Farmstay holiday rentals in Santa Clara County

My friends and I had our first out of town girls trip at the Lavender House. We had an absolutely amazing experience! Getting to the property was fairly easy, however, the turn off to the farm stay can easily be missed- so pay attention! Toni gave us helpful directions as well. If you have a low ride car or truck, be careful as the pavement is a bit rocky! The Lavender House itself was beautiful. We had everything we needed for our trip. The kitchen was filled with amenities and the bathroom was stocked with extra toiletries! The TV has cable and regular channels, no streaming networks like Netflix. We got to walk around the property to see the various animals on the farm. There’s a map provided of the property showing all the trails you can take. Additionally, the Lavender House is close to Santa Cruz Beaches and redwoods! Toni was a helpful and communicative host! She ensured our needs were met and we are very thankful. We look forward to staying here again!

Our family LOVED staying in Tamara's cottage for the holiday where we cooked, hiked, watched movies, and visited all of the sweet animals! Greg took the time to show our younger daughter around the farm and introduce her to every animal. He even let her take an egg home! We're so grateful for the family time we had here.

I had a great stay here with my daighter and german shepherd. It was great to have the beach all to ourselves every morning by walking just a block over. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and the greenery outside was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay with Jasmine! She was a very friendly host and helped us out with whatever we needed. The petting zoo she has was one our highlights there! Would recommend a stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Kunal made us feel right at home. We enjoyed visiting the chickens every morning before heading out. The house was clean and spacious with comfortable furniture and a comfy bed with nice linen. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Amazing property & setting, absolutely loved the pool, sport court, etc. Hosts were communicative & easy, will certainly be back for another warm-weather escape.

Overall great stay! Owners are very friendly and welcoming into their home. We loved the outdoor kitchen and pool - it was more bang for your buck than hotel rooms in the area and much more privacy. If you're looking for a "family vibe" type stay, this is it. If you're looking for an AirBnb that you don't ever see/talk to the owners, this may not be for you. But the place is clean, has all the amenities, and you can cook full/healthy meals while traveling!

Susan's home was exactly that...home. It's an older house with its own quirks but my parents and pets and I felt so comfortable the moment we walked in. Thank you, Susan!

We enjoyed our two-night stay at the cozy Airstream and felt right at home with the dogs, chickens, goats and horses. Although we were busy visiting friends in the area more than onsite, the time we did spend at the Airstream was relaxing and very comfortable. The eggs and coffee were great for breakfast too. This is a unique, spacious, comfortable, beautiful, clean and fun place to stay. We had eight people in our group — four kids (3rd grader to 8th grader) and four adults (two couples). So much space to spread out, relax, read, play games, socialize, cook, eat, work (if needed), swim, soak in the hot tub, and just explore the property and the surrounding area. We hope to be back. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this place — and for being so welcoming and also responsive if we had a question.

Our stay at Dynomite Farm was magical. It is a very special place. Markus was a kind, thoughtful, and responsive host. The care and love that have gone into creating the farm are palpable. It was immaculate, beautiful, and so peaceful. We were surprised by how clean it was, especially considering that it is a functioning urban farm. We were in Santa Cruz for a family milestone and are so grateful to have been in such a special place to celebrate. While there, we met the caretaker, Bailey, and her cat, who were both so friendly and welcoming. She even shared some local tips with us. We felt so lucky to get to stay for the weekend and hope to return. Thank you, Markus, for sharing your lovely farm!

Repeat guest - Lisa's place is in the right location for me. Shame not to be able to use all the facilities - too busy! Plenty of thoughtful touches and a very proactive host. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful stay! We loved feeling so far away even though we were so close to town and the coast. In proper winter fashion, we stayed cozy and cooked hearty meals. Any cooking improvisational moves we needed to make, Patricia was there to help us out. The persimmons, the fairy lights in the rain, the chatty chickens—it all lent to a beautiful stay. We had a great stay at Nick's sweet, modern hideaway in the Californian hills. Stylish and comfy, modern and inviting, ~~ our small family of three made the most of our time in the Soquel area with hikes, mountain biking and close by brewery stops! With a young one with us, we REALLY appreciated access to laundry, trampoline, playset area and toys accessible at his place. Mom & Dad really appreciated wine time on the deck in the evening overlooking Monterey Bay in the not so far off. Nick is upfront about making his home your home for the stay and he over-delivers on that promise! Thanks Nick!

I stayed here for two weeks and wish it could have been longer! Quiet, morning sun streaming through the French doors, lounging on the deck with my morning tea to watch the birds.Very quiet, an excellent place to get some work done. I'm not an artist, but this is indeed a unique opportunity to stay in an artist's studio, well equipped and ready for one to begin drawing and painting. Denise is the best host ever!

I brought my 9 yr old daughter back for the 2nd year in a row, and she had such a great time for her birthday getaway! Lauren and Mack are the friendliest and kindest hosts we've ever met. This is the place to be if you love animals and a farm-to-table experience. We also had fun learning how to make Mack's yummy sourdough bread, milk a goat, and make goat milk soap!

This Airbnb is one of those rare places where photos simply don’t do it justice. The view is truly breathtaking—vineyard, mountains, ocean, and forest all in one. The foggy weather made it feel even more magical. Robin was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering helpful recommendations. We also enjoyed a wine tasting with their excellent selection. We stayed for two nights to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was nothing short of amazing. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place. You can’t go wrong with it.

My stay with Mj was fantastic, home away from home. Location is great, close to everything. Mj cooked me the most amazing breakfast according to my dietary needs, provided me the beach chair and towel to relax on the beach. I felt very welcome and cared. Thank you!

Stayed here for two nights, Regina was amazing! We felt so bad, the ac and shades in bedroom weren’t working and she was so quick to resolve it. The place was so serene and beautiful, by far the best place we’ve stayed in California. I would definitely come and stay there again. Having her as a host made the stay even better. Her attention to detail and quick responses made us feel truly taken care of. The combination of the peaceful surroundings, the beautiful accommodations, and Regina’s hospitality made this an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend to anyone!

It was a pleasure staying in Anastasia and Rafael’s! They were so helpful in sending local recommendations and clear information for our stay early, and were only a text away for everything we needed. The suite itself was clean, wonderfully decorated, and welcoming. The private garden was so beautiful and well-kept, and we enjoyed spending some evening and morning time outside. They also had so many amenities available (literally anything we could have needed). We found the variety of toiletries and bedding impressive. Overall we enjoyed the peaceful and cozy atmosphere and would definitely return!
