Captain Davis Cottage a privately owned river cottage located in Sandy Point, VA. Close to where the Potomac River meets the Chesapeake Bay, the cottage has a large beach and private pier. New construction, modern amenities and craftsman touches by the owner. Rental includes main cottage (3 BR, 2 bath) and guest cottage (1 BR, 0 bath). ADA Friendly. Memorial Day + Labor Day weekends are 3 day minimums, in between those two weekends (summer) we rent Friday to Friday for a 7 night rental.

Historic St. Mary's City, MD

1,000 square foot two-bedroom, one bath waterfront apartment features separate entrance and a screened-in porch overlooking the St. Mary’s River. Property has a large dock and a small private beach. Jellyfish, crabs, and oysters make swimming challenging, although many swim off the dock in the deeper water. No Diving! Dogs are welcome. We just ask that they be on a leash. The apartment is attached to part of the house where we reside, although it is sealed off and nothing is shared.

We’ve owned in the same neighborhood in St. Mary's County since 2005 and are eager to show guests why we love it here. Our house sits on the confluence of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. Enjoy the property's private beach and dock, or a fire overlooking the water. Inside, there are 3 bedrooms, a fully furnished kitchen, living room and a separate dining room and den to enjoy with WiFi throughout. Only 1 hour and 15 minutes from King’s Dominion.

This tiny houseboat sits permanently on a boat lift, so you will have the unique experience of being over water without the risk of sea sickness! Located in the heart of quaint Solomons Island, this is a great stay if you love being near the water. Unparalleled views from your private porch. Please note, due to extensive pet damage we have changed this property to strictly no animals. You will be asked to leave if you arrive with a pet.
