“We enjoyed our stay at Dilan very much. We had all our lunches on site and we were able to discover different variants of Sri Lankan cuisine. As soon as we needed a tuck-tuck for our trips, Dilan got us one quickly. The room is modest but with everything you need. We were happy to be able to use the small refrigerator in the common room to keep water, juice and beer. To have a drink on the small terrace was a pleasant moment after a hot day. We recommend this place with pleasure.”
D'Villa Garden House is conveniently located within the city limists of Jaffna. Our accommodation fully furnished convenient accommodations. City center is 3Km and other attractions can be accessed by walk / bicycles / scooters from our house.
“The rooms are new and spacious with a great aircon, many channels on the TV (including in English) hot water and a comfortable bed. All for a really good price too! Raj was very accommodating to some special requests and he went out of his way to help organise a scooter hire for us that made exploring the surrounds so much better. We stayed for 5 nights and when we return we will book at D'Villa again for sure!”
“We enjoyed our stay at DILAN D'Villa Guest House! Dilan & his family were very kind. Room was fine & is equipped with a fan, a moskito net and an AC which did not work. Unfortunately it is located next to the railway but in a very quit area (no cars, just the train). Therefore it can be very loud and a bit scarry when the train passes the house. Walking distance to the railway station (20 minutes) & 5 minutes to a supermarkt and a small local restaurant where you can buy vegetable rice for 150Rs & around 40 minutes to Jaffna Fort. Breakfast was good (traditional :) ) & it costs around 250Rs per person. If you want to have breakfast, inform him a day before which we did not know at first :(. I would recommend it if you don't mind about the train :) Thank you, Dilan!”
