Our home is located in Santa Fe, a popular coastal neighbourhood in the West of Havana, nearby Marina Hemingway, 30 minutes by car from Old Havana. In our neighbourhood we practice snorkeling and wind surfing. The house has three levels and is fully air-conditioned. We have a spacious terrace with nice views of the ocean and the sunset. We included everything necessary for a breakfast.

A great place to relax. A house with all amenities. From all areas of the house you have direct ocean views, and in the afternoons you can enjoy an expecatory sunset. Eva was very helpful and always attentive to our requests. In the cold there were some things like water and beers, with an extra cost, but ideal when you just arrived and are settling in. Santa Fé is a bit far from the center of the city, but if you have a car you have no problem. You'll be close to the Hemingway Marina, and Baracoa beach (striker's village), west of Havana. Also very close to the house there is a Paladar, Los Artesanos, with very rich food and at a good price. Our stay couldn't have been better.

Mauro's place was as pictured and the house staff were always available, helpful, and friendly while also respecting your use of the space. The property is as pictured, but is in a more remote province of Havana that is not near the city center and does not have good access to taxis and local food options so you are forced to eat at the property or to pay the pricier prices of the surrounding seaside restaurants on the avenue. Taxis to good restaurants were a bit pricey and resulted in a not very budget friendly stay, although it was a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and private seaside oasis.

The accommodation is the same as the photos and the quality of this Airbnb is well above the average offer of available places in Havana Vieja. Besides being a comfortable place with great air conditioning and shower, Jorge's reception and support made everything even better. Jorge was a true angel on our trip, facilitating our arrival, arranging a taxi to bring us to and from the airport, and even giving recommendations for places to eat and visit. Jorge also exchanged money for us, supported us in the search for tours, coordinated our transportation to visit other neighborhoods, and even gave us a free internet chip so we could use it during our stay. Anyway, this Airbnb was our Safe Harbor in a chaotic Havana and Jorge was undoubtedly our guardian and the most important person on our trip, without exaggeration! I recommend it with my eyes closed if you seek to live intensely in Havana Vieja and its surroundings full of life, music, people and history!
