Holiday rentals with beach access in Sandy Bay

The Airbnb was exactly as described and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded the day we arrived. The area was safe and walkable the restaurants and nightlife. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit. Location, safety, price, clean, and comfortable…checks off all the boxes.

We enjoyed our 1 week stay at Mel’s place. It had all the basic necessities we needed for our stay. It is about a 2 minute walk from the beach and restaurants in West Bay. It is also located in a small strip mall with a grocery store and coffee shop. Communication was good and check-in/check-out was smooth. Good value for the price.

Spent 8 days enjoying this apartment. Loved that security is downstairs at all times and friendly, making sure everyone is safe when coming and going. Great AC and plenty of hot water, loved being able to wash clothes whenever. WiFi was fast and free Netflix to enjoy after a long day in the water. Area was very quiet at night and super quick walk around the corner to the beach. Definitely had a wonderful vacation :)

We stayed in for two weeks and it was an excellent experience. The internet worked great for work. The location is perfect, in a quiet and secure place. The kitchen was very well equipped and the washing machine was a great plus for a long stay. Albert and Patty were very friendly and responded quickly to all our needs. Highly recommended!

Tanya’s cabana is cozy and priced right for size of accommodations. Private porch to sit out on to enjoy coffee while watching the hummingbirds, lizards and birds in their lush gardens. Peaceful, private pool and 5min walk to a variety of restaurants and beautiful beach to snorkel right off of. Roatan still has its charm and lovely locals.

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Cove. Everything was as advertised and the condo was very clean. We were already familiar with the location, so we knew exactly what to expect from the location and the walk to the West End commercial strip. Would greatly recommend. We were also pleased with Roatan Vacation Rentals who manage the property. They were very proactive and responsive to us and can arrange many things such as transportation to and from the airport and also with any other activities you may want to plan during your stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and in good condition. This is a daylight basement unit with a home on top of it. This means you can sometimes hear the people upstairs, but overall it's extremely quiet. AC was new and worked great. We did not need to leave it on when we left as it cooled the home extremely quickly when we returned. It's on a dirt road that got muddy when it rained one day, but it did dry up pretty quickly. It is definitely an easy walk to the beach. There are some beach chairs right at the end of the road where it meets the beach that are available to use which is very convenient. You don't have to carry them with you from the Airbnb. The outdoor shower on the enclosed patio was really nice to use to get the sand and ocean water off. Of course the diving, ocean water, and beaches were the best in the world. We loved our stay and really appreciate Renee making her home available.

The house is definitely everything posted and more. Bring enough food if you plan on cooking dinners. A lot of small items can be purchased in town. (West End) However, restaurants are close in both directions. Walking to dinner towards the West Bay, is easy. Going towards West End is also easy but best done in the day time. Water shoes, Tevas or Keens are best. I recommend walking because it is close in both directions, but the heat may be too much for some. especially going towards West End. transportation...I recommend a 4 wheeler, if they rent them. Why, the hill towards the beach is no joke. We workout daily, I am a runner and my wife does boot camps. Was it easy, no, but we did it at a minimum 3 times a day. We enjoyed the house, people, water and island very much. Thanks! The house was great!

Barb and Jay, along with Christina were helpful hosts who made transportation to and from the airport to the Airbnb easy and safe. Their Airbnb was so charming, and the breeze through the room was always blowing. The location is walkable to many restaurants and dive shops. The water taxi stand is right down the road for easy transportation as well. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed for cooking. Thanks so much for hosting me! 😊

Richard's home was perfect! Well equipped and Just high enough to enjoy a splendid view of the sea, 180 degrees, especially from the small terrace (covered) upstairs! Richard was very helpful in organizing boat expeditions in the surrounding area that allowed me to discover a superb place of apnea, in complete tranquility, the most beautiful apnea of my life! Access to the sea was not quite direct, but the locals, very kind, allowed me to get there without any problem. To discover in particular, the restaurant La Sirena, 3 minutes walk away, and further by Jade Beach boat on the island of Barbareta and the apnea around Pigeon Cay. I hope to go back someday…

My friends and I had the most incredible and relaxing girls' trip at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view—it was truly picture-perfect and made every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I absolutely loved this house! It’s in the best location on the island, close to the most beautiful beaches and in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need. The owners and the property manager were incredibly kind and always made sure everything was perfect during our stay. I spent 3 wonderful days here with my family and we’re all super happy with the experience. We will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here — it makes getting around much easier.

In the heart of our favorite neighborhood on Roatan. Brand new and spotlessly clean. Brian was responsive and friendly as was his management service. No need for a car. Great restaurants, dive shops and swimming beach. Would prefer the upper suite if available for better view and more privacy, especially from street and security lights at night

If Nolans place is available- book it! My wife and 3 kids (5, 3, 2) had such an unforgettable experience. We were looking for more of a private, spacious experience, and this exceeded our expectations. The space was even better than the pictures and the ocean views were so wonderful. Deissy cooked our breakfasts and dinners: not only are they delishous but also cost saving, we would certainly recommend this amazing option. We can't thank Nolan enough, he is thorough and very communicative to make sure all our needs are met. He offers many ideas, and has contacts such as our photographer that we were able to reserve for stunning family photos at the beach. Thank you Nolan for being such a fantastic host, you truly go above and beyond and we felt the love. We would definitely return if we were in the area again! This is a resort experience via customer service with someone who is passionate about making us happy, with a private pool and a basically private beach that is 1-2 min drive.

I recently stayed at Katherine’s Place in Roatan, Honduras, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property was incredibly quiet, private, and peaceful, with direct access to the ocean that made every moment feel like a tropical escape. The tropical fruit trees in the yard added a special touch, creating a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation. There was no traffic or noise, allowing me to fully unwind and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Whether enjoying the ocean breeze or simply taking in the natural beauty, every moment was enjoyable and rejuvenating. I highly recommend Katherine’s Place to anyone looking for a serene and memorable stay in Roatan!

Jessica's house was nice and clean and we felt right at home. She has all the basics needed for basic cooking for your stay. The location was peaceful and was walking distance to many dive shops, restaurants and gift shops. perfect area if you do not have a rental car. would stay here again.

Pros: Spacious, fully equipped, beautiful pool, great location, private bedrooms with full baths on either end of condo, very functional kitchen, nice BBQ, 3 balconies and outdoor seating, comfortable furniture and beds, great wi-fi, nice laundry facilities. Cons: Noise from barking dogs, light all night from service office, construction noise from 3 nearby villas, floor grouting old. We were very comfortable during our stay and would recommend this rental to others. Would also recommend Reef Gliders as a diver operator. Easy walk to their operation.

We had a great week at this condo! Vanessa was extremely responsive to all questions. She arranged our pick up at the airport which was very helpful. The condo was spacious for our family of four and the pool was a great amenity. We loved taking a water taxi to the Mayan Princess in West Bay to enjoy the beach and pool. Snorkeling was amazing right off the beach! The condo was a short walk to all of the great restaurants in West End. There are a lot of steps to get up to the condo so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Like some others said, the linens & decor could use a refresh but overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

Great place. Mellisa recommendations were awesome! We had a great time and would love to go back someday. Jacksons dive shop is a 1 minute walk up the road. They were fantastic. Mellisa also recommended a driver, Marco. He was the best and we never needed a rental car.

Bills place is beautiful and so well equipped. We had amazing coffee, every spice and kitchen utensil, towels. Cold cups- cooler- way more than expected. The views were incredible, great restaurants within walking distance- definitely no car needed. We will definitely be back- nice pool and so responsive- really wonderful experience!

Staying at Wanda’s place was a great experience. The 2 bed, 2 bath condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable with plenty of room to relax. We especially loved having a full kitchen to cook breakfast and prep snacks throughout the day. The view overlooking the pool was a bonus and made mornings even more peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Susie's place was great! Very clean and matched the pictures. She's a very responsive host as well. I would definitely stay again!
