Holiday rentals with beach access in Sao Roque

We had a great time here! The view is amazing and the appartment is more then complete. Everything you need is available. The communication with Miguel was easy and he gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we arrived there was enough food for the next day, what a great service! We can really recommend a stay here, you will never forget it!

Great view from the balcony, nice spot to have breakfast or an afternoon beverage. Beach is great…unless it is really windy and the waves are rolling in hard.

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

De hosts waren erg vriendelijk en gaven goede tips voor over het hele eiland! Het appartement zelf is ook mooi en aan alles is gedacht. Kleine dingen als een wasmand, strandhanddoek, een dekentje en een fruitmandje laten het meteen voelen als een thuis!

Pedro's place was a cozy place in the middle of the beautiful Furnas surroundings. Pedro was helpful and provided a lot of information about the activities and restaurants at Furnas. and also thanks for the little intentions towards us at the place ! Thanks you very much!

Jorge was a great host and I would definitely book with him again. He was super communicative and always making sure everything was okay to our liking. He gave us a lot of really good recommendations which helped with the itinerary we made. The area was quiet and very safe! The apartment was very spacious and also very clean. I would highly recommend Jorge and this Airbnb to anyone visiting São Miguel.

Epicenter was the perfect central location to explore Sao Miguel during the day, and enjoy the privacy of home at night. The neighbors are a little noisy so bring ear plugs but the amenities here made it well worth it!

Manuela was there to greet us and show us around. She answered our questions and had local restaurant recommendations. ( Cais 20 was my favorites and within walking distance ) There also is another restaurant nearby Jardim do Mar, with a small play area for kids. The house was exactly as depicted and clean. The view of the water is amazing. This location is close to downtown and night life. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Wir, Familie mit 2 Kindern, hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Wohnung hat viel Charme und bietet eine gute Aussicht aufs Meer.

This is an old, converted fisherman’s cottage (we think). It’s a beautiful place with access to sea swimming pools right out the back garden gate. Easy walking distance to Lagoa along a coastal path leading right to the most amazing set of sea swimming pools (plus proper pools). Local cafe/bar/restaurant right on the doorstep. Kitchen was great, bathrooms clean and showers lovely and warm and powerful. Living space upstairs was fab - cosy in the rain but also perfect with the terrace door open in the evening. We have two young adult girls and one of them wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the communal space next to the kitchen but we easily moved her bed into the small room so she could sleep next to her sister. The only downside was that it was difficult to get things dry when it rained. Everything stayed damp and ended up smelling musty. In the wet, humid conditions the cottage feels a little damp. Generally speaking though, this is a great place. Highly recommend.

Absolutely breathtaking view of the coast. Lovely welcome basket with some local goodies and within walking distance of a nice little restaurant! Parking is limited and streets are tight so be prepared if bringing a car, there is a free lot right across the street. Small tourist tax will be charged that isn’t mentioned in the listing but overall a great place to stay! Thank you Fatima for sharing your home with us!

Mario’s place was clean, was an easy location to get to and on top of that had a beautiful view. The patio area and pool were a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view. Check in directions were clear and Mário was a super responsive host.

Excelente airbnb em Vila Franca do Campo! Apartamento super bem localizado em cima do mar (vistas deslumbrantes) com locais na rua para parquear a viatura. Anfitriões muito simpáticos. Cozinha bem equipada. Claramente uma excelente acomodação para ficar em São Miguel (Açores)

Wir waren 10 Tage in Maria's großartigem Haus. Von Maria gab es vor der Ankunft eine tolle Wegbeschreibung und wie der Check-In erfolgt. Alles hat super geklappt. Das Ambiente hat die Beschreibung tatsächlich übertroffen. Es gab alles, was für einen Urlaub in einem Ferienhaus benötigt wird. Zur Begrüßung Marmelade, Wasser und Zwieback, so dass man sich gleich gut versorgt fühlte. Das Haus war ausgesprochen sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bett sehr bequem und die Außenanlage mit soviel Liebe angelegt und gepflegt. Wir können es allen empfehlen, hier eine ruhige Zeit zu verbringen. Trotzdem war alles schnell und gut erreichbar. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen...

This was a very well situated home that felt private and secure. The unit was bright and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics needed. The bathrooms were clean and modern with plenty of toilet paper (could have used tissues). We were given 2 towels (one for home and one for beach/water activities) and a hand towel. I would have liked an extra towel for the week long stay. Storage in the bedrooms was great and loved the room darkening blinds! I personally felt the beds were too firm. The couch was equally as firm. For 2 people, the living room furniture was adequate but if you’re a group of 4 or more, there isn’t enough seating. The dining table seats plenty! The balcony furniture was great and my son loved lounging in the hammock and enjoying the surrounding beauty. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk with a decent restaurant on the beach. A rental car is a necessity to get around. Being centrally located meant easy access to all the island has to offer. Great stay!

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Absolutely perfect Airbnb in so many ways - clean, lots of amenities, great location. We had 5 days here on Sao Miguel Island and Maria's condo was perfect. She left us snacks, wine and other little treats. Maria is incredibly generous and has great attention to detail. We highly recommend staying here.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Un immense merci à Graça et Francisco pour leur accueil chaleureux et attentionné. L’appartement était impeccable, confortable et parfaitement situé pour découvrir Ponta Delgada et les environs. Leur disponibilité et leurs recommandations, notamment pour les excursions, ont grandement enrichi notre séjour. Ce fut un point d’ancrage idéal pour explorer l’île, se reposer et profiter pleinement des Açores. Une expérience 5 étoiles du début à la fin!

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia nesta casa! Sentimo-nos bem recebidos desde o início e a casa tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Houve uma pequena situação durante a nossa estadia, nada relacionado com a casa ou com os anfitriões, mas ainda assim foram super rápidos e atenciosos a ajudar, o que agradecemos imenso. A localização também é bastante boa: conseguimos chegar facilmente a pé ao que precisávamos. É preciso caminhar um pouco, mas faz-se bem. No geral, foi uma ótima experiência e recomendamos sem hesitar. Obrigado por tudo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nathan’s condo. Our day started and ended on the balcony, enjoying the ocean view, quite sure we even saw a pod of dolphins one morning! Kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need to cook some meals. Pingo Doce Supermarket is about a 2 minute drive and the beach really is a five minute walk. Very central location to get everywhere on the island - Nordeste was our furthest day trip and it took about an hour. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights at the Ocean View 11. Before we committed to the reservation I could tell we had a lot in common with our hosts. We are an active, healthy athletic couple in our 70’s that love exploring, hiking, eating, conversing with locals and learning history. The unit is perfect and well described the way it is. I could always find parking within two blocks. The best rooms in the house are the awesome patio with oven view. We had all our breakfasts there. It’s quiet, spacious and modern. The malecón along the beach is awesome and great for a walk or run. I swam at the protected beach near it. The owners gave us an amazing list of recommended sites to visit and restaurants. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We went to almost all of the sites and then some. I highly recommend this stay and we personally intend to return more to explore the extreme eastern part os Sao Miguel as well and to visit the other islands Enjoy it
