Traditional country house on São Jorge Island, built 100 years ago by our great-grandparents, it was at that time a small house and haystack, where they kept the animals that worked in the fields. It is located a few meters from the sea in an absolutely quiet location. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing, hiking, and swimming in the sea. They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.

Grandfather Francisco's House

Once a traditional wine cellar, built by Francisco Paulo in 1980, this villa served for many years as a production site and warehouse for the Paulo family's wine. The wine cellar has been remodeled and expanded, but it maintains the traditional elevations and the decoration and details of the times when it was used as a wine cellar. Next to the bathing area, it has a view that invites long nights of conversation.
