for a fantastic time. It was like part camping with great amenities!!!

This lovely, luxurious home is the perfect place to get away. It is beautiful, private, and in a great location. With the casita set behind the main house, the setting is peaceful and safe. The home is very enjoyable and well laid out. Ample porches to enjoy the garden. Would book again.
