Brejos Villa Comporta with heated pool

WOW! What a property, what a host! This villa is EXCEPTIONAL - honestly the photos don’t even do it justice. It is really big with beautiful high ceilings and light streaming in everywhere. The decor is super classy and it is absolutely pristine. Ricardo takes hosting to the next level with his care and kindness - a generous welcome basket awaited us upon arrival, he organised for two tubs of ice cream to be delivered half way through our stay and was full of amazing and helpful suggestions. He even made sure we could get access to a very private and secluded beach which you needed a special pass for. Ricardo is so thoughtful and so charming. Hosts like him are the reason we love using Airbnb. If I could give more than 5 shiny gold stars I would. Do not hesitate. Book this gem of a property before someone else does. It is so close to everything, so special, so peaceful and oh so perfect. X

Sunny Garden Studio with Ocean View

We had such a wonderful time here - it’s a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay with amazing views. We greatly appreciate Matthias’s help making a reservation at a near by restaurant to celebrate my birthday and providing recommendations that are in walking distance and in Cascais. The location is great for those who love to hike - there are a series of trails right behind the house that take you to the beaches. It is also walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants, however the sidewalks to get there can be narrow on a busier street.

The most amazing little find, located in a lovely quiet area. Nice restaurants close by that are really cheap. This place is absolutely perfect if you are looking for a super relaxing holiday. Ricardo is the most perfect host & has the most wonderful properties, do check them all out. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Casa do Cerrado

My husband and I recently stayed at the house as we were in Portugal for a wedding. As keen runners, we chose this spot as it was close to supermarkets and some really amazing restaurants, but also right by the park for exploring and some beautiful trails. It is a great base for running/hiking and not too far from the beach either. The house itself is very traditional and simple but that’s exactly why we chose it. It’s completely private, but close enough to walk for dinner (under an hour to several places in foot) or a short drive, so not a mission to pop out for anything. It has a cute garden and even deck chairs to enjoy the sun if you don’t want to lay on the grass. Pedro couldn’t be more helpful. From recommendations of trails, to being flexible with checking in/out he made everything about the booking a breeze and we’d love to return one day!

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Cabana Amarela - Caparica

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Carla's house is simply spectacular, exactly like the photos, cozy, super clean, extremely equipped with everything we needed. Carla was super attentive since our first contact, always willing to help with whatever was needed, always available to answer questions! My family and I loved staying at her house and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Portugal! Thank you for everything Carla.
