Holiday rentals with breakfast in Santana

Host instructions are clear. The house is located in an elevated hamlet. The access is very sloping. There is a great view of the ocean and a levada. We slept well because the place is peaceful compared to Funchal. We were cold because of the bad weather but we added blankets available. Pretty Maderian house! The neighbor who had taken our location from the car, offered us turnips that were excellent. 1/4 hour drive from Calheta.

Staying with Goretti and Mauricio was a wonderful experience, they made us feel at home from the first moment. She is always on top of everything and helps you with anything, always willing to give good local recommendations and also an excellent cook. He is equally attentive, joking and making you smile at any moment with his anecdotes and good humor. He is an expert in the island's customs and took us to a couple of fantastic places to eat and drink typical Madeiran food and drinks. The accommodation has all the possible amenities: room and bathroom equipped with everything you may need, large terrace from where you can see the sea and also have free parking It's perfectly connected to the airport, the capital Funchal and other attractions. In short, the hosts are highly recommended, as is their home. It was great to meet them and stay there. Thank you both so much for everything :)

Antonio's house is very beautiful, spotless and clean. Antonio is very welcoming and does not hesitate to spend time and share with his guests. At breakfast, he offers us fruits, homemade bread and others... He speaks very good French... It was a nice experience. I totally recommend it.

We stayed 1 night at Paul and Janett's and we recommend this accommodation 100%. It is close to the airport and the room with its balcony and bathroom is very spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Paul and Janett were very nice. Bonus for the view of the airport runway that allows you to watch landings and takeoffs from the balcony.

Where do I even start? Everything about this place was magical and amazing! For the first three days of our stay we didn’t even go anywhere. We woke up slow and enjoyed the grounds. The most amazing Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in truly provided a much needed break which invites you to slow down from the busyness of life and get in touch with nature. Each morning we made a delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients from our host. Walked the property and greeted the animals, taking in the view and beautiful gardens and flowers. My 8 year old loved cutting fresh herbs and lettuces to make a salad each night that would go with dinner. The home felt like a rustic castle and we loved all the space we had and feeling spread out. The hobbit bar was a treat! We booked massages and I enjoyed mine outside which was lovely. This place is such a gem and we are so grateful for the experience! We will definitely be back again.

Amazing breakfast in the morning! We only stayed one night we arrived late and left for our hike and camping early the next day, so didn’t really get the chance to enjoy the room, but it is very well located, right next to the natural pools.

Perfect for staying near Santana and close to hiking trails. It takes a car because it's difficult to reach by bus. Very quiet place with swimming pool and hot tub!

Beatiful location with a nice view, close to the center.

Jardim do mar is a beautiful quiet place with small alleys. The car is parked at the parking lot. There are about 5 minutes' walk to Cecilias Guesthouse - in jardim do Mar there are no streets😃. Breakfast is included, super delicious and more than sufficient - grain rolls, dark toast, cheese, cookers, cakes, jam, pot of coffee/tea and Cecilia's homemade juice. There is only a very small grocery store on site, so better to shop in advance or get cooked from Cecilia. Room is as shown on the pictures. Kitchen is included, equipped with necessary cooking utensils. Sea view. The terrace is a dream and is shared with other guests, mostly surfers. There is a circular walkway via Prazeres to Paul do Mar. Jardim do Mar is an idyllic village with small alleys and many colorful plants overgrown. If you're looking for peace and quiet and want to fall asleep to sea noise, this is the place for you! Obrigado for everything Cecilia!!

We were in Funchal for 10 days and found the perfect location in Funchal with the accommodation. We were able to reach everything on foot and were still very quiet. Breakfast is delicious and the staff at Se Boutique Hotel are very friendly. We would come back any time and can highly recommend the accommodation.

A lovely place with an absolutely stunning view on both sides - located on a mountain cam. There are 3 jacuzzis - an exceptional experience, to lie in the warm water and relax and look out over the sea and valley after a hiking day with sore legs. Room 32 that we had was as pictured. There was a duvet and radiator in the room. Maybe a little noisy, but perfectly fine for us. The restaurant served an even breakfast, so you got full. Fresh and delicious. Ok dinner restaurant - several km to an alternative. Food was well cooked. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Danilo is a very nice and attentive host with a great team. It has created a beautiful home and fills it with a lot of warmth. This includes the delicious breakfast, which puts every 5-star hotel in the shade. We only enjoyed the 28-degree warm pool, which was due to the beauty and versatility of Madeira, so we didn't have time for a - certainly relaxing - pool stay. All in all, a very reasonable and beautiful place to stay in terms of value for money.

The bedroom and bathroom were perfect and very clean. Breakfast, served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., is good and varied. The only downside is that the walls are probably a little thin, you can hear when the neighbors take a shower. But otherwise the environment is beautiful, quiet, with a superb view of the sea. Thank you for everything.

Ives and his wife Julie are super nice hosts. Always courteous, very friendly and always helpful. They are always nearby and you can contact them if you have any questions. They give you great tips for your stay in Madeira :) The room is great, as well as the location and the pool. Breakfast is prepared with a lot of love and the muesli in the morning is homemade. Even the yogurt was made especially for us. We felt totally comfortable and would gladly come back.

I stayed at Costa's for five nights, and it was great! So peaceful, everyone was super helpful and friendly, and the room was spotless in a quiet neighborhood. location: It's a 15-20 minute walk to the center, or you can catch the number 26 bus from a stop just two minutes away. Heads up, though – it's uphill, so walking's a killer, but the bus is fine. home: there's a kitchen you can use from 8 am to 12 am, it's fully equipped if you wanna cook, and there's a fridge for your food. there is a wash machine that you can use for 1 euro. definitely recommend this place

The price included breakfast, there was not too much noise everything was in order.

Our stay remains memorable. The premises are well furnished with a beautiful swimming pool and a magnificent terrace. The hearty homemade meals were comforting and delicious. And Teresa's presence was warm and caring. A wonderful place to stay!

Unique surroundings and unique hosts. The morning breakfast and hospitality were fabulous. Around the property it is quiet and relaxing. The garden and mountain views were particularly relaxing. The attention to detail within the property is very welcoming. The Buddah room is inviting and accordingly well-equipped, you have everything you need. The hikes and sights are within easy reach by car, as Madeira is a small island anyway. We would recommend the accommodation again anytime!
