Cottage holiday rentals in Sandy Hook

Awesome location, I grew up in the area and being able to visit with such an awesome location was great. definitely recommend a few nights stay if you get a chance. Keith was really helpful and friendly, would definitely visit again in the future

What a beautiful retreat in the country. Very peaceful and restorative. Wonderful extensive trails on property - well groomed, marked and cared for. We enjoyed both walking and mountain biking on the trails. Sauna was amazing - loved seeing the trees through the sauna window while sauna bathing in the day, and the stars through the window in the evening. Enjoyed the outdoor gazebo swing in the evening with the ambience lights around the gazebo. Home is welcoming and well set up. Kitchen is a lovely space. Compost toilet was a nice feature (no smell, and appreciated this eco friendly system that reduces water usage). Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Toadhall - a true haven.

A beautiful spot in lovely Gimli! Family friendly and impeccably decorated. Dana was a wonderful, accommodating, and responsive host.

Wonderful stay with our family of five. Peaceful and private cabin, everything we needed was there! Kids enjoyed walking to the local park. Spruce Sands park/beach was just a short drive away, great swimming beach there with cheap icecream and snacks. Perfect family getaway, thanks again!!!

Excellent stay with no negatives. -Lots of space -clean -enough bedding options for each persons preferences -thoughtful details like 2 kinds of night lights -fully functioning kitchen and equipment -clear instructions on check out requirements and where to find something we needed and how to use remotes, etc. -wood stove was safe and super cozy -lots of natural light from windows -a huge yard with so many great seating places -hot tub was very clean and fully functional -a short walk to the water I could easily go on! Also, the host was very quick to respond when we had questions which we really appreciated. My friends and I are hoping to be back again. 10/10 reccomend.

The place was perfect, large and spacious. Loved the wrap around deck. Clean kitchen with several small appliances and lots of windows. Perfect dining nook with a nice table and a beautiful wooden bench, perfect for sitting at and playing cards or games. Clean comfortable beds with nice linens. It's a short walk to the farmer's market, a little further to the beach. There was a nice listing of local events and businesses, very much appreciated.

My children and I have visited this place two times and both times it was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of room, clean, peaceful, quiet pool and deck area. Diane was quick to respond to any questions we had.

We had such an amazing stay at Sareli’s listing. My partner and I were wanting to celebrate after a very stressful few months and initially were unsure whether we would be able to make it happen based on the availability. Sareli and her partner went above and beyond to make things work for us so that we would be able to have a lovely weekend getaway before my partner would have to leave for a month. During our stay, Sareli was so helpful with recommendations and quick replies. I also cannot express enough how helpful all of the instructions on the listing page complete with photos and all the labels in and around the cottage were for us! We found the location so magical. We spent nights sat in the hot tub, with the wood fire crackling, watching the stars and listening to the birds chirp away. We felt so at peace. It was so so worth it and my partner and I cannot wait until we can visit again (hopefully next time with the rest of our family as well!) 🥰

This place was a great getaway. No issues at all with cottage or host. Glenn was very accommodating and started communicating a couple of days in advance of our trip. Glenn was also extremely responsive. we would absolutely come back again.

Truely a home away from home! the location was top notch just mere minutes from winnipeg beach. quiet neighborhood, nice to be able to enjoy a bonfire and BBQ with everything you needed! the kitchen was well stocked and the beds super comfy! rhe rain shower head was an amazing touch and so nice to enjoy after 2 days in the sun

A wonderful house with everything you need. The children especially liked the playground. Neat, clean, has all the right things and more. We were pleasantly surprised, our vacation was a success 100 percent.

We stayed for an ice fishing trip, we unloaded our snobear when we got there and were able to drive the machine to and from the lake each day, about a 1 min drive to the access we used. Parking is a little limited but 2 vehicles with trailers could park there on the side of the road. The house was very nice for a fishing trip. The only down side is having to clean fish outside but would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was great place but the beds were not great cause they were sagging

Get ready for a step back in time. Your holiday will be filled with nostalgia. We really enjoyed the Matlock area, plus quiet and friendly neighbors. Just a quick hop into Wpg Beach for the market, laundry, and a few restaurants. Some of the places have random hours. We really like Trebles. Of course you have to watch for the mosquitos in early AM and late evening. Bring your lotion or spray. But that is Manitoba. The house has a lot of nick-nacks so if you have kids or a pet, you may want to put some items out of reach. We stayed 3 weeks and at the end of the stay we did not want to pack our car and leave for the city. Enjoy the short walk to the pier and if you are brave the water is about 60 defrees F. Too cold for us but many folks were swimming every day.

What a wonderful and peaceful 3 days. The house is cute and quaint and clean. A sleepy town in walking distance of the beach. I felt safe and relaxed and wish I had more time to spend there. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Amazing Space! Close to Winnipeg Beach and Gimli, but little village of Matlock is sweet little spot on its own! Truly relaxing space Notley Creek has built themselves, very much reminded me of Chalets in Ontario Cottage Country! We’re already considering doing a week here every Summer, really enjoyed the whole area’s vibe!!!

The cottage was a fabulous place for our family to have a getaway. Everything was set up super well with all necessities in the kitchen and comfortable places to relax in the house and out on the deck and around the firepit. Even an area to play a yard game beside the cottage. It was all very clean and well organized. We liked that we could walk to the sandy beach in a few minutes. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

This is a lovely spot! The big lake is just outside the cabin front. Hearing the waves pound the shoreline is a highlight for us. So restful. The cabin itself is large and comfy, with two upstairs deck to choose from. All in all, a gem!
