Fantastic stay. The house and garden are gorgeous. The place looks even better than the pictures. Our host has been very kind and shared many tips with us. Special mention for the hot tub. Ps : Easy to park and supermarket nearby.

The place was fabulous, Roberto was a great accommodating host. We would definitely come back if we come back to Sao Miguel. The house is great for a large group, with large accommodating rooms, a beautiful backyard with an amazing view. Location is central on the island so not more than 40 min drive to anywhere you would like to go, 20 min to Ponta Delgada (the largest town/city). Only comment for improvement would be the air conditioning, it is only in one area of the house, not throughout, so the bedrooms can be warm if you are a custom to A/C in bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Roberto.

Tip top! Clear recommendation. :-) We spent 5 nights here and felt right at home. Very clean accommodation, a beautiful view from the terrace + jacuzzi to the sea and super helpful and friendly hosts. The tranquility there is also indescribable. Here, however, you definitely need a rental car if you want to do other things, as you live far away from the big cities. That's exactly why it was perfect for us.

Ruben is an amazing host, with top recommendations and makes you feel welcome. He went above and beyond to welcome us with a gift basket (and took into account our dietary restrictions). Cottage is nice, with the hot tub and sauna in great working condition. Great way to unwind after a day of exploring / hiking

We had a great stay at Home Sweet Home during our trip to Sao Miguel! The house was clean and well kept. Our family of four, including 2 teenagers had plenty of space and all of the amenities worked well for us. It is in a great location on the island. It’s is pretty central so easy to drive to sites in either direction.

This is hands down the best Airbnb my boyfriend and I have ever stayed at! The apartment is extremely well kept and has everything you could possibly need. In addition, Maria and Joao Paulo were the most amazing hosts! Here are the highlights: - Looks just like the photos! Super clean - In unit washer was amazing - Insane views of the water - Extremely well located (also less than 10 min from the airport!) - Maria and Joao Paolo were extremely responsive and proactive in giving us tips for the island and the apartment - They even made us a local dessert which was so good! - Truly the best hosts we’ve ever had I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that is looking to experience Sao Miguel!

We had a fantastic stay at Tara & Edmundo’s place - the house was incredibly cosy, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. A highlight was definitely enjoying our breakfast in the garden which overlooks the ocean. Tara was incredibly easy to communicate with and always replied quickly to any questions we had. She provided detailed instructions prior to our arrival, which made check-in a quick and easy process. A real treasure of a place that made our amazing trip to the Azores even better.

Great view from the balcony, nice spot to have breakfast or an afternoon beverage. Beach is great…unless it is really windy and the waves are rolling in hard.

Simply the BEST! Max's house was absolute perfection for our group of 6 friends (3 couples). With a week on São Miguel, this beautifully quiet, coastal home was our ideal base. We all had our own wonderful personal space, while the living and dining areas easily accommodated us all. Mornings began with leisurely breakfasts on the veranda (and occasional dolphin spottings!), nights were spent in comfortable beds serenaded by the sea. We enjoyed cooking big meals in the well-equipped galley kitchen and exploring local restaurants. Max was a stellar host, no, actually the BEST host – leaving fresh fruit, bread, and wine, helping with local dining and sightseeing suggestions. Parking for two cars was ample, the pool is lovely and the nearby black sand beach was a rugged, stunning walk. We really could not have asked for anything more, it was perfection! 😊

They are super nice and the place is clean and you feel at home. the view is beautiful too. Totally recommend It!

Absolutely breathtaking view of the coast. Lovely welcome basket with some local goodies and within walking distance of a nice little restaurant! Parking is limited and streets are tight so be prepared if bringing a car, there is a free lot right across the street. Small tourist tax will be charged that isn’t mentioned in the listing but overall a great place to stay! Thank you Fatima for sharing your home with us!

A very nice house, tastefully furnished, very well-equipped kitchen and the best of course the terrace with magnificent views over the Atlantic. The communication with Sven could not have been better, he informed us in advance, tips for supermarkets and restaurants were also available. A small path leads down right next to the neighboring house to a small beach with great rocks and beautiful surf, really great. We had a very nice time here! Clear recommendation.

Ricardo was a great host, he met us and walked us through the house as well as gave us local recommendations. It was a beautiful place to stay, surroundings were beautiful as well as the Airbnb itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. There was everything you need-and more. The view from the accommodation over the well-maintained pool and the surrounding area overlooking the port of Ponta Delgado was fantastic. The dog made you feel safe on the property at all times. If you want, he's the best buddy. The host is extremely friendly, helpful and speaks very good English, which made the stay very pleasant. Pedro not only gave tips for Sao Miguel, but also recommended sights for our other stops on the other islands. The central location on the island makes it possible to reach any point on the island within 1 hour. We will be happy to come back.

mariana’s apartment is super comfortable and clean, great view and just some minutes away from a great beach, we had an amazing time there.

My husband and I spent our Babymoon in São Miguel, and José’s place was an absolute dream! The amenities were top-notch, and the infinity pool was a true highlight—floating with that stunning ocean view felt like pure bliss. I couldn’t get enough of the lush greenery surrounding the property; it made everything feel so serene and alive. Everything about our stay was peaceful, calm, and just what we needed before welcoming our little one.

Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

The property was beautiful and clean. Paulo was the perfect host with great vibes, conversations and local recommendations. The view from the balcony is second to none. This was the perfect getaway for us. Can't believe it's just an hour drive from Ponta Delgada Airport. We highly recommend Paulo's apartment, as well as visiting the beautiful São Miguel Island. We'll surely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. 10/10! Elisa is extremely hospitable. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The location was great for accessing everything we wanted to visit and explore. The cafe is awesome to have on location for a morning coffee, listening to the birds and hanging at the pool was a highlight. Overall a great little retreat within the island.
