Our Meru Mountain Cottage lies beautifully in a large private garden with an incredible view of Mount Meru, the "little sister" of Kilimanjaro. The Cottage has 1 bedroom, 1 lounge with kitchen, 1 bathroom and 1 storage room and a terrace. We are sharing our small swimming pool and BBQ area with you.
“This Airbnb stay surpassed my expectations in every possible way. The accommodation is excellent with all the facilities that one could wish. The location is marvellous, right next to a National Park with miles and miles of interesting and scenic walking right on the doorstep. It is clean, safe, comfortable, and has all the facilities that might be expected. There is a lovely big garden with gorgeous views-the great place to sit and relax and read or write or whatever. Horst and Debbie are wonderful hosts who do everything they can to make your stay the best. I only wish that I had been able to change my flight and stay longer!”
There are two units of two bedroom apartments with private and bublic bathrooms, a sitting room, dining and a kitchen. A very nice place for one night stay to catch an early morning flight at KIA, short term stay for business or vacation and even long term stay. Also it is situated 14 kms from Chemka/Kikuletwa Hot Springs, Boma Ng'ombe 12kms from Kilimanjaro International Airport 300m from Moshi-Arusha Main Rd
“Very comfortable, big apartments in a lovely garden. Perfect service, AC and hot water perfectly working, also dinner is provided. The responsible girls are very friendly, helpful and speak perfectly English. From Le Parlour it is a 15 minutes drive to Kilimanjaro airport. But actually it would be worth a longer stay, for example to explore Arusha Nationalpark, the Kilimanjaro area or the Kikuletwa springs.”
This location is only a 15 minute walk to the bus station, the local tuk tuk/ motorcycle taxis and car taxis. It is only 35 minutes away from Moshi (the arts district) and one hour away from Arusha. It is a 15-20 minute drive from the JRO airport. Boma Ng'ombe sits right at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, on the way to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire.
“Dee and Mama Lema's house and experience was just great..once again. They are always very helpful to me. I have been bringing my college students to their house for years now. It serves as my base for the projects that they do in the region. They are great hosts and go out of their way to make one's stay and experience rewarding. Their chef Clement is an excellent cook who uses local foods and is capable of making many kinds of dishes from traditional Tanzanian to global. Their house is not in the tourist frenzy of Moshi which is about 20 minutes away. If you are in the area and want an authentic, honest, professional, caring, and reliable stay this is your place. They can arrange anything you might like to do while you are in the area.”
